This leadership role will play a critical part in leading the strategic change programme for animal care, by planning, co-ordinating and monitoring all the change projects as one overall plan needed to drive the continued transformation of our animal care and teams. They will also oversee the regular planning and monitoring of Operational business plans to ensure they are on track and in synchrony with the change plans.

The role     

This is a pivotal role that will shape and drive the growth and diversification of our clean energy access work, including our flagship Low Energy Inclusive Appliances (LEIA) programme and the Efficiency for Access Coalition, managed in partnership with CLASP and funded by UK Aid via the Transforming Energy Access Platform and the IKEA Foundation.

What you’ll do

Together with the Senior Programme Manager, you’ll co-lead the Strategy, Policy and Partnerships work within LEIA, with a focus on strategy development and solidifying our role as a thought leader and key influencer. You’ll provide strategic direction and sector expertise to the energy access team to inform, support and guide programme delivery, ensuring a cross-workstream effort towards the achievement of overarching goals. Also you’ll lead the delivery of a range of strategic projects and stakeholder coordination activities.

Working with colleagues and partners you’ll lead the development of innovative and distinctive concepts and support fundraising efforts with a focus on initiatives that respond to needs, add value and deliver impact. • You have experience of realising new opportunities and fundraising from international donors. You understand the challenges that exist and possess a creative flair for designing high-impact initiatives to overcome them, in partnership with others.

• You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and like your work to be collaborative and fun! You’re prepared for regular international travel, are experienced at working with diverse people from different cultures, backgrounds and fields, and comfortable working remotely, in geographically dispersed teams.

The Parks Team are a passionate group of professionals, who work together to maintain and improve Wandsworth Council’s parks, commons, playgrounds, allotments and other greenspaces. The borough of Wandsworth has one of the richest varieties of open spaces in central London.  Enable Leisure and Culture is a non-for profit charitable organisation and the lead contractor employed by Wandsworth Borough Council to provide management and maintenance of the boroughs 32 greenspaces.  This role is part of the Enable Parks team, a passionate group of people, who work together to maintain and improve Wandsworth Council’s parks, commons, allotments and other greenspaces. We are keen to recognise, value, manage and enhance the natural and heritage landscapes that we manage - contributing to a healthy planet and the wellbeing of our communities.

The role of Parks Volunteer Programme coordinator in the Enable Parks team will allow you to demonstrate your skills working with stakeholders and local communities to deliver park improvements, habitat management tasks and one-off volunteering opportunities. You will assist with developing working relations with existing corporate partners and increasing our reach by creating new partnerships in the local area and beyond. 

Your responsibility will be to manage and deliver volunteering sessions throughout the entire portfolio of parks and greenspaces.  You will develop a volunteering program which is established but in its infancy, working with key managers and the team around you to create a purposeful and output focussed programme of opportunities for local groups and corporate partners.  The potential to develop volunteering is significant, and therefore the most suitable candidates will have an entrepreneurial spirit and drive to ‘make things happens’. 

You will be responsible for creating each volunteer session as it addresses improvements or enhancements, and manage the needs of all volunteers throughout their experience.  You will have responsibility for Health and Safety, external and internal contacts and be the lead person co-ordinating all associated admin tasks to create enjoyable and productive volunteer sessions in Wandsworth.   

Another key aspect of the role will be strengthening links with businesses and organisations in the local area and beyond to develop a consistent pipeline of volunteer sessions that help improve Wandsworth parks and provide opportunities for people to give back.

You will need to have a keen eye for detail, be friendly, open, enjoy spending time outdoors (in all weather) and have experience working with and managing volunteers, in a hands-on conservation or park setting.

• Proactively develop existing relationships with local businesses and communities to attract a regular pipeline of groups that can access volunteering opportunities with Enable. 
• Work with colleagues in the Parks team and all other internal departments to design activities that fulfil the ambitions of Wandsworth Borough Council and wider Enable company strategic objectives. 
• Support colleagues in the Parks team with daily operational and project works where relevant, as directed by the Parks Delivery Manager. 

