Our client is a user-led pan-disability charity operating primarily in Buckinghamshire. They are a successful, dynamic and influential charity, focused on supporting disabled people by fixing the biggest issues facing them. They aim to build a world which is Fair4All, including disabled people.

Salary Range: £31,000 - £34,000 FTE depending on experience

The role:

The primary purpose of the Project Operations Manager role is to provide leadership to ensure that their project work is delivered successfully, to agreed targets, on time and within agreed budgets.

Responsibilities:

• To take charge of and lead their projects, and the staff and volunteers working on them. Ensure project work is delivered successfully, to agreed targets, on time and within agreed budgets. This includes project reporting, overseeing and managing website, media, online and other communications activities related projects, and managing project budgets.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of their Operational Plan.
• With the Trustee Board and grants team, support the revival of appropriate dormant projects and the creation of new projects. Contribute to and endorse grant applications and ensure funder targets and goals are met.

• With the Support Manager, positively influence the culture within their to ensure it remains an inclusive, diverse and effective working community and continue the charity’s policy of highly supportive and positive management of staff and volunteers, ensuring that their Values are upheld.
• Contribute to ensuring effective welfare and safeguarding policies are in place that are understood and regularly communicated to volunteers and employees.
• Ensure they deliver excellent customer service, so that service users, external organisations and partners receive high-quality service and support; and ensure any complaints or issues are managed promptly and satisfactorily resolved.

About you:

They are seeking an experienced charity operations and/or projects manager who can bring skills, expertise and knowledge into their rapidly expanding charity.

Essential skills and experience:

• Previous experience of successfully managing UK charity or not-for profit projects and/or services, including financial and budgetary controls.
• A track record of proactive success in achieving project and service goals and outcomes.
• Previous experience of successfully managing staff and, ideally, volunteers.
• A proven ability to effectively plan and manage a mixed portfolio of tasks and activities, including managing your own time effectively.

Desirable skills and experience:

• A highly supportive management style which removes barriers for disabled staff and volunteers to allow them to work in ways which are most effective for them.
• Knowledge of project management tools.

Our client works by permanently removing barriers facing disabled people and finding answers to the big issues facing them, alongside helping individuals. Their projects and partnerships deliver unique and lasting change and effective support that helps nearly all the 41,000 disabled people in Buckinghamshire – plus many beyond their county.

Uniquely, they are mainly voluntary charity. They have over 150 volunteers, mostly disabled people, supported by a small staff team, who themselves run their projects and services. Many of their volunteers are jobseekers or needing help to move forward in their lives and they actively support them by the way we work.

As Data and Insights Manager, you will make sure our system remains fit for purpose and help turn data into meaningful insights that can inform decision-making.

Duties and responsibilities 

Salesforce and systems development

• Collaborate with external Salesforce development consultants to continue building our system capabilities and design.
• Design and oversee the collection of stakeholder, tutoring delivery, quality assurance and evaluation data, working with colleagues to ensure data is collected in a timely, accurate and consistent manner.

Team leadership and support

• Line manage the Data Lead, ensuring their work is of high quality and they have clear development objectives.
• Plan and oversee training and support for the whole organisation on the effective use of Salesforce, developing their understanding of the purpose and value of data.

Data insights

• Support the Head of Impact and Quality to generate insights from data to inform evidence-based decision-making across departments, including through dashboards.

• Data governance

• Champion data security and GDPR compliance across the organisation, including contributing to the upkeep of privacy notices, responding to queries, and facilitating stakeholder GDPR rights.
• Any other reasonable tasks as per the request of the CEO.

As Project Manager, you’ll lead key aspects of the Grass Pitch Programme, working with national governing bodies and stakeholders to improve the quality and sustainability of grass pitches. You’ll also deliver a nationwide volunteer strategy, helping to recruit, train, and retain volunteers who maintain vital community pitches. This role blends programme delivery, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement at the highest level.

In this role, you’ll manage multi-sport capital and revenue investment plans, build strong relationships with NGBs, County FAs, and delivery teams, and lead the development of a robust volunteer Groundskeeper strategy. You’ll coordinate project timelines, budgets, KPIs, and risks, while using data to drive continuous improvement.

