In this key role, you’ll work with local teams to plan, manage and oversee both proactive and reactive maintenance projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, professionally, on time, and within budget. You’ll also advise and support colleagues with property-related matters, from compliance and safety to improving sustainability and service delivery. 

You’ll manage contractors, support health and safety compliance, lead minor refurbishments, and oversee maintenance budgets. Where appropriate, you’ll also line manage site-based facilities staff and play an active role in driving improvements and ensuring our estate presents the best face of Blue Cross. 

We’re looking for someone with strong project management skills, sound technical knowledge of building maintenance and compliance, and the ability to build positive working relationships across a dispersed organisation. You'll be customer-focused, well-organised, budget-conscious, and motivated to make a difference to the environments where we care for pets and people. 

You will be needing to occasionally travel to our veterinary hospitals in Victoria, Hammersmith, Merton and Grimsby.

Role Overview

This role contributes to the delivery of the key objectives of the Marketing and Communications team:

• To increase awareness of Global Fund for Children’s work (the number of people who ‘see’ and ‘think’ about our work).

• To convert supporters from people who ‘do’ (follow us on social media, sign up to the mailing list) to people who ‘care’ (fundraise, donate, take an action, share and create user-generated content).

You will be responsible for creating high quality, engaging and original content for various channels, including reels, carousels and posts for Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. You will be keen to develop and establish new communities on other channels as the social media landscape changes.  Translating the work of our grassroots partners and GFC staff into powerful social media narratives, you will produce content that is aligned with our mission and ensure that we are maximising the potential of our digital channels to grow our supporter base and build a growing global movement.

You will collaborate with graphic designers, videographers, various digital agencies and colleagues around the world on a daily basis in undertaking your role coordinating campaigns and our daily social media schedule.

You should have a passion for staying up to date with industry trends and innovations, a track record of creating content aligned with cultural moments and a knowledge of how popular culture can drive social change. You will be skilled in producing viral content and driving actions and donations through social media.

To that end, you will also play a role in building relationships with our growing network of Global Ambassadors who use their networks and influence to raise the profile of our work and inspire their communities to take action. You will also provide support in managing relationships with our Global Ambassadors and other key influencers to maximise content opportunities and community building.

Position Responsibilities

Social Media Management and Digital Content Creation

• Support the execution of an integrated strategy for our social media channels including leading on content planning and creation, posting and analysis.
• Staying on top of trends and learning from analytics to create compelling and engaging content that meets agreed KPIs.
• Develop and produce high-quality multimedia content for various platforms, including social media, websites and email campaigns.
• Edit raw footage into finished videos using industry-standard software, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
• Support on digital ads delivery.
• Support in managing relationships with digital agencies.
• Support other teams across GFC to use social media as a method to engage and communicate with key audiences and stakeholders.

Email Marketing

•  Act as social media content lead for major campaigns and fundraising activities
• Recommend and execute social media strategies to achieve fundraising and campaign objectives and KPIs. 
• Support the delivery of the Marketing and Communications team email marketing programme to meet agreed open and click-through rate KPIs.
• Support the team to build, design and send acquisition and retention emails using the email distribution system (Pardot).
• Support the review and analysis of email marketing results, report and evaluate overall and specific campaign success.

Global Ambassador and Influencer outreach and support

• Lead on delivering the Global Ambassador engagement strategy and influencer engagement activities.
•  Support the cultivation of existing and new influencers and Global Ambassadors. Work across teams to coordinate asks/outreach and ensure relationship managers are briefed and supported to deliver cultivation plans.
• Work with colleagues across the organisation to identify new potential celebrity supporters and influencers, develop one-pagers and coordinate sign-off process and develop recruitment plans to bring them on board.

Project management

• Lead and co-lead specific digital campaigns and projects throughout the year.
• Manage and catalogue digital assets (photos, case studies and videos) and upload them to digital asset management system.
•  Along with your colleagues, make sure that ‘Safer Communication’ and safeguarding are at the heart of all our asset collection and creation. Undertake your work in line with the safeguarding policy and best practice for marketing and communications work.
• Undertake any other duties appropriate to the post as required by your line manager.