Skills and Experience:  

• Educated to degree level (or equivalent qualification) or appropriate experience in a directly related post.
• Experience of working in a volunteer management, coordination or programming role, or similar work delivering practical biodiversity, habitat or landscape management. 
• Proven ability to organise, plan, and manage projects effectively (including budget management, Health and Safety oversight, and environmental monitoring data). 
• Experience of managing / supporting volunteers (delivering soft/hard landscaping improvements with volunteers is desirable.)  
• Experience of developing annual outdoor educational/volunteering programmes for a wide range of participants.
• Entrepreneurial and customer service focussed, to allow the volunteer programme to develop into a sustainable, profitable and scalable service area. 
• The ability to work independently using your own initiative and prioritise effectively whilst at the same time working collaboratively as part of a team on common goals and shared projects to ensure the work programme is delivered effectively.

As an Income and Housing Officer you will help to maximise the organisation's rental income collection,n effectively manage rent arrears and deal with other breaches of the occupancy agreement.

What you'll do:
* Take responsibility for maximising rent collection across a defined patch of Look Ahead's portfolio of properties ensuring that rent collection targets are met and tenancies sustained

* Advise operational teams on their support related arrears management activities, including holding local surgeries with tenants and staff, taking direct control of higher level and more complex arrears cases

* Proactively monitor all current and former accounts within the defined patch and make recommendations to the Housing Manager for appropriate former accounts to be written off or referred to Look Ahead's debt collection agency

* Ensure that the rent collection function is carried out both sensitively and in a timely fashion so as to avoid the build up of excessive arrears and record all case details accurately.

* Ensure that all sign ups within the defined patch are done accurately on the correct type of tenancy and at the correct rent and service charge levels.

* Prepare files and documents for legal action and present cases in County Court hearings for possession claims, money judgements

This role is perfect for someone looking to take a step up in data management, training, and information sharing. The Data Analyst will play a key role in streamlining data processes, supporting accurate and efficient data collection across Practices, and helping us maximise the insights generated from our new, customised Salesforce data system. You will work closely with our data experts in local Practices (Practice Coordinators) and the wider SHiFT team. Therefore, you must be a proactive team player who is brilliant at building relationships, sees the value in working collaboratively, and enjoys problem-solving with others. You have a sharp eye for detail, sweat the small stuff, have a ‘can do’ attitude, and are ambitious to grow and make a difference as part of a practice-led systems change organisation.

Whilst this role requires proven experience of quantitative skills, we are open to candidates with limited or no experience in qualitative research. This is a varied role, and we envisage opportunities for fieldwork, e.g. conducting interviews, facilitating and moderating focus groups. We can provide training and support to help you develop the necessary qualitative skills. The successful candidate will bring both expertise and creativity to help improve data capture, analysis, reporting processes, and insight generation. THE RESPONSIBILITES

SHiFT’s Data Analyst has responsibility for: 

Data Collection and Management

• Support the effective use of SHiFT’s Salesforce system, ensuring accurate, timely data entry and maintenance across local Practices.
• Assist members of our local Practice Teams (Practice Coordinators and Guides) with data queries and monthly surveys.
• Coordinate and quality-assure monthly data submissions, working closely with Practice teams to ensure consistency and completeness.
• Help to develop reporting tools, dashboards, or templates on and off Salesforce to support embedding learning back into practice and more widely to contribute to our ambitions for systems change.

System Improvement and Efficiency

• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline data processes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of SHiFT’s Salesforce configuration, in collaboration with external developers and internal users.
• Help document processes and support training materials for system users.
• Navigate and innovate with different systems, including understanding the data recording systems used by Local Authorities and working with the Learning and Practice team to reduce duplication of data entry for practitioners.

