Job Title: Research and Impact Lead
Contract type: Full time, 12 months maternity cover with the potential to extend

Location: Hybrid with a minimum of 8 office days per month in either our London or Leeds office. The post will require some UK travel for project work and events, particularly around the North of England

Job Summary
The Research and Impact Lead role brings scope for collaboration and creativity working closely with BookTrust colleagues, our partners and families, as part of a team of research and impact specialists. In this role we are looking for an experienced and motivated mixed methods researcher and evaluator, with excellent partnership, collaboration and communication skills. The role is likely to suit someone with experience of taking overall accountability for delivery of research and evaluation projects. We are seeking candidates with previous experience of place-based learning and evaluation or strong skills that would be transferable to this context, alongside a strong interest in developing expertise in place-based learning and evaluation.
We will provide excellent opportunities for the postholder to further develop their research, leadership and partnership skills in support of a fast changing, purpose driven national charity. We offer a flexible and supportive working environment and provide on-the-job learning and formal training.

The Role

The CAS Community Food Partnership is intended to support Food Projects (i.e., Foodbanks, Food Pantries, Top Up Shops, & Community Fridges to name a few) with capacity building and diversifying their operations – enabling them to support their communities and users, with overcoming challenges related to food and income insecurity. About the role
We are looking for two exceptional Heads of Philanthropy to join our team to significantly increase philanthropic income for faculty fundraising priorities across King’s College London.Within your application, please indicate which position you are applying to, or if you are happy to be considered for both positions.
One role will lead the Health, Science & Technology philanthropy team, and the other will lead the Arts & Social Sciences philanthropy team. We are looking for someone with a proven track-record of developing new, high value relationships, with experience of closing gifts at the six- and seven- figure level. They will need to demonstrate that they understand what is required to build and scale prospect portfolios. - Represent Brand, Communication and Entertainment at the Extended Leadership Team (ExLT), contributing to cross-charity strategy, insight sharing and project delivery.

Measurement & Insight
- Work with the Head of Insights and Innovation to develop and apply insights to inform strategic planning.

About the Role
Reporting to the People Director, the People Operations Manager will lead the development and delivery of people processes, systems, and administration. You'll manage the global HRIS (HiBob), oversee UK and international payroll, support UK pension and benefits, and ensure compliance with employment and immigration law.
You'll also manage the organisation's UK business sponsorship licence, contribute to strategic HR projects, and provide high-quality reporting and insights to internal stakeholders. While your primary focus will be UK operations, you'll also collaborate with country offices globally to improve efficiency and consistency.

Fuel expenses are paid, and travel time is included as part of your working hours. Core delivery time is usually within the school working day and during school term time only. All other working hours can be managed with flexibility by the post holder to ensure that meetings with partners and colleagues, plus administrative tasks, are completed as required. You will be expected to work at least four days a week.
