FTWW is looking for a full-time Volunteer and Community Coordinator! The successful candidate will strengthen community activity by engaging with external stakeholders and members of the public, increasing our reach and volunteer numbers. They will ensure that volunteers are supported and equipped to participate in a wide range of activities, both in-person and online.

The role is full-time home-based within Wales, with occasional travel to events and meetings, so a driving licence and access to a car would be an advantage.

We are a small but mighty charity where no two days are the same. You may be involved in facilitating an online coproduction event one day and speaking at the Senedd the next so excellent communication skills are a must. We currently have over 90 registered volunteers and a key part of the role will be to develop our volunteer programme.  As a small team, you will also support our part-time Engagement Coordinator, so there will be plenty of opportunity to demonstrate your creative skills too.

The ability to speak Welsh, or a willingness to learn, is desirable. We may also consider part time hours, or a job share for the right candidates. Please note in your application if this applies to you.

The Women Off to Work (WOW) Training & Engagement Project Connector will play a key role in engaging and recruiting local women onto this employability programme, and supporting them to access accredited and non-accredited training courses through inclusive outreach, programme support, co-design of training opportunities and workshops.

The role will also involve building and sustaining relationships with key stakeholders (education, corporate, community partners) to enhance the programmes delivery and impact whilst also generating opportunities for women to gain both paid and unpaid work experience.

Approved Premises (APs) work with high-risk people released from prison, providing a vital element in public protection arrangements. APs offer a level of contact, support and supervision within the community that is unique within the Criminal Justice System. As a member of the Approved Premises team, you will model pro-social behavior and foster a positive, respectful culture with both clients and colleagues. You will actively engage with residents, supporting communal activities such as meal preparation, and contribute to the delivery of individual sentence plans in collaboration with probation officers, police, and external agencies.

Your role will involve providing administrative and practical support, ensuring daily tasks are completed, and following all operational protocols. You will encourage compliance and enforce rules relating to curfews and drug and alcohol testing as required. Keeping colleagues, multi-agency partners, and management informed is essential.

You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the health, safety, security, cleanliness, and well-being of the premises and residents, utilizing tools such as CCTV, observation, and direct personal contact. Accurate, timely record-keeping and appropriate information sharing with respect for confidentiality are critical components of this role.

Using your initiative, you will identify and address additional tasks or emerging issues, working within the service to maintain an enabling environment. Adherence to the Approved Premises Manual, Hestia policies, and relevant justice service requirements is expected, alongside consistently demonstrating The Hestia Approach.

- Lead and manage workstreams for organisation of Annual Conference, including chairing Working Group meetings, coordinating exhibitions, managing registration, accommodation and catering bookings, venue sourcing, IT and AV requirements and more
- Work alongside Membership Services, Communications and Compliance teams, as well as Brand, to collaborate cohesively on events
- Create and distribute registration forms for all events and manage responses and attendee requirements
- Liaise with venue staff, raise relevant payments, negotiate prices and conditions, and finalise event agreements according to changing requirements
- Use appropriate and effective event planning tools to manage workload, deadlines and reporting

You will bring with you experience in events planning and management and strong administrative and minute taking experience. You will be confident using various systems including Microsoft Office and databases and will be an exceptional communicator with groups and stakeholders at all levels.

You will be contracted to our London, Haig House, Hub with a minimum expectation of two days per week working in person at the Hub (one of which must be a Wednesday) and flexibility for working remotely/at home when not on site.

Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse (AAFDA) was founded by Frank Mullane in memory of his sister Julia Pemberton and her son Will who were both killed by her ex-partner in 2003. Each year, more than 200 families lose a loved one to domestic homicide or suicide or sudden death following domestic abuse. We help these families in many ways, our prime function being to provide families in England and Wales with specialist peer support and expert and specialist advocacy for the range of statutory reviews that will take place after fatal domestic abuse. 

AAFDA are recruiting a Deputy CEO to join our remote team to play a pivotal role in ensuring our operational success, driving key programmes, enhancing organisational performance, and supporting income generation efforts.

elop is a  London based thriving community-led LGBT+ mental health & wellbeing charity offering a range of support, advice, information, counselling, and group support services to lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT+) communities.

About Bright Futures UK

Bright Futures UK supports children and young people aged 5 to 24 whose education has been disrupted due to serious long-term physical or mental health conditions. We offer online one-to-one tutoring, befriending, and mentoring programmes, as well as group programmes including hospital workshops, industry events, and advocacy actions initiatives. Working in close partnership with hospitals, families, and other services, we ensure that children and young people experiencing health-related challenges are not left behind.