Job Summary

The purpose of this role is to provide sound financial management for the Association and CET through:

• Statutory financial reporting in line with Charity SORP/UK GAAP, including annual returns to Companies House and the Charity Commission

• Management accounting, reporting and analysis to funders, management, staff, and Trustees/Directors

• Preparation and maintenance of budgets, forecasts and plans, including cashflows and project budgets

• Supervision and control of day-to-day accounting transactions, including oversight of the finance aspects of the Apprentice role

• Oversight and implementation of robust financial systems, policies, and procedures

• Responsible for financial queries, working with the Apprentice as first point of contact for external contacts
   

Main Duties

• Supervise day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial record keeping, including coding, allocations, reconciliations, and tax accounting

• Oversee invoice generation and debt recovery processes

• Process payments and staff expenses for authorisation

• Produce regular management accounts on an accruals basis, providing interpretation and advice to the Executive Team, Finance & Risk Committee, Trustees/Directors, and funders

• Lead on budget preparation and forecasting, including project-specific budgets; monitor and reforecast as needed

• Prepare statutory accounts in compliance with charity SORP and liaise with external auditors and the Treasurer

• Manage contracts with financial services providers, including bookkeepers, auditors, banks, and investment managers

• Attend AfCE and CET Board meetings

• Fulfil company secretarial duties, including:

  • Filing confirmation statements and annual accounts for ACE and CET with Companies House and Charity Commission

  • Filing changes in Trustees/Directors

• Complete Arts Council England (ACE) returns, including provision of financial information for quarterly payment processes when required

• Negotiate and implement insurance policies including:

  • Life assurance

About the Role
 
Responsibilities of the role comprise:
 
Campaign planning

• Lead the delivery of an ambitious and creative media and campaign strategy to bring about an improved recognition of the value and impact of youth work.
• Lead on other campaign strategy and planning, utilising a range of campaign tactics integrating media, digital media and other campaign tactics, working closely with other members of the Comms team and across Directorates.
• Oversee campaign activity for the annual Youth Work Week, to ensure the campaign engages key opinion formers and provides an opportunity for those within the sector to celebrate the impactful work they do.
• Analyse campaign effectiveness, including setting and tracking metrics across digital and traditional media.
• Ensure campaign plans are fully scoped and uploaded to the online project management system.

Press Office function

• Lead proactive media monitoring, enabling timely responses to significant developments and tracking positions on issues relating to NYA’s work.
• Develop key messages and positioning statements on issues in the youth sector and NYA’s activities, role and stance and promote consistency of messaging across NYA’s channels.
• Managing and responding to reactive media enquiries, providing statement and reactive ‘lines to take’, with the support of the Head of Communications

As Voice 21 embarks on its ambitious next five-year strategy, we are looking to strengthen our team with a talented and ambitious Fundraising Manager. Your role will support the Head of Fundraising, CEO and wider team to develop new sources of high value support for Voice 21, working flexibly across trusts and foundations, corporate and philanthropic fundraising.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a knack for identifying funding opportunities and discovering new prospects. With excellent research, communication and relationship-building skills, you’ll work collaboratively with senior colleagues to strengthen our pipeline and drive long term growth in voluntary income. You’ll also contribute your ideas and initiative to develop and deliver compelling engagement opportunities for current and potential supporters, and lead on reporting impact to funders. Ultimately the post-holder is expected to grow in this role, to manage their own portfolio of high value donors.

The Head of Fundraising has been in post just over a year, and has put solid foundations in place to support long term growth. With a healthy pipeline already developed for the current and next financial year, you’ll have plenty of lead time to find your feet, with a realistic (shared) fundraising target of securing c.£500K of new voluntary income in 2027. There is significant untapped potential in fundraising for Voice 21. Key responsibilities

• Research and develop a qualified pipeline of trust/foundation and corporate prospects to ensure we achieve voluntary income targets in 2027/28 and beyond.

Essential knowledge and skills

• Previous high value fundraising experience (trusts and foundations, corporates or philanthropy), with a track record of successfully securing significant donations and achieving income targets.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain a varied workload, deliver to deadlines, and successfully manage multiple work streams and projects.

• Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, with the confidence and evidenced ability to be able to nurture and maintain successful relationships with high value external stakeholders and senior colleagues.

