About The Role

Place2Be is looking for an Education Partnerships Manager to lead relationships with Multi Academy Trusts (MATs) and key partners, ensuring high-quality mental health services across schools. Acting as the main liaison, you’ll oversee service delivery, monitor performance, analyse impact data, and drive improvements. The role involves building strong partnerships, coordinating onboarding, supporting contract adherence, and identifying opportunities for growth. We’re seeking someone with proven experience in partnership or account management, strong stakeholder skills, and a deep understanding of the English education system and MATs. 

Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with MAT leaders, funders, and internal teams.
• Oversee service delivery and ensure compliance with Place2Be’s Clinical Delivery Model.
• Analyse data and produce impact reports using tools such as Power BI.
• Act as the first point of contact for MAT schools and coordinate review meetings.
• Support contract adherence and onboarding of new schools.
• Identify opportunities for service development and lead training initiatives.
• Represent Place2Be at senior-level meetings and engagement events.

Aston-Mansfield is a charity with a rich history of supporting children, young people, and families in East London since 1884. Based in Manor Park, the organisation focuses on four key areas: children and families, youth empowerment, mental health and well-being, and community development. 

Our work with young people includes training workshops, mentoring, youth-led heritage programmes, and other initiatives that help young people build confidence, develop decision-making skills, foster social inclusion, and improve well-being. We are passionate about amplifying youth voices, encouraging young people to join our board as Young Trustees and take on paid Young Facilitator roles to develop their leadership and delivery skills. 

Our two most current young adult programmes include: The Heritage Lottery programme second year delivery:  

New Voices for Old Stories is our youth-led heritage project which supports young people in investigating our heritage and the heritage of the area and reframing old stories from the past 100 years into new voices. 

Newly funded Reaching Communities programme:  

Breaking Boundaries Collective: Aims to reduce loneliness and isolation and build stronger relationships across different communities. At the same time, the project will focus on increasing the social mobility of young people from disadvantaged and low socioeconomic backgrounds. This will be achieved by employing 16 Young Facilitators in key leadership roles as well as engaging 160 young people as Changemakers, providing training and development through learning days and Action Learning Sets using external free lancers. 

This programme will have an integrated and community-focused approach, alongside the development of Young Facilitators to lead the project. Breaking Boundaries Collective will build on Aston-Mansfield's existing work and create a safer, happier, and more connected Newham for young people and the wider community.

We are looking to recruit 2 Family Services Outreach Practitioners to provide intensive support for families with children living in temporary accommodation (TA) in London, ensuring their stay in TA is as short, safe, and healthy as possible. These are new and exciting roles in our Family Services team that will build genuine, positive, and trusting relationships with families, through both 1-1 work with parents and whole-family activities that will build togetherness and resilience. You will also conduct in-depth assessments with families referred to the project, identifying areas where parents and children need support and then helping them to feel confident, settled, and supported in their local community – e.g., by researching local resources and amenities, accompanying families to activities, and supporting them to become more independent. Additionally, you will assist the Team Leader and Evaluation and Learning Manager with the project’s co-production work, including supporting the management of an advisory panel of parents with lived experience of homelessness who will be co-designing interventions.

We are seeking a strategic, data-driven, and solutions-oriented Marketing Manager to lead the optimisation of our supporter engagement systems and data-driven marketing operations in the UK.

What the job involves

We’re looking for a Customer Research Manager to join us on a fixed-term contract to cover parental leave for 12 months. This is a key role in our Customer Analysis and Insight team, helping us build deeper, more meaningful relationships with our supporters and with men with prostate cancer.

You’ll lead on quantitative and qualitative research projects, uncovering insights that shape how we communicate, fundraise, and deliver services. Expect to work on campaign evaluations, audience segmentation, and product development, as well as managing our survey platform and Insights Library. You’ll collaborate across teams to guide market and competitor research and manage a customer research analyst, ensuring our work delivers value for money.

This role is all about turning information into action, helping us understand what motivates our audiences and making sure those insights improve everything we do. You will also lead stakeholder engagement, using your influencing skills to explain the ‘why’ behind our insights and help others see the value of customer research in decision-making.

Senior Grant Making Manager – 12 months fixed term contract

The Senior Grant Making Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of funding in our England Directorate and in particular our responsive funding in the London, South East and East Region.

Reporting to the Senior Head of Responsive Funding in the London, South East & East Region, you will play a key role in delivering our strategy, ‘It Starts with Community’, maximizing the impact of our funding across the region with a particular focus on London where you will work with others to develop our regional and London specific strategic direction, ensuring excellent management and oversight of day-to-day grant making and learning.

You will own key stakeholder relationships within London and play a lead role in developing the regions’ stakeholder engagement and relationship strategy. You will be a key representative of the National Lottery Community Fund in the region as part of the Regional Leadership Team, deputising for the Head of Region as necessary.

