About the role:
As a Project Worker – Complex Needs, you’ll be at the heart of Single Homeless Project's (SHP) mission to end homelessness in London, working within our short-stay accommodation services that offer safety, stability, and a fresh start for people rebuilding their lives. Each day you’ll work alongside clients who have experienced homelessness and are navigating challenges such as substance use, mental health issues, trauma and physical health concerns. Through trust, persistence and creativity, you’ll help them access and sustain safe accommodation, reconnect with essential services, and take meaningful steps towards lasting independence.

About The Role
As a SQL Insight Analyst, you will be at the heart of our charity’s ambition to drive our decision making through evidence and data backed insights. You will become an expert on the data points we collect at Help For Heroes and gain understanding of how these all play a part in achieving our overall goal of ensuring Members of the Armed Forces Community Live Well after Service.
About You

Good organisational skills, energy and the ability to listen, build relationships and inspire both confidence and curiosity within our dataset will be essential to drive the change the Charity is looking for.
We are looking for someone with:

Are you a detail-driven professional with a passion for precision and people?
We are seeking a Payroll Officer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in ensuring every payslip is accurate and delivered on time. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, working closely with our external payroll provider to ensure the accurate and timely payment of all employees each month.
You will process monthly payroll, including manual calculations for overtime, variable hours, complex work patterns, and compressed hours, while ensuring correct application of cost codes for payroll expenditure. The role involves administering statutory and company payments such as sick pay, maternity pay, and other relevant entitlements, as well as processing adjustments for new starters, leavers, promotions, and contract variations.
You will also play an important part in supporting the procurement and implementation of a new payroll provider and software, ensuring compliance with all pay-related legislation, HMRC regulations, and internal policies. The position includes managing pension scheme administration—covering auto-enrolment, contributions, and opt-out processes—and collaborating closely with both the People and Finance teams to maintain accurate employee data and ensure payroll costs are correctly recorded and reported.
Additionally, you will produce monthly payroll reports, assist with financial and audit requirements, and respond to employee payroll queries promptly and professionally. This is a varied role that also offers opportunities to contribute to ad hoc tasks and reporting projects as required by the business.
About You:
To be successful as the Payroll Officer you will need to demonstrate proven experience in payroll processing, ideally within a medium to large organisation, along with a strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements. You should possess excellent numerical skills, with the ability to interpret data, perform accurate calculations, and apply sound financial understanding relevant to the position. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
It would be advantageous to have experience managing complex pay calculations such as compressed hours, overtime, and varying pay structures, as well as familiarity with pensions administration and HMRC reporting. Our partner, an established UK charity with a focus on fighting poverty by transforming access to health care services in lower- and middle-income countries in Africa seeks a highly dynamic individual for a one-year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of an extension. The position is part of the management team, and the post holder will be expected to lead on the financial accounting, management accounting, and budgeting for the organisation as well as taking forward some strategic finance and operations projects as we expand our programmes in existing countries. The individual will also be expected to support the Co-CEOs with administrative, compliance and IT related tasks.
Finance
•Maintain a strong control environment, ensuring accounting records are complete and accurate.
Financial accounting
•Prepare annual statutory accounts in accordance with SORP 2015.
•Prepare for the annual external audit and host auditors ensuring the audit process runs smoothly. This includes supporting country offices in hosting their respective audits.
•Ensure annual statutory accounts are finalised and submitted to Companies House and the Charity Commission by the appropriate deadlines.
Management accounting
•Coordinate the month-end process with the Finance Officer (UK) and Programme Finance Lead, and review transaction postings.
•Prepare monthly management accounts with cash flow forecasts, modifying the format as needed to suit the preferences of senior management and the Board of Trustees.
•Prepare the annual organisational budget and mid-year reforecast.
•Improve existing budget templates to enable straightforward and transparent budgeting for donors.
Support to country offices
•Collaborate with the Programme Finance Lead on a monthly basis to reconcile intercompany accounts, ensuring that reconciling items are cleared promptly.
•Support country office teams in fulfilling any reporting and financial compliance requirements.
•Conduct internal process reviews (internal audits) of country offices where required.
•Review the bi-weekly payment runs for the UK office and the monthly country office fund requests, ensuring cash flow planning is in place for these payments.
•Ensure asset registers are maintained appropriately.
Administration
•Support staff in conducting procurement in line with our procurement policy.
•Assist with preparation for quarterly Board meetings.

