About this key role

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to identify and assess young victims of violence, you will also provide support, advice and advocacy for children, young people and their families as they plan to be discharged from hospital back into the community.  You will produce support and risk management plans based on your assessments and also deliver a holistic support service, working solo or with colleagues as the situation dictates, to each client.  This will include providing practical guidance with social and housing support, accompanying to appointments, ETE options, benefits work, debt advice, DIY work and cleaning.

We will also count on you to develop and maintain relationships with partner agencies, including community-based services such as police, children’s services and local authorities, while closing cases efficiently and positively, identifying a referral route for children and young people that will identify agencies that can be used for ongoing support and agencies that can be used if serious problems develop in the future is also an essential aspect of the role.

What we are looking for

• Personal experience of the criminal justice system, lived experience of the issues facing this client group and/or experience of working with ‘high risk’, vulnerable children, young people and/or families

• Substantial experience of providing support, advice and advocacy and of using support plans

• Substantial experience of assessing the needs of CYP who are at risk of significant harm

• Proven record of engaging successfully with ‘challenging’ young people

• A working knowledge of relevant services for young people and their families in the service provision area (mainly North and West London but potentially further

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

• A flexible, collaborative and professional approach to your work

You will collaborate with Sodexo’s global partnership leads to ensure delivery and alignment across the full breadth of the partnership too.

Critically, you will also lead work on healthy and sustainable diets within the UK food sector, advocating for progress towards the Livewell diet. A key responsibility will be to oversee the Diets pillar of our flagship WWF Basket initiative, holding UK retailers accountable for their commitments on driving shifts toward healthier, more sustainable diets.

In addition, you will support the work of our global sustainable diets team. This will include leading the development of a methodology for food service providers to track progress toward healthy and sustainable diets as well as advancing our Future Foods work.

We are recruiting for an experienced and qualified School Counsellor on a permanent basis at our well-established Dialogue School Counselling service at Felpham Community College in Felpham, Bognor Regis. You will be working with a range of clients within the Dialogue Thresholds and working to a 6-8 session model. You will be working alongside another experienced Dialogue School Counsellor and working closely with the Student Services Pastoral team at the college.

Key responsibilities

• Run a suitable appointment system flexible to the needs of the school, offering students appropriate assessments and counselling appointments
• Manage the tight time boundaries of the role and the often complex and varied workload
• Liaise with school staff over referrals, waiting lists and appointments
• Carry out initial clinical and risk assessments and establish appropriate referral pathways with other services where appropriate. Continually assess risk throughout each student’s counselling.
• Follow YMCA Dialogue safeguarding procedures; to know who the School’s Designated Safeguarding Officer/s is and how to contact them when a safeguarding concern arises
• Work at all times within the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions
•  Maintain individual membership of the BACP and to become a Registered Member (or other professional body such as HCPC)
• You will establish good professional working relationships with key school staff

What we're looking for:

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA or other chartered accounting qualification (or Finalist).

• Proven experience in a finance function in a hands-on role, including working proactively to improve and/or set up and manage effective financial processes.

• Extensive technical knowledge of accounting principles and best practice, with particular reference to specific UK charity accounting rules and regulations.

• Substantial experience of management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and reporting, plus involvement in financial year-end and annual statutory audit.

• Knowledge of SUNv6 and Infor Q&A or similar finance system, plus Excel analysis and data functions, working with large and variable datasets – and ideally knowledge of Proactis or similar.

• Proven experience of delivering a business partnering focused service and providing in depth insight, analysis, guidance and support to budget-holders.

Support Workers will provide support to customers to help them develop the life skills they require to meet the assessed needs of the customers of the service. In some services, this will include providing physical, domestic, emotional and social care.

About the Role

The Head of Finance will work closely with the Management Accountant and Senior Financial Officer to ensure the integrity of the financial controls, policies and procedures of the organisation and timely, accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders. Within the business they will be a trusted advisor on areas of financial governance and reporting. You will work alongside the Director of Finance and Business Support to facilitate strategic decision making with reference to robust financial evidence.

The Head of Finance will have line management responsibilities for the Management Accountant and the Senior Financial Officer.

About the role:
Reporting to the Head of Programmes, you’ll lead the development and implementation of the M&E strategy, tracking impact across global tea programmes, strengthening data quality, and promoting organisational learning. You’ll also manage high-value supply chain data from member companies, support funding proposals with strong evidence, and ensure robust data protection compliance.

This role is perfect for someone passionate about impact measurement, experienced in global development, and ready to build systems that drive better decisions and deeper outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the design and roll-out of a Global Impact Framework to measure strategic effectiveness
• Develop and refine M&E tools, systems, and processes across global programmes
• Provide technical guidance on M&E for programme design, donor reporting, and risk management

• Build M&E capacity across the organisation, including delivering training and guidance

Support Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following stroke. We are looking for an innovative, passionate, and professional individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to join the Stroke Recovery Service based in Crewe.

Position: S11268 Stroke Support Coordinator

Location: Home-based/Crewe, Cheshire. However, extensive travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

Salary: Circa £16,461 per annum (FTE circa £27,400 per annum)

Hours: Part-time, 21 hours per week

Contract: Permanent. Services are contracted and there is currently funding for this contract until 31 March 2026.

The Role

Reporting to the Service Delivery Coach, you will have the ability to support stroke survivors to identify their goals. Using strong assessment skills and a person-centred approach enabling them to maximise their recovery and improve communication.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.
• Provide personalised information, advice and support.
• Supporting stroke survivors to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to prevent further strokes.
• Work collaboratively with NHS colleagues and other areas of the community to make a difference in the lives of people affected by stroke.

About You

You will have experience in:

• Experience/background in a caring profession, ideally supporting people with disabilities
• Excellent IT skills and an ability to maintain accurate records.
• An affinity with the values of the Association.
• A flexible approach and an ability to effectively manage a caseload.
