The Finance Manager is responsible to the Executive Director and responsible for:

1. Ensure Financial Sustainability—Develop and implement financial strategies that support the organization's long-term sustainability, aligning budgets with the charity's mission and strategic goals.
2. Strengthen Financial Governance and Compliance - Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, charity law, and donor requirements, including timely preparation of statutory accounts and audit processes.
3. Enhance Financial Planning and Budgeting - Lead the annual budgeting process and long-term financial planning, providing accurate forecasting, financial modelling, and scenario planning to support leadership decisions.
4. Optimise Resource Allocation - Provide insight and analysis to guide the efficient use of funds, ensuring that resources are directed to the most impactful programs and services.
5. Develop Transparent Financial Reporting—To build trust and demonstrate accountability, deliver timely and transparent financial reports to stakeholders, including the ED, trustees, donors, and regulators.
6. Support Fundraising and Donor Stewardship - Partner with fundraising teams to manage restricted funds, track grant expenditures, and support financial reporting to funders, ensuring alignment with donor expectations.
7. Promote Financial Literacy and Capacity building - Build financial awareness and capacity across the organization by training non-financial staff and ensuring budget holders understand and manage their financial responsibilities effectively.
8. Risk Management and Contingency Planning - Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies, including establishing reserves and contingency plans for economic uncertainties or funding shortfalls.

Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London.  All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment. 

We are recruiting Employment Advisors to join our IPS service, you will be based in Enfield, working 35 hours per week. The service has been awarded the IPS Grow quality mark and adheres closely to the principles of the IPS model in supporting people in to employment. This role will be working with clients who have mental health support needs, wanting to gain paid employment. 

Experience of employment support is not essential, it is more important that you share our passion and commitment to employment as an integral aspect of wellbeing and supporting people to find the right job for them. You will receive training on the IPS model and in supporting people with mental health issues. We welcome applications from people with lived experience of mental health, either personally or through a close contact.

You need to have a desire to support people to achieve their employment goals, and the ability to multitask and manage your workload effectively. Good organisation skills are essential for this role, in addition to an interest in mental health, and the role it plays in the workplace. The successful candidate will need to become comfortable in approaching employers, and showcase the advantages of our service in order to work with them to recruit our clients to fill vacancies and sustain employment.

You will work with clients (managing a caseload) who have mental health support needs, to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment in line with their preferences. You will deliver the IPS approach (for which training will be given); providing person centred support and guidance to clients, whilst building positive relationships with local employers to enable clients to move into suitable employment.

You will work as part of a mental health team (NHS Trust) maintaining positive and integrated relationships, fostering a holistic approach to recovery through employment. You will work closely with clinical teams, providing a coordinated approach that always remains client led.  You will also be working to targets whilst maintaining a high-quality service.

Elders Voice is a charity supporting older people in the London Borough of Brent. Job Summary

To contribute to our Income Team's purpose by implementing the Philanthropic income strategy, and working to secure new six figure trusts and foundations through high quality applications and reporting.

Main Responsibilities 

• To manage the Philanthropy Officer role, and plan a rolling programme of prospect research for new major donors and trusts and foundations at all levels of funding across the year.
• Developing high quality applications and proposals for potential donors and funders, utilising your strong writing skills.
• Working with the Data Insight Team and Clinical Team to utilise Shout insight and clinical research to develop a strong narrative for MHI services
• Providing effective and successful stewardship and relationship management to a portfolio of high value funders, including annual funder reports and inputting to quarterly funder newsletters and communications.
• Work with other voluntary organisations to maximise joint fundraising when appropriate opportunities arise
• To work with the CEO and Director of Income on the identification, cultivation and stewardship of high value and potential high values supporters across income streams
• As the Senior Fundraising Manager sits within the Income team, the role will build relationships with all members of the team, providing regular updates, working with the Director of Income to share information to the wider organisation and meeting the professional standards of representing MHI to external parties.
• To work with the Philanthropy Officer to continuously improve stewardship processes, working to re-pledge funding, whilst assisting one another in strengthening applications to new potential funders
• To coordinate and maintain relationships with multiple high value funders and assist the Director of Income in creating and maintaining an efficient process for this.
• To work with the Director of Income to coordinate and maintain all contractual relationships. Working with the data team to calendar reporting requirements to ensure proactive stewardship and relationship management.
• To work with Income Team members to ensure all internal reporting is highlighted and processed on a regular basis. This will include updating the organisational CRM for reporting purposes.
• To work closely with the Director of Income and Marketing Team to provide regular communications to funder portfolio
• To undertake regular prospect research to continue to grow the pool of high value major donor and trust and foundation prospects
• To use strong written skills to complete applications for new trust and foundation funding opportunities
• To use strong written and verbal skills to provide written reporting to current funders, whilst organising face to face/virtual meetings for funding updates alongside the Director of Income or CEO
• To develop, review and maintain an efficient and effective record keeping system, including current and archived files and files of a confidential nature, using appropriate paper and electronic systems.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Dementia UK as Senior Mass Participation Manager. Leading a team of nine, you’ll be responsible for delivering a successful strategy and operational plan for virtual events and mass participation products, ensuring sustainable growth and impact.

