The successful candidate will be expected to based/work from Cumbria or the Scottish borders travel across the region will be required, for which you will need to use your own car. A mileage allowance will be paid. This is a part time post.

As Social Media Coordinator, you will live and breathe all things social media, understanding its potential contribution to achieving our mission.

You'll lead all activities across our Facebook, X, Instagram, Threads, YouTube, and LinkedIn, as well as keeping an eye out for opportunities elsewhere on social media. Who you are:

You are passionate about The Humane League’s mission of ending the abuse of animals raised for food. With an attention to detail and strong written and verbal communications skills in English, you’ll have a keen eye for persuasive and punchy copy and an ability to adapt your tone of voice.

You’ll be able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that you meet deadlines and communicate internally.

You’ll have experience of digging into the data, using analytics to assess results, gain learnings, and action those learnings to improve channel performance. You understand what audiences want to see from different channels, and how to get cut through and reach attention on each one.

You are a whizz with editing tools and can create compelling, dynamic video and static content that hooks people in and keeps them watching.

You’ll be comfortable reacting to opportunities nimbly and being proactive in looking for stories to tell about our work, seeing every interaction as an opportunity. 

You’ll be willing to be the face of the organisation on social media, ensuring that you have a good working knowledge of our issues and campaigns in order to motivate support for them.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ownership of our social media channels; regularly testing, creating, and posting content that is tailored to each platform, using each channel’s features to maximise impact towards our goals.

• Planning and building social media campaigns that strategically integrate goals and consider metrics.

• Updating the communications calendar.

• Create inspiring concepts and develop these into compelling, on-brand, platform-specific content using tools like Canva and Adobe Express.

• Social media community management including moderating and responding to comments and messages to ensure people feel valued, engaged, and we are building strong relationships with supporters and potential supporters.

• Regularly monitoring social trends to create topical content.

• Using tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook insights, and Sprout Social to report on post and channel performance, monitoring and evaluating success against goals on a monthly basis.

• Contribute to or initiate the development and improvement of processes that improve delivery and collaboration.

• Keep up to date with new features and tech related to social media platforms, as well as other organisations’ activity, to ensure the most engaging and effective content.

As an organisation we work a four day work week. This is a full time position of 30 hours per week over Monday to Thursday.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following stroke. We’re looking for an innovative, passionate professional, whose values match the organisations, can think independently and is open to a coaching style of management, to join the Stroke Recovery Services based in West Norfolk.

The Role

The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers whose lives are affected by aphasia, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes. A key part of the role will be to support service users and the delivery of the service.

Reporting to the Stroke Service Delivery Coach, the Stroke Support Coordinator will:

• Supporting new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.
• Provide personalised information, advice and support.
• Enable stroke survivors to make informed lifestyle changes, which will help them to prevent further strokes.
• Work with other health and social care professionals across the stroke pathway to ensure high quality support.

About You

Knowledge, skills and experience you will ideally have:

• Background in a caring profession, ideally supporting people with disabilities.

About the Role

The main responsibilities for this role are to maintain and improve Salesforce for the delivery and monitoring of activities, including delivery of the programme, volunteer recruitment, and partnerships management.

The system is optimised to serve the specific needs of the organisation and is intensively used by frontline staff and management on a daily basis. The organisation has an ongoing service agreement with ImpactBox, a Salesforce development company, for more significant development work. The platform is also integrated with Moodle, to allow management and monitoring of online learning for students.

You will have full oversight of the system and will support the team to make ongoing changes to functionality to achieve its goals. This would involve both independently updating the system (making reports, adding/changing fields, creating custom objects, creating and maintaining flows, user management etc.) and/or forwarding requirements to ImpactBox or your line manager if the development requirements are more significant. You will manage and assign user requests to the correct resource, being the first point of contact for all requests, and working cooperatively with staff members to ensure that needs are met.

About You

We are looking for someone with excellent project management skills and experience of:

· Analysing data in Excel and translating it into useful information for different audiences.

· Implementing, configuring, or administering solutions for Salesforce.

