Campbell Rd Young Peoples service provides support and housing for 55 young people in Tower Hamlets that are either leaving care of affected by youth homelessness. The Support Worker role will be to manage a caseload of approx 7-10 young people.
This role's shift work on a 7 day rolling rota.
What you'll do:
- Building supportive, trusting relationships with customers
- Working proactively with other members of the team to handle the service caseload and administrative responsibilities
- Supporting key customers to set personalised goals in the form of a Support Plan
- Conducting regular key work sessions that are innovative and engaging in order to achieve Support Plan goals
- Ensuring ongoing assessment and management of risks associated with customers within an attitude of 'positive risk taking'
- Proactively manage risk and safety both in and outside of their physical living environment
- Providing support with daily living activities, including practical assistance where skills are not yet developed, to ensure that customers enjoy a high quality of accommodation
- Proactive development of links with local statutory and voluntary organisations to provide a range of engagement opportunities for customers in the community
- Involving customers in the design, development and delivery of the service
- Empowering customers to ensure they receive the service and benefits they are entitled to
- Encouraging and enabling tenants to pay their rent and ensure that rent accounts are managed effectively

About the role
As a Peer Support Worker, you will use your skills and experience to work directly with people with mental health issues in group and one to one settings. You will work with the Wellbeing Assessors and Team Leads to provide Wellbeing support to patients within their particular Primary Care Network (PCN). This part of the Solent Mind Wellbeing Service provides one to one wellbeing support within the GP practices, working alongside the wider Primary Mental Health & Wellbeing service.

- Location: Chandlers Ford PCN (GP surgeries within the Chandlers Ford Primary Care Network)
About you
You will need to have personal, lived experience of a mental health issue, as well as experience of working with people with mental health needs, excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of the key difficulties and challenges faced by people on their recovery journey

Peabody is launching a brand-new supported housing service in Lambeth for young people aged 19–25. We’re looking for a part-time Housing Support Worker to join this exciting new service and make a real difference in young people’s lives.
You’ll support young adults who have experienced homelessness, trauma, or complex life circumstances—including mental ill health, substance misuse, or time in care or the criminal justice system. This is your chance to help them build independence and a brighter future.
What you’ll be doing
- Providing one-to-one support to a small caseload of young people
- Supporting young people with life skills, goal setting, benefits, housing applications, and budgeting
- Developing and maintaining person-centred support plans and risk assessments
- Signposting to services such as mental health, substance misuse, and safeguarding support
- Recording accurate notes and actions using Microsoft Office and internal systems

Who we’re looking for
You’ll be someone who:
- Has experience working with young people in housing, youth work, or support roles

- Is available to work 18 hours a week across 7 days, including some weekends and bank holidays (this is essential and non-negotiable)

Project
The free Financial and Wellbeing Support Service in Epsom and Ewell combines the specialist mental health support with expert benefits and money advice from Citizens Advice Epsom & Ewell (CAEE) to support clients during a difficult time. This three-year project is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund.
The Role
• Increase financial resilience and independence.
• Improve overall mental and/or emotional wellbeing.
• Reduce stress and anxiety.
• Increase engagement with local community and local services
• Reduce social isolation.
• Help clients to feel more informed about how to manage finances and wellbeing in future.
Key responsibilities include:
• Work in partnership with the Citizens Advice to support people with their mental health who are experiencing financial difficulties.
• Manage a caseload of clients.
• Work with individuals and their carers around their mental health and social circumstances.
• Create a non-clinical person centred support plan around the individual, guided by the individual’s needs.
• Cultivate relationships with, and work with, other services around social wellbeing support for clients.
• Work with clients as the lead professional involved in their care, bridging to other services and opportunities and working closely with other organisations already involved.
• Aim to remove practical and physical barriers that arise from lack of resource at the community level.
• Assistance with accessing services (such as Community Connections).
• Advice, information, and signposting, including clear information about what support is available locally.
• Collecting reporting and monitoring data, providing case studies.
About You
You will have a minimum of 2 years community experience of mental health and wellbeing, and/or a qualification in appropriate subject i.e., counselling, psychology, social work, mental health, Health and Social Care (level 3)
Knowledge & Skills:
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team (statutory and voluntary)
• An understanding of confidentiality, consent, information sharing, including GDPR.
• An understanding of Safeguarding policy and practice.
• Good communication and written skills and a commitment to ensure accurate and confidential record keeping.
• Ability to interact effectively with the clients, colleagues and other professionals whilst retaining clear boundaries.
• Ability to work to all the policies, procedures, and standards of the service and joint working arrangements with statutory and voluntary sector partners.

About the role:

The Role

Change can sometimes be hard so you could face behaviours that challenge, your patient and assertive nature will make sure this doesn’t escalate and make sure there are positive outcomes consistently.
There’s still time for fun though, as you will also support and encourage activities such as sports, crafts, and social events.
Working Hours
Working on a rota basis means you will need to be flexible over a 7-day rota. Our service operates 24/7, however day shifts are either 08:00 – 15:30 or 14:30 – 22:00. There will be the option to pick up nights on occasion, for which our night enhancement rates will apply.
