We are working in partnership with Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust to deliver the Bromley Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub (BMHWH), as part of the ongoing transformation of mental health services in the London Borough of Bromley under the NHS Long Term Plan. The service integrates the expertise of local primary, secondary, and voluntary sector providers to offer flexible, holistic and person-centred support for adults experiencing mental health difficulties.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Advisor to join the BMHWH team. Working within the Information, Advice and Guidance and Tailored Wellbeing pathways, this role offers the chance to make a direct impact on individuals’ recovery journeys by providing timely, personalised support.

You will manage a caseload, delivering one-to-one and group-based interventions, offering information, advice, guidance and signposting, and co-producing support plans tailored to individuals' goals and needs. You will undertake holistic assessments, and work closely with clinical colleagues at Oxleas to ensure a joined-up approach between clinical and non-clinical support. Your ability to build strong relationships and maintain accurate case records will be vital to support quality assurance, risk management and positive outcomes for clients.

The role requires excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, a commitment to recovery-focused practice, and the ability to work flexibly and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. You will have experience supporting people with mental health challenges, including those with complex or heightened needs, and a strong understanding of local services in Bromley. A good working knowledge of safeguarding procedures and outcome-focused practice is essential.

Role Requirements

• Provide high level administrative support to the Directors.
• Exercise judgement in prioritisation, dealing with matters within own remit and / or referring them to the director as and when necessary, ensuring tact, discretion and courtesy at all times.

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Collections and Programme Manager, this role will ensure the Crafts Council Collections are documented and preserved to a high standard for future generations. The Head of Advice Services will play an integral role in safeguarding the integrity of services, set the overall strategy for the advice service, and ensure the service and programmes run effectively and efficiently.

Key responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership & Service Oversight: Provide direction for Advice Services, supporting programme development, maintaining quality standards (AQS and OISC), and managing staff, while also handling a small caseload of complex advice cases.
• Monitoring, Evaluation & Impact: Work with the Advice Service Manager to track programme goals and outcomes, use data to guide strategic decisions, and ensure meaningful community involvement in service evaluation.
• Safeguarding: Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, overseeing safeguarding policies, training, and risk management, and offering strategic advice to staff across the organisation.
• Fundraising & Financial Oversight: Support funding bids and oversee operational planning and budgets for Advice Services, ensuring delivery aligns with organisational goals and funder requirements.

The ideal candidate will have leadership experience within advice services, with a strong background in delivering and managing caseloads in areas such as immigration, welfare, or housing advice. You will bring expertise in impact evaluation, safeguarding, financial oversight, and rights-based or trauma-informed approaches. Strong communication, leadership, and data analysis skills, along with a commitment to learning, are essential.

Main purpose of the job

The role exists to ensure that the Students’ Union operates as a democratic organisation and that the student voice is heard and a part of everything we do. The position will:

• Manage, review and promote the Student Representative structure

• Lead on elections for our Full Time Officer team.
