The Estate Officer will ensure the delivery of the regional maintenance programme, comprising routine, periodic, planned and urgent works, and the delivery of time limited maintenance consultancy and estate management projects. Working alongside the Conservation Projects Manager, the post holder will ensure regional estate compliance with CCT policies.

The post holder will be the main contact for all maintenance related matters and will maintain the property management records for the estate, develop volunteer projects and training on maintenance reporting and conservation cleaning and will assist with fundraising.

About you

We're looking for an experienced project manager with experience and knowledge of the criminal justice system and the services within it. You will be a strategic thinker with proven leadership skills, and the ability to manage the set up and running of new services. You will have an understanding of what we stand for as a charity and have alignment to help us meet our mission and objectives. We are looking for someone with:

• Proven experience in project/programme management, ideally in public sector or voluntary sector
• Proven experience in delivering complex, multi-site projects which involve property, service mobilisation, and stakeholder engagement
• Previous experience and a good understanding of Criminal Justice Services
• Ability to manage projects from planning, execution, and oversight of projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget

The LN comprises 30+ staff working as part of a single team operating across the Methodist Church in Britain. The team is strategically and collaboratively managed by Learning and Development Managers (LDMs), each having responsibility for a number of Learning and Development Officers (LDO) working within a geographical area. We are seeking to recruit an LDM for the Cymru Wales, West Midlands and South West area. There is a requirement to live within this geography that includes the Methodist districts: Wales Synod Cymru, West Midlands (following the merger of the current Birmingham District and the Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury District on 1st September 2025), Southampton, Channel Islands, Bristol, and South West Peninsular.

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

We are now recruiting the team that will deliver Crisis at Christmas 2025. This unique project mobilises a huge volunteering effort to provide warmth, companionship and vital services in temporary centres across London to people facing homelessness.

Contract: Fixed Term Contact – starting 16 September 2025 until January/February 2026 (as required

Hours: 35 hours per week (some rota’d working to cover weekends and bank holidays over Christmas period)

We are looking for three new Project Assistants to support the delivery of a range of services our guests need to have a safe and happy Christmas. You will support with the recruitment and management of Crisis at Christmas volunteers and external partners to help deliver services, ensuring teams have all the information and equipment they need. This is a varied role including processing volunteer applications, creating comms materials, managing and communicating schedules, organising training, organising and setting up kit, ensuring our teams of specialists have the equipment and materials they need as well as getting stuck in and helping out directly once our centres open.

Richard House helps children and their families in East London to lead as happy a life as possible when dealing with a life-limiting health condition. From the moment a child is diagnosed with a life-limiting, life-threatening or complex health condition everything changes. These changes affect the whole family, which is why Richard House feel it is vital not only to provide care to the child but to support the whole family. The Events Manager will develop an events programme that delivers excellent supporter-care to all fundraisers and supporters taking part in an event or organising their own activities, maximising income from these fundraising streams. About the job

Over the past decade Pembroke House’s activities in Walworth have grown considerably, with annual turnover rising from £200k to £1 million. Further growth is expected as a result of a new strategy anchored around five 10-year commitments to the neighbourhood, consolidation of our activities across two community buildings and continuing to build wide-ranging partnerships in Walworth.

We are looking for an experienced and skilled financial professional who can steward us through this crucial period of development.  You will be someone who combines a passion for our mission, a keen eye for detail and a flair for interpreting financial information and supporting non-specialists to make sound financial decisions. 

Days will be varied spanning everything from helping budget holders report to funders; preparing accurate financial reports and management accounts; to creating the budgets and frameworks for long-term financial planning. The rest of the core finance team comprises a Bookkeeper and a pro bono Payroll Officer based in Pembroke College, Cambridge. Other members of the team manage petty cash, look after the room hire business (including invoicing and credit control) and administer pensions. 

The trustee’s Finance and Risk Subcommittee formed two years ago and a new trustee position of Treasurer is currently being recruited. The Finance Manager will service and attend the subcommittee’s quarterly meetings and be the main contact point with the Treasurer between meetings.