Guts UK is the only charity that covers the digestive system from top to tail, including the gut, the liver and the pancreas. The charity focuses particularly on the conditions that have no other specific charity or voice - conditions that are underserved, such as pancreatitis, diverticular disease, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), childhood gut and liver disease, and digestive cancers. With their mission being to improve the lives of the millions of people affected by digestive conditions, they are looking for their first Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager to help them reach that goal.
The Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager is responsible for developing and implementing plans to maximise income from corporate partners and high net worth individuals with the propensity to donate significant sums. There is huge scope to develop both income streams at Guts UK, as this is the first dedicated position covering these income streams.
With some fantastic corporate partnerships in place already, there is great potential to build on the existing foundations and leverage those corporate partnerships to secure more ranging from transactional right up to transformational.
The philanthropy function has green shoots to nurture and develop. This is an exciting role for a candidate who wants to grow and shape this income stream, and demonstrate their personal impact on generating income, and providing donors with an incredible supporter experience.
This specialist manager role would suit someone who is already operating at a senior fundraiser or manager level, or someone who can demonstrate experience of developing a corporate and/or major donor pipeline, creating operational plans and delivering income. Guts UK is a small charity with big ambition so a background that includes working within a smaller charity would be helpful for the candidate to have but isn't essential.

The Communications Team tells people who Liberty is, what we do and how they can get involved – helping to shape the narrative of the media debate and influence decision makers. This role requires proven experience of line managing colleagues and devising and executing strategic national media and digital comms plans.

What You'll Be Doing
You will be joining our Asset Management Team, a friendly group of 16 people, who provide a high-quality service to our Housing Support colleagues and our Clients by repairing, maintaining and investing in our properties.
A little more about your day as a Fire Safety Project Manager:
• To be the main point of contact to address any issues around fire safety in our properties which needs further on-site investigation around repairs, maintenance, or any other property related matters.
• Programme and manage the delivery of Fire Risk Assessments and Fire Strategies for our property portfolio.
• Investigate any Health and Safety issues under the Housing Health and Safety Rating System.
• Assist the Contracts and Compliance Manager to ensure we remain compliant at all times.
• Compile specifications for all passive and active fire safety works, procure, and ensure works are delivered to the required standard and within the specified timescales, inspect work during and at completion, and arranging payment for work.
• Request or raise orders for works to external contractors or In House Repairs Team, and ensure work is completed to the required standard and within the specified timescales.
• Have regular contact and meetings with Transform’s Inhouse Repairs Team, external contractors, and Consultants to monitor quality and delivery of work, along with performance.
• Have an overview, monitor expenditure against budget, and have input in identifying future repair needs or programmes of work.
• Use appropriate equipment provided to carry out inspections and take photographic evidence as required.
• Provide guidance and advice to residents, staff, contractors, and external stakeholders regarding the outcome of any inspection or work carried out, and if applicable what further action is needed.
• Attend meetings and compile reports as required on any matter following an inspection, which may include any incident, complaint, or disrepair.
• Use IT systems to locate property information, raise repair orders, monitor works, record completions, and obtain reports as required.
• Follow policies and procedures, and where appropriate recommend any changes to improve the way inspections are conducted and what information is collated.
• Keep up to date with current legislation, guidance and good practice within the sector and Property maintenance and management.
What You'll Need
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Proven experience delivering FRA programmes or similar fire safety compliance projects.
• Strong understanding of fire safety legislation, standards, and regulations.
• Experience managing contractors and consultants to deliver compliance works.
• Considerable knowledge of fire doors, passive fire protection and remedial fire safety measures such as detection and alarms.
• Demonstrable project management and contract management experience.
• Strong IT skills and ability to manage compliance databases.
• A driving license and access to a car.
• Minimum of HNC/HND in a related discipline required to carry out this role, or equivalent.
• Relevant qualification in fire safety, surveying, construction, or property management.
• Recognised FRA qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Fire Safety, Fire Risk Assessor certification).

• Good understanding of building pathology and identifying building defects
• Qualified Fire Door Inspector
