Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) exists so nobody in Scotland suffers or dies because medical help cannot get there in time. People can get sick or have accidents anywhere and anytime. But in Scotland there are places where urgent medical help cannot reach people. Or help gets there too late. And when lives are at risk every minute matters. As a charity we rely on donations from the Scottish public, companies and communities to ensure that urgent medical help gets to the patient when it is needed, wherever they are and at whatever time of day.

The Role
As part of our ongoing strategy for growth and national impact, SCAA is seeking a motivated, strategic and creative individual to take ownership of our marketing and communications function — helping raise the profile of the service, strengthen brand visibility, and support our ambitious income goals. The Marketing and Communications Manager will be responsible for the strategic oversight and development of SCAA’s brand, marketing and communications function. They will lead and manage a small in-house team as well as external consultants and contractors, as required  — ensuring that all content, campaigns and communications align with our brand, engage our audiences effectively, and support organisational goals across fundraising, awareness and supporter engagement. With a strong focus on brand management, digital growth, and content oversight, this role will ensure that SCAA’s voice is consistent, compelling and clearly connected to our ambition that no one in Scotland should die because help cannot get there in time.

This role will be based either in Perth, at Scone Airport, or at our Aberdeen base at Aberdeen Airport, where our emergency response helicopters and operational crew are located.  The usual hours and days of work will be Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, however this role may involve occasional evening or weekend work, as well as the occasional requirement to provide media on-call cover. SCAA also supports flexible and hybrid working arrangements. 

As part of a dynamic, purpose-driven team, you will work closely with fundraising, operations, senior leadership and frontline crew — ensuring our communications reflect the life-saving impact of our work and inspire support across Scotland.

About You:

• Previous experience in a marketing and communications management role.
• Demonstrable expertise in digital marketing, including website optimisation, SEO, email marketing and paid social.
• Hands-on experience using key digital tools such as Google Ads, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and Google Tag Manager (GTM) to manage, track and evaluate performance.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and overseeing campaign delivery and creative production.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and segmentation tools to support targeted communications.
• Experience working with external agencies and creative suppliers.
• Experience of working within budgets.
• Proven ability to lead on brand development and ensure consistency across teams, platforms and outputs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence across an organisation.

Your Role

As Head of Harm Reduction and Engagement, you’ll lead our Drug & Alcohol Support Hub (DASH) service, detached outreach provision and youth justice support – while driving innovation in youth empowerment, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), and new service models. You’ll be our subject expert in harm reduction, criminal justice, and engagement with vulnerable and marginalised young people.

You’ll play a key role as part of our Senior Management Team, and lead a passionate, experienced team delivering critical services to young people across Southampton and Hampshire. You will also lead on maintaining strong strategic partnerships, including with our substance use lead provider, Change Grow Live.

Your key responsibilities will include: 

• Leading and managing our DASH service, detached team, and young people’s link workers
• Overseeing delivery of effective, evidence-led services that meet contractual and community needs
• Driving our organisational response to DEI in service delivery
• Supporting innovation and emerging projects such as Alternative Provision
• Leading strategic partnerships with statutory, voluntary and community organisations
• Representing No Limits externally as a senior manager and subject expert
• Managing teams, budgets, quality assurance, safeguarding, and development of new services

At Boaz Trust, we believe everyone deserves a safe place to call home. For over 20 years, we’ve provided accommodation and specialist support to people who are facing homelessness and destitution because of their insecure or unresolved immigration status. A well known local charity VASA is a small charity (turnover £350k) supporting 4,000 people across Rugby, Solihull East and South Warwickshire with community activities, dementia services and our community transport service.

Following the decision of our long serving Charity Manager to move on to pastures new, we are seeking a dynamic individual to take on the role of Interim Charity Manager for an inital period of 6 months with the potential to be extended dependant subject to results and funding. The Interim will lead the charity forward building on relationships, strategy and partnerships fostered by our outgoing CM. 