Terms and Conditions

Salary: This role is open to candidates from any location. If the candidate is based in the UK, the salary will be c. £50,000

Terms: Full-time contract, home-based with attendance from time to time at the UK office in central London when necessary or requested to deliver work plans. 

Weekly hours: 35 hours per week

Flexible Working Location: This position is open to candidates from any location, but you must be able to collaborate easily, on a daily basis, with key colleagues (currently UK, Spain, Kenya) in the Marketing and Communications team.

Holidays: 30 days annual leave and eight public holidays. The basic annual leave allowance increases to 35 days after four years continuous employment.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join IRMO as our Youth Project Coordinator and lead the Latin American Youth Forum (LAYF) – IRMO’s youth-led group for migrant and refugee young people aged 13–19.

LAYF offers a safe, supportive and trilingual space (Spanish, Portuguese and English) where young people can overcome barriers and begin to find their feet in the UK. Activities are designed to build confidence, support integration and foster leadership. Through the programme, participants can learn English through fun and engaging ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes, take part in weekly educational, arts-based and themed workshops, and receive one-to-one support through a targeted coaching programme focused on education, volunteering and employment.

Young people also have the opportunity to join the LAYF Youth Steering Group, where they can develop leadership skills and inspire other Spanish and Portuguese-speaking young people, while exploring London and beyond through cultural trips and residentials.

As Youth Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for registering and onboarding new participants, designing and delivering a creative weekly programme of LAYF Space Workshops, and offering one-to-one mentoring to help young people access opportunities and build confidence. You’ll work closely with IRMO’s ESOL and Advice and Advocacy teams to ensure a joined-up and holistic approach.

This is a varied role that requires empathy, creativity and excellent organisational skills. You will play a key part in ensuring all activities are inclusive, engaging and safe, while monitoring progress and capturing the achievements of the young people involved. LAYF is delivered as part of Building Young Brixton (BYB), a consortium of ten Lambeth-based organisations working together to inspire and empower young people in the borough. Partnership working is central to the LAYF ethos, and the Youth Project Coordinator will collaborate closely with BYB partners to co-create activities, share skills and strengthen impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit and register LAYF participants by assessing individual needs and matching them with appropriate activities

• Plan, co-produce and deliver a dynamic and engaging programme of LAYF activities – from arts and sport to inspirational talks – designed to build young people’s confidence, life skills and social connection

• Coach and support young people to thrive in their education and personal development through a targeted one-to-one coaching programme

In this role, you will help the team to deliver key media moments as well as supporting on engaging our celebrity supporters with our work.  You will keep the team running smoothly by ensuring our processes and systems are running effectively and are up to date.   

You’ll also:  

• Maintain and update contact and pitch lists for journalists
• Using our media monitoring system, produce monthly, quarterly and year-end reports
• Compile a daily summary of news coverage for the wider organisation.
• Monitor and assist in use of the WaterAid BlueSky account 
• General support on key media moments, including background research, writing press releases, assisting with planning and logistics at events and stunts, media outreach. 
• Complete background and ethical checks on talent as per WaterAid’s policy and internal processes 
• Research and compile talent lists for activations and campaigns as required 
• Assist the Talent team with their activations with celebrities and content creators

Requirements

To be successful, you’ll need:

• Proven experience of working in an administrative capacity preferably in a busy office environment.
• An interest in digital, social and traditional media, awareness of trends
• Excellent time management. Ability to organise and prioritise a busy workload and work to tight or conflicting deadlines.

Introduction

Working within the Central Secretariat, the Safeguarding Structures Programme Director will lead a programme team to implement the new independent structures for the Church of England's safeguarding function.

About the Department

The Central Secretariat provides support to many of the governance bodies of the Church of England, including the General Synod, House of Bishops, Archbishops' Council and others. It also provides policy analysis and support on internal matters relating to the structure and governance of the Church of England.

What you'll be doing

The purpose of this role is to deliver the General Synod's motion of February 2025 to design, develop and deliver independent scrutiny of Church safeguarding and such operations as the Synod decides. It needs to do so in a way that brings stakeholders - victims and survivors, safeguarding staff across the Church, trustees and others - along with them, with a focus on delivering a system of safeguarding that commands greater confidence. And it needs to do so working through an executive chair and lead bishop.