Working within the Fundraising team, this role involves driving the development of engaging campaigns that increase supporter numbers and income, all while providing an excellent supporter experience. Collaboration across the charity is key to ensuring the programme runs efficiently, with decisions informed by data, supporter insights and market trends to help identify opportunities.

In partnership with the Head of Mass Participation, you will help shape and deliver the programme’s strategy, develop and monitor the annual budget and report on performance with clear analysis of any variances. The role also includes leading the creation and delivery of an insight-led marketing strategy.

To be successful in this role, you will have significant experience in mass participation fundraising and virtual events, with a strong track record of growing income. Confidence in setting and managing large budgets, reporting on KPIs and adjusting plans as necessary is essential. An understanding of supporter and stakeholder needs is vital, with the ability to use insight to shape effective communications and stewardship. You’ll also be an experienced team leader who can motivate and guide others to deliver results.

Would you like to make a positive difference to the lives of survivors of torture? Do you have experience of coordinating clinical services delivery to marginalised groups in a community setting?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Team Manager to work with an innovative and friendly multidisciplinary team at our purpose built London Centre and gardens. You will manage and coordinate a team of highly skilled and dedicated clinicians, in the service delivery of a range of NICE guideline recommended therapy interventions, offered to our clients, who are survivors of torture and organised violence.

You will report to the Head of Clinical Services, London and operate as an integral part of the London Clinical Services Team. This is an exciting chance to join us as we place survivor empowerment and movement building at the heart of our four year strategy, and work together to increase the number of clients who can access our services. It is based in a centre specifically designed to be a safe and welcoming environment for survivors and includes gardens and growing facilities.

About the role

This is a wide-ranging position, and your key areas of responsibility will include:

• To manage a multi-disciplinary team, including paid staff and volunteers from different professions and disciplines and provide professional and clinical supervision to qualified clinicians and trainees in the service including, clinical/counselling psychologists. This role may also include providing remote clinical supervision to clinicians in our other regional centres (North West England and Scotland).
• To ensure that Freedom from Torture's clinical model continues to be fully rolled out, with particular emphasis on survivor empowerment and evidence-based practice for addressing PTSD and other mental health impacts of torture.
• Championing people development as well as influence delivery of evidenced -based practice, clinical standards, quality initiatives and audit based services.
• To formulate and negotiate psychological treatment and management plans for referred clients and to provide psychological treatment for a small caseload, using a range of specialist psychological interventions appropriate to the service in line with the new clinical model "Pathways" (drawing on a range of evidence-based models for the presenting problems of the clients).
• Being an effective role model and leader to encourage, develop and enhance skills of others.

About you

This is an important role within Freedom from Torture. To be successful in this role you must have a high level of commitment to maintaining excellent standards of client care and service delivery. It is a key requirement that you must have knowledge of appropriate clinical standards and external regulatory bodies. You must also have sound financial awareness and experience of balancing the provision of quality care against budgetary parameters.

To be considered for this role you must be a Psychologist registered with HCPC and have qualified with a doctorate or equivalent in either clinical or counselling psychology. You must have professional experience of working with clients with complex PTSD and have post-qualification experience of using evidence-based trauma focused therapy models. It is essential that you have a clear understanding of the experience of refugees and people seeking asylum, both in terms of pre-flight experience and the experience of living in exile. You must have previous management and supervision experience and be able to provide demonstrable examples of how you have successfully led and influenced clinical teams within community or health care settings.