Learning and Insight Generation

• Produce routine reports and data summaries for internal use, feeding into learning and influencing conversations.
• Support the Learning Team’s efforts to use data for reflection, learning, and improvement both locally and nationally.

OPERATIONS MANAGER - ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

The Operations Manager is a key support for the church’s leadership and heads the staff team providing management over key operational and missional areas of the church’s activities.

This leadership role supports the ethos and ministries of the church and its mission to be a church for the community - discovering Jesus, sharing God’s love, and caring for those in need.

A vital aim for our church’s work in the local community is that our staff relationships, our Venue ministry, our Christian hospitality and how we use and share our building should all reflect God’s character - showing compassion, generosity, and kindness.

The role has a lot of different components, so we’re looking for someone who sees all aspects of this job as an expression of the church’s mission to proclaim the Good News and will facilitate and serve the congregation, the staff and the volunteer teams as they creatively explore ways to express our Christian ethos through the life and ministries of the church. This therefore requires that they are someone who has a mature Christian faith.

Leadership:

• Work closely with the church leadership team to support the trustees, staff and congregation in the development of church vision, ethos, mission and ministries.

Administrative Services and Support:

• Provide administrative support for the Ministers. Develop and maintain administrative, organisational, communications systems and record keeping procedures for the church’s general administration. Maintain membership and constitutional records.
• Administrate the church's IT infrastructure, broadband, phone systems, and utilities accounts and ensure they meet the operational needs of the building and its ministries.
• Assist the Venue Manager to develop and maintain suitable and effective systems, strategy, pricing, communications, contract management, staffing and customer relations.
• Develop the church’s visibility and profile in the community using the church’s website, social media, ArtSpace, and missional displays and exhibitions, ensuring these align with the church’s ethos and mission.

Financial Oversight:

• Oversee provision of financial management information to Leadership team and Trustees, including budgeting, salaries, financial reports, end-of-year statements. Support them in developing financial strategies and policies.
• Oversee the accurate functioning of church financial systems, controls and procedures. Monitor and administrate reserves and investments.
• Ensure WGC's financial practices comply with UK charity regulations. Assist with the filing of the accounts and annual report to the Charity Commission.

Provide financial oversight, management, and support for:

• Venue ministry finances, pricing and strategy
• Finance Administration - ensure all financial records, payroll, pension administration, invoices, and reports are accurate and timely. Authorise payments.
• Manage the buildings budget including liaising with the Estate Manager regarding common parts expenditure.
• Financial interactions with lease and licence holders including new leases, rent reviews, break clauses and lease renewals, insurance contributions.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND HOW TO APPLY

The role is full time (37.5 hours / week - flexible schedule across at least 4 days, core hours from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm) with occasional need to work out of hours.
Please note that the nature of the role means that hybrid working is not an option.

Salary £32,400 to £36,000 depending on the competencies and experience of the successful candidate. The package also includes 28 days’ leave + Bank Holidays, and a workplace pension (with 4% employer contribution) following the successful completion of probation.

We are looking for a special Events Officer to provide key support with the delivery of a series of high-quality events for a wonderful health charity.

This is a hybrid role with 2 days a week in the London office.

The Charity
A well respected health charity dedicated to supporting high-quality research and investment in developing effective treatments, while also championing equality, diversity and inclusion. The Role
This role will join the High Value Engagement team to lead on the planning and implementation of a portfolio of key special events.

Take ownership of celebrity engagement for the celebrity sports quiz to include liaison with celebrity agents, organising logistics and being the main contact for high profile supporters on the night.

Lead on the recruitment, stewardship and briefing of all special event volunteers.

Work directly with the Digital Marketing Manager to design and administer a new system for thanking event participants to promote long-term support and streamlined stewardship journey.

Plan and produce social media for special events.

The Candidate
Strong experience in events organising ideally in special events for the charity sector.

Previous experience working with and managing volunteer committees.

Developed writing skills for correspondence with an external audience.

Competence in using Microsoft Word and Excel.