· Salesforce administration: Ability to manage and maintain user accounts, profiles, roles, and permissions.

· Reporting and dashboards: Knowledge of how to configure and maintain custom report types, reports, and dashboards

· Customisation and configuration: Ability to configure, build, and maintain custom Salesforce functionality including custom objects, fields, page layouts, process builders, flows, and workflows

· Data cleaning: Good knowledge of Excel to cleanse and analyse data (knowledge of Power Query)

JOB PURPOSE

To improve the provision of consistent high-quality debt advice, enhancing the experience of clients, by working collaboratively with delivery suppliers, to support them in implementing improvement activities, and in assessing and monitoring the quality of debt advice.

To support the implementation and ongoing facilitation of project quality assurance and improvement processes, working collaboratively with the EMMA management team to inform and support contract compliance and performance management activities.

To identify good practice and share learning with delivery suppliers, and across roles within MaPS and across all funded services to support improvement and development of advice services.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver individual strategic projects/business plan objectives for the team

Work with debt advice providers on an individual basis to improve the provision of consistent and high-quality debt advice, by supporting suppliers to implement improvement activities, and to assess and monitor the performance of their advisers and debt advice service overall to ensure that the quality of debt advice is improved where required, maintained and provided in accordance with regulation, project requirements, best practice, and agreed standards.  This includes:

• Working in collaboration with suppliers to make tailored recommendations and providing feedback to improve the quality of debt advice and client experience in a delivery supplier as appropriate, and identify good practice, where applicable

• Measuring and analysing information gathered against risk ratings, quality frameworks and standards and liaising with delivery suppliers to agree improvement action plans using the results of assessments and analysis

• Liaising with delivery suppliers about the practical arrangements required to carry out the monitoring of their work and improvement plans and ensure understanding of the service improvement process

• Supporting, where appropriate, the implementation of any follow on/corrective action following the assessment and /or support visits/file reviews.

Support participants internal and external quality assurance, quality related grant requirements and quality improvement schemes by:

• Ensuring delivery partners and advisers understand the objectives of the service and quality requirements.

• Facilitating the smooth application of the quality improvement process as required by LCALC and/ or the funder including writing guidance documents, regular liaison with the delivery suppliers and answering ad hoc queries.

Project compliance and quality requirements are achieved by:

• Ensuring delivery suppliers have a good awareness and understanding of the quality and service delivery requirements through communications and active involvement in the delivery of EMMA events related to quality improvement.

• Providing support and advice to delivery suppliers and other internal colleagues on the quality requirements and service delivery standards.

• Providing support with delivery and quality compliance and performance management activities, including active involvement in performance enhancement plans as appropriate.

We’re looking for a multitalented Digital Marketing Officer who has a passion and skill for creating captivating and emotionally driven content, who can also support fundraising campaigns and drive optimisation through user feedback and data analysis. You’ll be confident with writing copy for websites and newsletters, creating social media posts, and working with design tools to produce digital materials that inspire people to donate, support, and champion our cause.

This is a new and significant role for our charity, offering the chance to contribute fresh ideas and see the direct results of your work. You’ll be joining a highly supportive, creative and digitally literate team committed to using digital innovation to help ensure every child, no matter their circumstance, has access to impactful food, farming and nature-based education.

This role involves travel and occasional overnight stays (with mileage reimbursed) across England and North Wales. While we prioritise the use of public transport this is not always feasible. Therefore, a valid driving licence is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
 

Collect and Curate Impact Content

• Create compelling, emotionally resonant stories and visual content that demonstrate our impact, working closely with colleagues to ensure all materials are brand-aligned, accessible, and consistent in tone and style.

Design Campaign Materials and Reports

• Deliver digital campaigns by tailoring communications for key donor audiences, continually testing to optimise reach and engagement.

Digital Communications Oversight

• Manage social media content in partnership with the Digital Manager, using analytics to optimise performance and identifying emerging digital trends to enhance supporter engagement and income.
• Collaborate across teams to improve supporter journeys and digital engagement, while motivating ambassadors and influencers to amplify our reach and grow income.