You will lead a programme team that is in the process of being formed, and you'll report to the Director of the Central Secretariat, whilst also working through an Executive Chair (currently being recruited), the lead bishop for safeguarding and a Programme Board, and maintaining the confidence of the wider Church of England, including the General Synod, the House of Bishops and others.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the programme team to deliver an ambitious programme of policy development, legislation, restructure and new service development, being accountable for ensuring the programme meets objectives , delivers outcomes and realises benefits
• Support the Executive Chair and lead bishop to deliver the mandate of General Synod (February 2025) regarding the future of Church of England safeguarding - maintaining their confidence and engagement at all times, building a relationship of trust and collaboration.
• Lead the team to deliver the change:
• Design the change - agreeing the new models for scrutiny/complaints and operations
• Secure buy-in to the change - including from governance bodies, the General Synod, and other stakeholders
• Execute the change through a mixture of legislative, contractual and other arrangements; and
• Embed the change - through the communications, engagement, planning etc that will enable the programme to deliver the benefits
• Maintain excellent programme governance - both ensuring the programme is well-run, with appropriate internal governance (plans, resource management, risk management) and reports effectively to the Programme Board, and to governance bodies
• Develop excellent engagement with safeguarding staff and leaders across the Church
• Ensure that the proposals are designed from the user perspective - with a particular focus on victims, survivors and parish safeguarding officers
• Lead, support, encourage and manage, the programme team of approximately 6-8 people
• Develop key messaging and strategic engagement , overseeing internal and external engagement
• Equip and enable the lead bishop and Executive Chair to be effective senior sponsors and externally facing change champions, ensuring that they are fully briefed on all developments and properly supported prepared for their meetings.

About You

Along with a recognised Programme Management accreditation (e.g. APM, PMI, PRINCE2 or equivalent), you will also need to demonstrate:

• The ability to create the vision and a sense of the destination, and also to engage in the precise details of what needs to happen to deliver it;
• A track record of engaging with people who are impacted by substantial change;
• Ability and experience of working collaboratively with a programme team and wider stakeholders to achieve success
• Experience of working with senior stakeholders to deliver, and capacity to work with an Executive Chair and lead bishop or similar.

• A salary of 82,157 per annum, plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary. We will also match any salary-sacrifice pension contributions you make up to an additional 3% of your salary.

As a PBS Specialist you will be passionate about improving the quality of life for autistic children and young people with additional learning needs. • IT Proficiency, ability to learn new software programs, and ability to confidently use and utilise Microsoft programs

The post holder is responsible for delivering and developing all METRO’s mental health and youth services, and some of our community projects. They will provide strategic leadership for METRO’s work in the mental health and youth domains, line managing a team of managers. They will be responsible for the financial direction and strategic growth of the mental health and youth domains, overseeing and developing new programmes for the charity – particularly in the area of training and education, including Relationships, Sexuality, Health and Sex Education (RSE or RSHE). They will ensure our services are delivered to a high standard and are coproduced with people with lived experience of mental health and young people.

Importantly, they will also be the charity’s Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), to advise and support the charity’s approach and plan for safeguarding, as well as providing direct safeguarding support to both frontline and managerial staff.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and proactive individual to join our Individual Giving team as the Individual Giving Assistant – Supporter Acquisition.

This role will play a key part in supporting the recruitment of new supporters to the Charity through a range of direct marketing channels and propositions. The post-holder will provide vital administrative support, help deliver campaigns, ensure excellent supporter care, and play an important role in front-of-house operations at both our Chelsea and Sutton offices.

• Delivering first-class supporter care to new donors, helping ensure a positive and lasting first impression.
• Supporting the planning and delivery of supporter acquisition campaigns, including proofreading, briefing materials, and coordinating timelines.
• Helping with campaign reporting, KPI tracking, and budget administration.
• Providing regular front-of-house support including managing supporter queries by phone, email, and in person at Chelsea and Sutton.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to ensure seamless donor journeys and data accuracy.