You will also be a key member of the England Leadership Team, maintaining strong relationships with colleagues across the England Directorate including other regional teams, key business partners as well as colleagues across The Fund.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading on funding strategy and delivery for London. Working to support the delivery of our Reaching Communities programme and the diversification of our funding portfolio to include partnerships work, more intentional grant making and our commitment to being more than a funder.
• Stakeholder Engagement across London and the region – To maximise our impact, to ensure a joined up collaborative approach and for learning and awareness raising, we need to work with others. You will hold, develop and maintain a strong network of external relationships.
• Leading, supporting and inspiring a team of 3 x Funding Managers (who you line manage) –providing support and overseeing the work of their teams (approx 20 staff), with a focus on delivery, values and maintaining wellbeing. You will also provide leadership to the full regional team.
• Leading through change and supporting the delivery of our new operating model and ways of working. This includes ensuring teams understand and adapt to change, that operating structures align and our processes and procedures are consistent across all of England responsive teams.
• Engagement locally and at an England and UK level. – You will liaise with and hold key relationships with other regional hubs and England funding teams as well as functions in Business Support, Knowledge and Learning and Communications, to ensure a joined up one Fund approach. You will also need to maintain solid relationships across a number of key Corporate functions including Finance, Legal, Audit, Service Design/GMS amongst others.

You will have a deep understanding of the communities, funding landscape and sector we serve in London and across the region. You will know the funding business inside out and have built networks you can pull on both inside and outside the organisation. Your ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with a diverse range of senior level internal and external stakeholders will be second to none. You will have experience in creating connections and facilitating diverse stakeholder networks and you will be a confident communicator, comfortable in all environments.

You will have experience of building and leading teams and driving a culture of inclusion with an ability to coach, inspire, and empower people. You’ll need to be a resilient self-starter who can plan with others and use excellent engagement skills to bring others into the work you are responsible for.

You’ll be a problem solver and solutions orientated with significant skills in diplomacy and a great supporter and encourager. You’ll be able to juggle competing priorities but organised enough to get all of that into a clear plan and delivery model that is strategic and operationally sensible.

You’ll be comfortable in risk and determined to succeed by adding value. You’ll have attention to detail but skilled enough to ensure that ideas, concepts and structures are easily explained in simple and clear ways.

You will demonstrate an ability to work in an agile way, ensuring we are flexible and continue to improve in line with feedback and insights from customers and frontline staff.

The newly created Advice & Support Team plays a critical role in delivering Battersea’s strategic focus on early intervention in the pet ownership journey. This role will be pivotal in bringing Battersea’s ambitious Advice & Support strategy to life. JOB OVERVIEW

Do you have a passion for advocating for vulnerable people, helping clients access their welfare entitlements and fighting homelessness? If so, this is an exciting opportunity for you to take the next step in your career by joining the Brent Irish Advisory Service (BIAS) as our Welfare and Housing Adviser for Haringey borough.

BIAS’s welfare and housing advice service supports members of the local Irish community and beyond with a range of complex issues, including disability benefits, pensions, Universal Credit, Irish passports, homelessness, rehousing, tenancy sustainment and disrepair. We are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic person who has a background or demonstrable interest in advice, welfare or housing to join our friendly advice team. Your role will involve contributing to the establishment, expansion and day-to-day running of BIAS’s advice service in Haringey borough, providing specialist advice on welfare and housing via one-to-one client appointments, completing casework and advocating for positive outcomes for your clients.

You will need to have strong people skills and the ability to build good working relationships with colleagues, clients and partners, an aptitude for working independently, excellent organisational skills and the ability to digest complex briefs. You will be required to manage an active caseload, ensuring that cases are appropriately actioned and recorded and that deadlines are met. You will work with the Advice Services Manager to build and develop the new advice service in Haringey, ensuring that we replicate our excellent quality of service, strong record of positive outcomes and loyal client base.

KEY WORK AREAS AND MAIN DUTIES

• Providing appropriate advice, information and practical help to clients via in-person appointments, outreach visits, telephone, letter or email. Where necessary, advocating on behalf of clients in the appropriate forums.
• Ensuring that all casework records are kept up to date and completed clearly and effectively.
• Contributing to monitoring service delivery and recording client outcomes.
• Maintaining a good knowledge of other available services, and signposting or referring clients as needed.
• Participating in regular team file reviews and supervision sessions, and contributing to maintaining BIAS’s high-quality service in line with Advice Quality Standard (AQS) requirements. 
• Engaging positively and constructively with other service providers, including local authorities and housing providers, to maintain partnerships.
• Staying up to date with developments in welfare benefits and housing legislation and identifying opportunities to effect positive policy change, together with the Advice Services Manager.

These are the basic duties required of the Welfare and Housing Adviser. However, it is necessary for all staff to be flexible and you may be required from time to time to perform other reasonable duties which are required for the efficient running of the organisation. We will also offer training opportunities to support your career development.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK. This role will be based in our advice venues in  Haringey[1], with some presence required at our main office in Willesden and some options for flexible working (i.e. one or two days per week).

[1] BIAS is currently running its Haringey advice services from the Hornsey Vale Community Centre, with plans to expand into additional venues in the borough later in 2025.

ABOUT BIAS

BIAS is a local charity which has supported England’s largest Irish community in Brent for over forty-five years. We deliver our support through our welfare advice drop-in service, our active ageing clubs and our Be-a-Friend volunteer scheme. We raise over £2 million in extra income for the most vulnerable every year and have over 3000 attendances at our club services. BIAS has exciting plans for further expansion and has a range of medium- to long-term grant funding, including from Ireland’s Emigrant Support Programme.
