The service will be a valuable point of contact for anyone affected by crime at any time to contact and receive help, support and information. It will be busy and fast paced receiving referrals and calls of varying nature from a variety of people, and working to provide an offer of support by a victim's preferred method and time of contact.
We have an opportunity available and are looking for dedicated, passionate and empathetic person to join and enhance our team as an Initial Support Agent (known internally as a Triage & Early Interventions Officer), this role is working 37.5 hours per week and is home-based.

About the role:
The role of Triage and Early Interventions Officer (TEIO) is a fast paced one which requires the post holder to answer incoming calls and make outgoing calls to victims of crime and those accessing the service in Cumbria.
As a TEIO, you will;
- answer incoming calls, speaking to those affected by crime & manage a caseload
- make outgoing calls, assess needs and risks and action plan with callers
- work on the case management system to allocate cases, provide administration on cases and assess/ensure data quality
- liaise with other agencies where required to find out more information, give information or make referrals or give signposting information
- work with the wider team to ensure an effective, trauma informed service is given to those affected by crime
You will be a confident, compassionate and empathic person who can work well under pressure. You will be speaking to people who may be upset, angry or in emotional difficulties and will need to be composed, empathic and be able to quickly assess situations.
You will be confident in using your IT skills to work on a case management system, access phone and online systems, email and Microsoft Office programmes.

It is a busy and dynamic supported housing service for young people aged 16 – 21 years. Commissioned by Nottinghamshire County Council, they offer a high quality, strengths based support service which aims to build the skills, confidence and independence of the young people who come through their doors.
The Role
As their Night Porter, you will undertake a varied range of tasks on the night shift and not one shift is the same as you will be involved in directly responding and helping young people with any issues or concerns they may have, whilst also managing the site, conducting safety checks and operating surveillance of the building. Other duties may include but are not limited to:
- Booking residents and visitors in and out of the building and log all relevant information.
- Logging all complaints, accidents, potential risks, and incidents of anti-social behaviour in accordance with policies and procedures
- Keeping a day-to-day log of events and happenings when on duty and ensure effective handover of information to relevant staff.
- Conducting regular security checks including fire alarm, emergency lighting and fire extinguishers and report any concerns.
About you:
You will be compassionate, resilient and have the skills to de-escalate potential incidents through your fantastic communication skills. You will need to be able to confidently diffuse difficult situations which may arise as a result of tension or disagreements between young people, and be understanding of the needs of people from diverse social, cultural and racial backgrounds.
Although training will be provided, you must be comfortable with lone working and using your own initiative. It is beneficial if you have an understanding of professional boundaries working with a vulnerable client group and/or experience of working with a vulnerable client group. A basic level of literacy and numeracy is essential as well as caring for the safety and wellbeing of young people.
Working times:
The service operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year including bank holidays and weekends. Staff will be required to work 37 hours including weekends across 4 shifts. 8:45pm -7am

As National Support Coordinator you will provide support to our members living with a rare neuromuscular condition, myasthenia, their families, and carers. “For My Future” is a bespoke 6-week course designed in 2019 specifically for people in the justice system. Focusing on both personal skills and practical ones (CVs, applications, interviews), the course is delivered either in person or online to small, single-sex cohorts over a 6-week period. To succeed in this role, you will have experience of supporting people in group scenarios and be confident presenting both in person and online. We are seeking a Specialist Women’s Navigator that will work as part of the Changing Futures delivery team to provide long term, personalised support and case coordination to women experiencing severe multiple disadvantage (complex interplay of mental health, substance use, homelessness, criminal justice system interaction, and domestic/sexual violence). The post will encourage engagement from those who typically do not engage with services, enabling them to better manage their lives through a multi-disciplinary, person-centred, and trauma-informed approach. The Specialist Navigator will deliver support in a way that considers the impact of societal attitudes towards sex/gender and stigma, and how this contributes to women’s experience of SMD and the barriers they face to accessing support to recover from abuse, the results of abuse, and to be in control of their lives, well-being, and choices.
The purpose of every role at POW Nottingham is to support sex workers on their journey, by empowering them to make positive lifestyle decisions, promoting and facilitating physical, sexual, psychological and social health amongst the sex worker community. The post will work holistically, through befriending and support to build confidence and raise self-esteem, hope and aspirations for the future through the development and delivery of services to sex workers.

Through the partnership of Macmillan Cancer Support, Self Help UK and the Nottinghamshire Integrated Care System, the Macmillan Beyond Dagnosis service delivers support for people affected by cancer, as well as facilitated access to voluntary and community sector cancer specific support and wellbeing interventions across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Support and interventions will be identified using electronic health needs assessments (eHNA’s) and personalised care and support planning. The aim of the service is to provide an improved experience for patients beyond their interactions with clinical services by contributing to the overall holistic approach to supporting people living with and beyond cancer.