Where you’ll work: All Voice 21 staff work remotely and this is a home-based role. Regular travel to our central London office (by Victoria station) is expected for meetings. Regular travel to visit our projects in schools and/or to meet funders will also be expected. Occasional overnight stays may be required too. Voice 21 pays travel and accommodation expenses. The package of salary and expenses will be considered when agreeing a starting salary with the successful candidate.

As a capable team leader, the Media and Communications Manager provides expert guidance to staff and partners, is comfortable coordinating and facilitating working groups and supports the leadership of people living with and affected by HIV. They also work with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure that media and communications strategies are aligned and complementary with other organisational strategies and priorities.

As with all STOPAIDS staff, and in partnership with the CEO and the Director for Development & Engagement, they will work to ensure the sustainability of the organisation by contributing 10% of their time to fundraising (to support with application and report writing) and other advocacy support.

 Key Areas of  Responsibility

Clinical strategy and plans for growth

• Have responsibility for the strategic development of TTI’s clinical team, clinical delivery and clinical outcomes, to meet TTI’s ambitious and transformational Strategy 2025-2030.
• Provide clinical leadership to the development of TTI’s strategic vision and annual delivery planning, models of service delivery, standards and clinical governance.
• Support and enable partners, service users and especially those with lived experience to inform TTI’s clinical service design, delivery and evaluation and to engage in communications and research activities in a way that is psychologically safe and follows principles of trauma-informed practice.
• Manage TTI’s clinical capacity and skills, and oversee the growth and development of the team, including recruiting, supervising and managing workload/ assignment of internal staff, associates and external multi-disciplinary team to ensure the organisation’s ability to meet service demand.
• Develop and implement strategies to actively promote diversity in the clinical team and champion culturally sensitive approaches to trauma treatment through research, partnerships and new projects.
• Liaise directly and regularly with TTI’s Trustee with responsibility for clinical oversight, and provide regular reports to the Board of Trustees to support strategic decision-making and risk oversight.
• Oversee the smooth running and effectiveness of specialist clinical advisory groups (clinical advisory groups, research advisory groups and project advisory groups) for TTI that meet the strategic requirements of the organisation and build the evidence base, engage experts and build the reputation and scope of TTI’s work with professionals, networks and sectors in the UK and internationally.
• Take a lead in developing clinical research opportunities, identify opportunities to develop Quality Improvement Projects and disseminate learning internally and externally in collaboration with the communications team.
• Build relationships with Clinical Leads in organisations with shared aims, to build TTI’s relationships and opportunities for partnership and project working.
• Lead the design of internal wellbeing policies and activities and embed trauma-informed knowledge and skills across the organisation, including with clinical and non-clinical staff and trustees.

Delivery of Clinical Services

• Drive TTI’s clinical delivery, in line with TTI’s overarching strategic objectives, including setting long-term and annual objectives and KPIs, within the context of clinical evidence- based best practice, trauma informed principles, participation of those with lived experience and budgetary, donor and risk-management requirements.
• Oversee the development and implementation of TTI’s clinical treatment pathways for survivors of torture, trafficking, slavery and violent conflict or those affected by vicarious trauma or burnout through their work in human rights, including:
  • up to date and evidence based clinical pathways for the main clinical presentations we see at TTI
  • robust assessment, formulation, treatment and ending processes
  •  robust partnership agreements with organisations referring people to TTI for clinical treatment.
• Develop and refine TTI’s clinical services in response to community needs and local/global events, in line with TTI’s strategy, including for working in international communities affected by violent conflict.
• Maintain an appropriate clinical caseload.
• Deliver services to TTI’s organisational clients, (including organisational reviews, trauma training, 1:1 professional consultations, critical incident support), especially to pilot, test and quality control these aspects of TTI’s delivery.
• Support gaps in clinical team capacity as required to ensure smooth running of delivery and excellence of service to our individual and organisational clients.
• Support internal processes led by the fundraising team to design new projects and develop grant applications in order to grow the reach and impact of TTI’s work.
• Support the development of international projects and partnerships and oversee the safe delivery of international work, whether in person or online, in collaboration with the Projects and Partnerships Lead.
• Attend conferences and networks of psychologists in order to learn and embed TTI’s clinical reputation and access to learning and dissemination.