Our volunteer-led services have grown in the last decade to meet the growing needs of our community thanks to our dedicated volunteers and a forward thinking Board of Trustees and ambitious strategic plan.

The interim postholder will be expected to continue on from the work of the outgoing CM and undertake an indepth review of the business, working with the trustees on the next phase of our strategic plan and look for a bold funding and operating strategy.

To continue our good work and move VASA forward the apointee will be expected to:

• Identify growth opportunities for this service either geographically and/or by expanding the types of service offerings and ensure this is staffed to enable maximum growth.
• Maximise the newly installed transport support software to ensure that VASA is obtaining optimum benefit from it.
• Seek opportunities for expanding the dementia day services offering and the number of clients served.

As external grant funding is vital for VASA the appointee will be expected to:

• Work with the local authorities currently providing grant funding with the pupose of:
  • Making clear the value of the services VASA provides.
  • Securing, and if possible, increase the current level of funding.
• Seek other funding opportunities.

As financial security and governance is paramount to the charity the appointee must:

• Ensure full compliance (Charities Commission and Companies House).

Bridge College is the Together Trust’s specialist education college for students aged 16 to 25 years with disabilities, complex needs and autism. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Young People's Programmes Engagement Officer  to work as part of our National Programmes Delivery Team.

Our Young Peoples Programmes focus on mental health prevention by delivering upstream resilience building programmes to young people across the UK. Traditionally delivered through workshops in mainstream education and community-based settings, we have recently diversified our approach, and our focus is now on engaging and supporting young people from diverse and underserved communities.

Building on our existing programmes we have been through an extensive needs assessment and co-production phase which has provided us with the foundation to design evidence-based and culturally appropriate programmes.

How you will make a difference

• Regional landscaping to determine priority areas to offer all our programmes, focusing on our priority underserved groups

• Devise strategies to engage successfully in their region

• Utilise a range of communication tools to promote our programmes and raise their profile regionally

• Promote the programme with all key stakeholders in each region

• Engage with schools and community organisations to offer and deliver our programmes

• Book Training Associates and oversee deliveries, ensuring all relevant paperwork is in place.

Our client is looking for an experienced General Advice Officer to join their team in Stonebridge, London Borough of Brent. In this position, you'll provide high-quality welfare advice and guidance on a range of topics including benefits, housing, income maximisation, energy efficiency, and money management.
 
You'll also play a vital role in coordinating referral pathways, supporting advice volunteers, and demonstrating the impact of interventions in transforming the lives of beneficiaries.
 
This is an excellent role for someone who is exceptionally committed and willing to go the extra mile, with flexibility to work during evenings and weekends if necessary.
 
As the General Advice Officer, you'll have the chance to work on-site at least four days per week and be a key part of a team dedicated to supporting vulnerable people.

The Individual Giving Manager is responsible for all individual donor support processes, systems, strategies and individual giving fundraising appeals, which ensure we have excellent relationships with our donors to retain and grow our individual giving income. Powerful narratives, storytelling and engagement with donors is crucial to ensure that our funding need and impact is shared with supporters. 

The Individual Giving Manager will work with the Head of Fundraising and Deputy CEO to grow our major donor, regular giving, appeal and legacy income alongside sustaining our irregular giving and Gift Aid income. The Individual Giving Manager will line manage the Fundraising Assistant, which is a new entry-level fundraising role responsible for the development and day-to-day administration of our community fundraising income stream for individuals and our corporate community.

Person Specification Essential knowledge, skills and experience:

• Three years+ experience of working in a supporter care charity fundraising role.
• Understanding of fundraising principles, relationship marketing and supporter care.

• High level copy writing skills.
• Experience of working with communications staff to support multi-channel fundraising campaigns.
• Ability to work on your own initiative.Well-organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and targets.
• Good working knowledge of CRM databases and how to use them to steward supporters.
