Herts Young Homeless is an independent charity and has been supporting vulnerable people in Hertfordshire since 1998. We are professional, passionate, collaborative and supportive charity that provides guidance to everyone who is in need of support.

The successful candidate willdeliver a high-quality service to young people aged 16–17 and their families across Hertfordshire, working alongside the Family Link Work and Mediation services to prevent family breakdown and reduce repeat homelessness. They will also support the wider team and work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure the service achieves its key performance indicators (KPIs).

What will you be doing? 

Lead the hyh Hub, overseeing its day-to-day operations and ensuring the effective delivery of services. The Hub acts as a gateway for young people aged 16–17 to access hyh’s prevention services. In this role, you will build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, partners, and commissioners, while supporting the recruitment, training, and professional development of Advice & Information and Admin Workers. You will also monitor outcomes and produce reports for the leadership team and funders to demonstrate impact and inform future service development.

About the opportunity

As a cross-team housing caseworker, you will work alongside individuals who are at risk of homelessness, often during times of heightened stress and uncertainty. Rather than focusing solely on immediate needs, your approach will centre around building trust, listening to each person’s story, and helping them take informed, practical steps toward safe and sustainable housing.

You’ll work across our network of charity partners, bringing vital capacity and support to local teams during times of increased demand or staff shortages. Your flexible, compassionate presence ensures that people continue to receive timely, high-quality support, no matter where they first reach out.

Job Title: Deputy Service Manager

Location: Based within the Non-residential service in Wembley, working within communities, homes, and other residentials.  This service does have step free access.

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday on a rota working 09:00 - 17:00, hours may be extended 08:00 - 18:00. You may also be required to work weekends, evenings, and bank holidays. You will also take part in our out of hours on call rota for managers.

This is a great opportunity for a Deputy Service Manager to join our team based in Wembley. You will support the Service Manager to ensure high quality service delivery, being a key contact for staff, helping them feel supported, skilled, and empowered within their roles. Watford and Three Rivers Refugee Partnership (WTRRP) provide services to refugees, asylum-seekers and other vulnerable migrants in our area.

We are looking for a part-time Team Administrator to support us with administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of services we provide as well as support with the volunteer recruitment process. This post is funded by the National Lottery grant until February 2027 with possibilities of being extended. This is a part-time post of 18.5 hours a week and is office based in Watford.

We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and administrative skills who understands the needs of our clients and partner organisations. In return we can offer you an interesting and rewarding role that enables you to give back to your community. We run a successful drop-in service every Tuesday from 11.30-1.30pm, a Social Hub for clients, as well as a number of ESOL classes. We have a full-time Caseworker and a part-time volunteer co-ordinator as well as over 60 volunteers.

We are looking for an administrator to join our Age Well Together Service to support the Home Together Coordinator to facilitate our Home Together Project.

The Age Well Together service offers a range of assistance to support clients at home and in their local community to prevent decline; maintain independence; reduce social isolation; and promote health and wellbeing with care, friendship and understanding. The Home Together Service will provide both reactive assistance for up to six weeks from a clients return from hospital and remote ongoing support thereafter.

Overall purpose of role 

The Administrative Support Officer will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and effective day-to-day running of WeProtect Global Alliance. Reporting to the Deputy Head of Operations, this new role provides wide-ranging support across administration, finance, HR, and team coordination, ensuring that internal processes run efficiently in a dynamic, remote working environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

Administrative and Operational Support 

• Provide general administrative support to the Secretariat, including correspondence, maintaining organisational records and policies, and managing virtual offices. 

• Schedule and coordinate Board and FRAC meetings, including preparing materials and accurate minute-taking. 

• Support the organisation of retreats, away days, and staff travel, as well as managing the Monday meeting rota and staff engagement activities. 

• Order equipment, business cards, and other items for staff as needed, and maintain the fixed asset register. 

• Provide ad-hoc support to the Communications Lead, assisting with administrative tasks, coordination, and document preparation as required. 

Finance and Contracts Administration 

• Support financial processes by coding and processing invoices, expenses, and receipts, assisting with monthly financial consolidation, and coding income allocations. 

• Provide support with audits (UK and Stichting), intercompany transfers, payroll variance checks, and day-to-day banking. 

• Assist with contract administration and supplier relationships, including account management (e.g. CloudTech24, Signeasy). 

• Support payment approvals and processing in Telleroo, and contribute to accurate record-keeping for budget and compliance purposes.

• Support recruitment processes, including the administrative aspects of staff onboarding and offboarding. 

• Assist with payroll payment processing, insurance management, and HR compliance for UK and Irish staff. 

• Help coordinate staff support initiatives, such as leaving gifts and team events. 

Team Coordination and Events Support 

• Organise and support regular team meetings. 

• Circulate new policies, processes, and organisational updates to ensure staff remain well-informed. 

• Contribute to the delivery of the biennial Global Summit and other major events where required. 

Process Improvement and Capability Building 

• Work closely with the Deputy Head of Operations to strengthen operational systems and ensure effective, compliant day-to-day management. 

• Support internal training initiatives to build staff capability in finance, HR, and operational processes. 

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement best practice across the organisation.

About the role

The Administration and Facilities Assistant role at Crisis Skylight Croydon is varied and fulfilling. As the Administration and Facilities Assistant, you will assist with the day-to-day administrative tasks, health and safety and facilities management of a busy Skylight centre ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the office and member areas. You will assist with purchasing, stock control and deliveries as well as liaising with contractors. You will use internal systems to record client information. You will also help promote the Skylight internally and externally by collaborating with others and producing impactful designs.

About you

• In this role you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills and be competent using Microsoft applications including Excel.
• You will have experience of supporting a team in an administrative role with proven organisational skills.
• You will have excellent interpersonal skills, possessing the ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships within the team.
• You will be confident in financial matters such as administering petty cash and raising purchase orders.
• You will have an interest in facilities management and health and safety.
• You will have the ability to undertake manual handling tasks and to support with processing and storing deliveries.

We are seeking an experienced administrator to join the team to support of the effective delivery of the PLD portfolio including the administration of the PLD Board of Council and several committees. As part of the team the postholder will work closely with the E&T Team, CoSRH members as well as wider clinical experts and stakeholders.

The role:

• Committee Administration: Organising meetings, diary management, preparing agendas, distributing documents, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
• Communication: Managing and resolving escalated member support queries, emails, phone calls, and acting as a liaison between team members and other departments.
• Processing applications for advanced qualifications and trainer registrations.
• Maintaining standard operating procedures documentation and updating when required
• Document management: Organising and maintaining digital and physical files, including educational materials and administrative documents.
• Data entry: Inputting and updating information in databases or spreadsheets related to content, projects, or team performance etc.

You will play a pivotal role supporting the Charity in several different ways. Working with the Senior Leadership Team, you will ensure the smooth running of the organisation, providing administrative support to the Director of Operations and the Chief Executive. As a self-starter you will manage a range of tasks such as diary management, meeting minutes, assisting with event administration and HR administration. No two days will be the same!

You will be the point of contact for our HR, recruitment and training systems, ensuring consistency and assurance across the organisation. You will support HR administration such as supporting recruitment, on-boarding and off-boarding of colleagues as well as taking minutes for Board meetings, so you will need to be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

As a team player, you will provide comprehensive, confidential and sensitive people-orientated administration support, developing a deep understanding of our organisation, our work and build strong, effective working relationships with colleagues.

Remote working at home can be challenging for some and for others, it works incredibly well.