Quality Assurance and Evaluation

• Deliver an evidence-based and continuous evaluation culture and promote internal reflection and learning.
• Maintain and further develop a robust framework for quality assurance and evaluation of TTI’s clinical activities, including engagement of clients, service users and those with lived experience.
• Oversee the consistent use of evidence based clinical measures and ensure robust processes to monitor, evaluate, learn and report on the quality and impact of TTI’s clinical activities and outcomes.
• Support the transition of TTI’s clinical team and associates onto client management software,  with a focus on good data, confidentiality and consistency of adoption.
• Ensure that all systems and processes for storing, managing and reporting on clinical/client data provide robust confidentiality, security and meet TTI’s policies and legal frameworks including Data Protection Act 1998, Caldicott principles.
• Provide regular, timely and accurate data on TTI’s clinical activities and outcomes, to contribute to reports for donors, communications campaigns and annual impact reports and as required throughout the calendar year.
• Provide quarterly performance reports to the CEO and Clinical Trustee on clinical performance, based on clinical data and input from the clinical team and attend Board meetings as requested to report on clinical delivery.
• Oversee TTI’s processes for gathering and responding to feedback from clients and service users, and manage formal and informal complaints relating to the delivery of clinical delivery with the CEO.

Clinical Risk and Safeguarding

• Hold delegated authority from the Board for TTI’s clinical risk management, including engagement in TTI’s Risk-Management Sub-Committee, driving implementation of risk-management and mitigation actions relating to clinical delivery and leading TTI’s monthly internal QSP meetings.
• Feed into internal annual policy review processes, as they relate to clinical delivery, risk management and compliance with clinical duties and trauma-informed practice.
• Be the Safeguarding Lead for TTI, escalating to the Senior Safeguarding Leads as required and ensure processes are in place to meet TTI’s Safeguarding Policy and procedures within the clinical team and associates.

People Management

• Line manage and supervise senior clinical staff and provide support in their duties to manage and supervise their direct reports.
• Notice and respond appropriately to any performance management issues.
• Organise CPD opportunities for internal staff and associates. Oversee the Head of Treatment Services in delivering peer support for internal staff and associates. Update staff of any relevant changes in professional guidance.  
• Support the wellbeing of the clinical team and embed a culture of self-care, trauma-informed practice and delivery excellence.
• Take up monthly external supervision provided by TTI.
• Identify skills gaps and strategies to fill these across the clinical function, within budgetary constraints and maximising access to and sharing of internal knowledge and expertise.

Personal Specification

 Essential Criteria

• HCPC registered psychologist who has completed Post Graduate doctoral level training in counselling or clinical psychology.
• Minimum 5 years post registration experience working within mental health services.
• Managerial and leadership experience
• Clinical experience across the life span of individuals
• Up to date knowledge and experience of working with clients with PTSD, complex PTSD, survivors of human rights abuses, such as torture, and/or war related trauma and/or asylum seekers.

About the role

This role provides tactical and targeted support to our District teams as we seek to enable our volunteers to deliver training to both cadets and volunteers in line with the Sea Cadets Learning Strategy.  This post is responsible for supporting the delivery of the district training, including Royal Marine Cadet (RMC) training activity at Troop level. About the role

Working in close collaboration with the Senior Mass Fundraising Lead, the role will manage and deliver a variety of community-led fundraising initiatives and dynamic challenge events that engage supporters and generate vital unrestricted funds for children affected by neuroblastoma.

The role focuses on building strong relationships with fundraisers, volunteers and ambassadors, providing guidance, support and motivation to help them surpass their fundraising goals. The Community and Challenge Events Fundraising Manager will both steward existing and reactive contacts, as well as be confident in securing new networks, including representing the charity in presentations and other public speaking opportunities.

This role comes at an exciting time of growth in the fundraising team, with new colleagues joining the charity and a team focused on growth of income over the coming years. This role is crucial in this plan and will take the existing community and events programme to new heights.

• A proven track record of being results-driven and working to and achieving fundraising targets

As a Quality Review Partner, you’ll play a pivotal role in upholding and advancing these standards. You’ll guide expert review teams in delivering independent, evidence-based evaluations, and produce focused reports and action plans that drive meaningful improvement.

What you’ll do:

• Act as the designated Quality Review Partner for a portfolio of imaging services across the UK.
• Provide expert guidance to QSI leads on both the review process and the standards.
• Manage the full review cycle for services in your portfolio.
• Select and coordinate review team members in collaboration with the Quality Improvement Coordinator.
