The Choir with No Name has been running choirs involving people impacted by homelessness and marginalisation since 2008, and we currently have choirs in Birmingham, Liverpool, London, Cardiff, Coventry, Sheffield and Brighton. Summary

The National Safeguarding Team supports churches, dioceses, religious communities, cathedrals and other Church bodies to make the Church of England a safer Church for all. The Role

As Senior Grants Executive, you’ll play a vital role in the post-award administration of our grants programme, ensuring that funding is effectively managed and impactful. You’ll work closely with The Royal Marsden hospital staff, fundraisers, and communications teams to support a wide range of projects—from psychological support services to early-phase drug development.

You’ll also:

· Administer grant-funded projects such as Pre-doctoral Fellowships and Quality Improvement initiatives.

· Support the implementation of a new Grants Management System.

· Provide timely, accurate information to fundraising and marketing teams.

· Help ensure donor funds are used effectively and transparently.

Who We’re Looking For

You’ll be a confident communicator and skilled organiser with:

· Significant experience in administration, ideally in the charity, NHS, or academic sectors.

· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

· High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially SharePoint, Word, and Excel.

· A keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

A scientific background and experience with grants or finance systems are desirable but not essential.

The health information team produces high quality, accessible health and patient information for people affected by breast cancer or worried about their breast health.  Our printed information is used by healthcare professionals across the UK and our online information includes over 200 webpages.  For this new role, we’re looking for an organised and collaborative individual to support the administration functions in the team, communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and people affected by breast cancer and help monitor and report on the impact of our activity.

About you

You’re an excellent communicator with good customer services skills, who enjoys working with others. You’re organised and able to juggle multiple projects. You’ll ideally have experience of using Excel to show statistical information and are familiar with the use of a CRM database.

We are looking for a highly organised and confident Supporter Care Officer to administer and provide an excellent supporter care service for the Fundraising team.
You will be the first point of contact for prospective and existing supporters, helping with enquiries, taking donations, reassuring concerns and ensuring supporters have a positive experience with every contact and interaction they have. You will be confident working independently and will use your own judgement to solve problems and communicate with a wide range of our supporters and donors – and guiding them to key information, quickly and clearly, using offline and online channels.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Responsible for providing a welcoming and professional first point of contact for prospective and current supporters who contact the charity by telephone, mail, or email.
• Deal with enquiries, concerns, or complaints about fundraising activities, diplomatically and sensitively, taking responsibility for following up with clear, accessible and relevant information.
• Send out thank you letters and welcome packs promptly and within agreed time frames, to ensure all supporters, especially new donors, regular givers and legacy pledgers, feel valued and motivated to keep donating.
• Use own initiative to thank our mid-value donors and legacy pledgers personally where possible, in accordance with our stewardship plans.
• Proactively suggest improvements to our supporter stewardship strategy and working with the Individual Giving Manager to implement these.
• Use Raiser’s edge/ RE NXT, our customer relationship management database, with accurate data entry for all enquiries, updating customers’ addresses, contact preferences and all other admin needs.

Person Specification:
 

• Have a good standard of IT skills and computer literacy specifically relating to MS office packages, database/ CRM systems and the recording or inputting of data.
• Experience of providing excellent customer service, ideally within charity fundraising.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills a good level of confidence, diplomacy, and empathy, especially on the telephone.
• Well organised and able to manage and prioritise workload, to meet deadlines.
• Able to use own judgement and take the initiative to introduce new ideas to improve service.
• Demonstrates ability to make decisions on enquiries, including escalating complex issues when needed.
• Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail, with an understanding of processes and protocols to protect data and uphold GDPR.
• Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable talking to people of all backgrounds.

The Daniel Spargo-Mabbs Foundation is a drug and alcohol education charity that aims to support young people to make safe choices about drugs and alcohol and reduce harm. We do this through increasing understanding of the effects and risks, and helping to develop life skills and resilience. The Foundation was set up in January 2014 by Tim and Fiona Spargo-Mabbs in response to the death of their 16-year-old son Daniel having taken ecstasy

We are recruiting an Operations Coordinator to join our team. This role will work closely with the Director to provide Executive Assistant support; work with the Head of Operations to provide HR and finance administration and coordination; and will provide general administrative support across the staff team. This is a new post to support our ever-growing work, and will be based in our Purley office.
