The Newham Mental Health Team, based at Flying Angel, operates weekdays from 9am to 5pm, offering support to individuals with low to medium mental health needs both in the building and the community. They work with other professionals to help those with complex needs, aiming to create a safe and supportive environment tailored to each person's unique circumstances and aspirations.

As part of this team, Support Workers assist customers with complex mental health issues, including those with histories of substance use, trauma, non-engagement, criminal justice connections, and personality disorders. They help customers develop independent living skills, manage tenancies, and engage in the community. Support Workers carry a caseload and collaborate to create effective, recovery-oriented support and risk management plans. Their flexible support includes physical, domestic, emotional, and social assistance, promoting social inclusion, vocational opportunities, recovery, self-advocacy, and empowerment.

We are looking for a Housing Mobile Night Worker to provide floating support to our teams in high support 24-hour projects as well as medium support and transitional housing units to ensure that our properties are safe, secure, and welcoming through the night.

You will be based at Lansworth House and will support the static night worker there during the night as well as undertaking your mobile duties across Brighton, Hove and Worthing.

Working on site you will be responsible for ensuring the service is safe by keeping clear records of night time activity within the building. You will regularly complete building checks and monitor CCTV upkeeping health and safety regulations in accordance with YMCA DLG's policies and procedures.  You will work to prevent any anti-social behaviour from impacting our neighbours and other residents. You will work alongside other support staff to maximise the wellbeing of residents by completing one to one interventions with young people who may be experiencing mental health crisis and/or who may need medical assistance.

This is a mobile role, requiring all applicants to have a full valid, UK Driving Licence. You will also be lone working as part of the role, so you will need to be comfortable with decision making and following procedures.

Millimetres 2 Mountains Foundation (M2M) is a charity dedicated to helping individuals rebuild their lives after experiencing physical or emotional trauma. Founded by former professional rugby player Ed Jackson and his wife, Lois, following Ed’s life-changing spinal injury, M2M uses the power of adventure, nature, and community to support people on their journey of recovery. 

At the heart of the charity lies the M2M Development Programme - a bespoke, holistic support system tailored to each beneficiary’s unique recovery journey. Through one-to-one mentorship, a nurturing community, and the transformative power of the outdoors (culminating in life-changing mountain expeditions abroad), M2M empowers individuals to rediscover purpose, rebuild confidence, and move forward with lasting resilience. About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our IT team, helping to provide support to users across our locations.

This role will receive support and ongoing guidance from across the team to build on your experience so a keenness to learn and develop your skills is key.

You will ideally have experience of supporting a wide range of end users in a Microsoft network using Windows 11 and Office 365. You must be confident in configuring and maintaining PC’s, laptops and associated peripherals, together with a good understanding of basic LAN and WAN network support techniques. As an Assistant IT Support Technician, you will:

• Assist in ensuring speedy resolution of 1st line Help Desk queries and change requests
• Provide IT related support to the WWT end-user community.
• Play a key role in processing, configuring and issuing new PC’s, laptops and associated peripherals to WWT requirements.
• Troubleshoot PC’s, laptops and associated peripherals and escalate to senior IT staff and / or 3rd party support where appropriate.