Role Overview

This is a key role in the delivery of our online personalised programme. The Coordinator will oversee the children and young people referral pathway, acting as the first point of contact for new referrals and guiding children, young people, and their families, educators, or hospital contacts through every stage of the onboarding process.

You will be responsible for gathering detailed and sensitive information about each young person’s health, education, and wellbeing, to ensure the support they receive is tailored, appropriate, and trauma-informed. Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records is a central part of this role. You will also line manage the Personalised Programme Coordinators, work closely with the wider Programme and Volunteer Teams, and play a key role in external outreach and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Referral and Programme Oversight

• Act as the lead contact for all incoming referrals, including those from hospitals, statutory services, community organisations, and families
• Hold safe, compassionate, and confidential conversations with CYPs to understand their needs and gather relevant information around education, physical health, and mental wellbeing
• Ensure all referral documentation, risk assessments, consent forms, and safeguarding procedures are completed to a high standard and in line with organisational policy
• Maintain strong working relationships with referral partners, providing updates and sharing appropriate feedback
• Oversee the matching of referred CYP to suitable volunteers in collaboration with the Volunteer Senior Coordinator
• Monitor programme delivery through regular check-ins with Personalised Programme Coordinators to provide support and identify emerging risks or additional needs
• Liaise with internal colleagues to escalate safeguarding concerns and ensure support plans remain up to date
• Contribute to the development of our personalised support model, helping us adapt and evolve our offer based on the needs of our community

Team Management and Coordination

• Provide day-to-day line management and supervision to the Personalised Programme Coordinators
• Delegate tasks effectively and oversee the coordination of team workloads and timelines

Stakeholder Engagement and Promotion

• Promote Bright Futures UK’s personalised programme offer to relevant professionals and services
• Represent the organisation at external meetings, events, and forums
• Work with the Communications Team to ensure referral resources and information materials are accessible, clear, and up to date

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Administration

• Maintain accurate records using our CRM systems (Better Impact and Asana), ensuring compliance with GDPR and safeguarding standards
• Support ongoing monitoring and evaluation through data collection and feedback

Person Specification

Essential:

· Demonstrated ability to hold sensitive conversations in a trauma-informed, empathetic and professional way

· Knowledge of the education or healthcare systems affecting children and young people

World Jewish Relief created the Specialist Training and Employment Programme (STEP) for refugees in 2016 and today we are the largest provider of specialist employment support to people who have experienced forced migration in the UK.STEP aims to support and empower people through a tailored employment programme that addresses the complex barriers that they face when preparing for and ultimately finding work in the UK.   

We support all people who have experienced forced migration, regardless of their proximity to the labour market, to develop the skills and access the opportunities they need to secure sustainable and meaningful employment. We run STEP online and in person programmes across the UK.  Our work now includes specific programming for women refugees, Afghan nationals, Ukrainians and those who have come through the asylum system

We are now expanding our work to deliver (in partnership with the British Council) an English Language and Employment Support Programme for up to 4,000 Ukrainians and Hong Kongers (50% of each community) over the next 12 months.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations and Partnerships Manager to oversee the operational and partnership work of STEP which includes infrastructure and process, data and reporting as well as partnerships. Your responsibilities will include:

• Operational responsibility for UK Programmes ensuring processes are in place for a smooth running and high-quality programme. 
• Overseeing allocation of clients to the programme and their Employment Advisor 
• Managing the CRM data cleaning and reporting process and producing monthly and quarterly reporting data from the CRM
• Using advanced Excel skills to analyse results, identify trends and learnings to use data to drive changes and improve the quality of programmes.
• Managing the administration of the programme, including tech and client accessibility and excellent customer service 
• Managing external relationships with the support of UK Programmes team to deliver the programme.

About you

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Demonstrable experience of managing direct delivery Programme operations.
• Knowledge of refugee and/or livelihoods programme is desirable
• Demonstrable experience of line managing a team of people
• A high level of financial literacy to manage and report against programme budgets.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in Monitoring and Evaluation processes, including using Excel to capture and analyse data
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and budget preparation/management using Excel
• Ability to produce high quality written work under pressure and to deadlines
• Ability to work in agile and fast paced environment
• Ability to network proactively and build relationships with employers and external agencies

You’ll contribute to creating and scheduling content across our social media channels and website, support the production of our e-newsletter, and play a key role in monitoring community engagement online.

Alongside digital communications, you’ll provide vital administrative support across our wider operations including health information, research and policy. From helping coordinate webinars and podcasts to assisting with day-to-day operations, this is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of a small, friendly and ambitious team working to improve the lives of people with eczema.