As a new role there will be plenty of opportunity to mould finance operations across the organisation. Finance systems are currently in place, and have satisfied the auditor over the past few years, but there remains scope for improvement, including through automation and upskilling of the wider team.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Foster a culture of financial responsibility, in conjunction with the Leadership Team.
• Draft the audit file and schedules and assist the auditor with follow up questions and queries.
• Lead on the preparation of the charity's annual budget.
• Prepare fundraising budgets, financial claims and invoices for funders in line with (grant) agreements.
• Approve and act as signatory to all contracts for services issued and received.

Pembroke House is a centre for social action and residential community in Walworth, south-east London. 

We were founded in 1885, by students from Pembroke College, Cambridge, as one of the first settlement houses. The Passage’s philanthropy portfolio has grown significantly over the last three years through dedicated relationship management and compelling applications that have brought to life the fantastic work and outcomes achieved by The Passage’s services. A recent audit of our Trusts and Foundations programme identified further opportunities for growth with both newly created and well-established funders.

The Passage’s new three-year strategy, The Art of the Possible, is based around the themes of prevention, convening and sustaining, and highlights the importance of collaboration. The Fundraising, Communications and Trading team are seeking a passionate, articulate, and experienced individual to further enhance and sustain our trusts and foundations income stream so that The Passage can support more people to find a place to call home.

Main duties

• Lead relationships with a portfolio of trusts, foundations, and other grant-making bodies to establish a robust pipeline of sustainable income.
• Provide effective stewardship of existing trust donors and prospects to ensure repeat gifts and to increase support where relevant.
• Create innovative opportunities and develop funding proposals that match funding opportunities to The Passage’s range of services.
• Develop an annual prospect pipeline with the aim of securing sustainable, multi-year income.
• Support the Senior Philanthropy Manager to prepare accurate annual budgets, forecasts, and income phasing.
• Maintain accurate records on the Salesforce database and ensure donor records are compliant.

General responsibilities

• In conjunction with the Senior Philanthropy Manager to continuously develop the role to ensure that all tasks are being undertaken in an effective and appropriate manner which meets the strategic aims and objectives of The Passage.

As the home of print and type design on Fleet Street, the Foundation cares for an internationally significant collection celebrating the history of print, graphic design and typography.

St Bride Foundation (SBF) is seeking a Collections and Archives Manager with strong project management and collections management skills to support the development, preservation, and accessibility of our library and archive collections. The Collections and Archives Manager will manage the smooth running of the Reading Room, library enquiry services and manage our library volunteers.

Working as part of a small team, the role will involve helping to develop and deliver aspects of the learning programme, especially those relating to engagement with the collections through activities including tours, talks and exhibitions.  

The Collections and Archives Manager will work closely with the Foundation Librarian to oversee library and archival operations, and develop policies to improve storage, accessibility, and preservation.

Key Responsibilities

Access, Research & Stakeholder Engagement

• Support public and internal access to collection materials by providing research services and developing user-friendly finding aids.

Project Management – Collection

Outreach, Engagement & Advocacy

• Contribute to learning and engagement programs, including talks, tours, workshops, exhibitions, and digital content—that promote engagement with the collections across diverse audiences.

The Advocacy, Advice and Information department works to empower people and communities, and challenge stigma and disadvantage caused by Mental Health problems. We champion individual’s voices, uphold their rights, and promote personal autonomy through the provision of high quality information, advice, and advocacy support.

The purpose of this role is to provide professional advocacy to all eligible patients. To ensure that patients voices are heard and respected, rights upheld, and to facilitate positive engagement with ward staff, professionals involved in their care, treatment planning processes, and relevant meetings. This may be facilitated through attendance at patient’s forums, ward meetings, working with patients on a one to one basis providing information, representation and support to develop self-advocacy skills; and developing new forums and forms of support.

Duties will include providing professional advocacy to all patients, informing them of their rights and supporting them with any issues that are impacting them during their hospital admission. Ensuring that advocacy is available for all patients, that appropriate methods of communication are available in order to meet the needs of all patients, and to be able to adapt to changing ward based or external changes.

This role is providing specialist advocacy for 12 Forensic Wards at Chase Farm Hospital and in community locations.

· Have at least five years’ experience of working in the field of adoption and/or post adoption, with a minimum of two years’ experience in post adoption.

· Have experience of managing a team, including providing supervision to other social workers.
