About the role:
As a Project Worker Complex Needs in our ELMS Service, you will have the rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals living with paranoid schizophrenia and other complex needs. Your role will be diverse and impactful, working directly with residents to provide essential support through key working, daily shift delivery, and client recording. You’ll also liaise with mental health professionals, helping coordinate appointments and advocating for residents when needed, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve.
You will support clients through structured key working and carry out comprehensive assessments, including risk assessments and goal setting, all while promoting Single Homeless Project’s values and practices. By implementing holistic support strategies, you will empower residents to manage their diagnosis and address their emotional, practical, and housing management needs. The role also includes supporting clients through engaging social activities such as a lunch club, bowling, and an allotment group, creating opportunities for connection and growth. As you guide residents on their journey toward independent living, your work will be pivotal in helping them build the skills and confidence needed to lead fulfilling, healthy lives.
The rota runs over Mon-Sun and some weekends are required. You will also be required to do light household chores and travel between the houses on the project.

- A working knowledge of severe and enduring mental ill-health, and the interventions and effective approaches to supporting individuals experiencing such conditions.

The Role
· Assertive outreach casework with very vulnerable women
· Responsible for supporting three women in the Borough of Camden
· Intensive support for complex needs with service users with a history of non-engagement with services
Accountabilities:
Casework
· Solution-focused casework interventions with women who have experienced VAWG and severe and multiple disadvantage
· Provide emotional support using a trauma informed approach
· Build and maintain supportive relationships with ethnically Minoritised women
· Ensure ongoing assessment and management of risks associated with service users within an attitude of ‘positive risk taking’
· Provide support with life skills, including practical assistance where skills are not yet developed
· Maintain accurate case notes and up to date records

The Service Manager will be responsible for the operations of a group of three specialist services, which support a total of seven customers with moderate to high support needs to live in their own homes. About the Role
Our Young Person’s Sanctuarys' Youth Mental Health Worker role will involve assessing needs and offering one to one support to service users to enable them to begin the process of improving their mental health and wellbeing and to providing clarity on services and pathways available in the area. The role will be part of a larger Young Persons Sanctuary team made up of YPS Youth Mental Health Workers, YPS Manager and volunteers.
Service Delivery
- Deliver crisis focussed 1:1s and ensure outcomes which supports young people experiencing a mental health crisis in Milton Keynes, in line with Mind BLMK’s agreed crisis service and requirements as well as contract requirements.
- Assessing need and suitability for the service in line with the access to services process and undertaking 1:1s.
- Contribute to maintaining an effective volunteer workforce for the service in line with Mind BLMK’s HR policies, procedures and guidance (workload planning and support).
- Carry out Cash Handling, Health and Safety and Data Collection responsibilities as directed by the Team Leader in line with Mind BLMK’s policies, procedures, requirements and guidance.
- Attendance to mandatory reflective practice is required for this role. It occurs once every six weeks for one and a half hours.

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Floating Support Worker to provide high quality practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic abuse and their children living in our dispersed refuge accommodation in Warwickshire. This service will provide emergency accommodation across Warwickshire with high-quality domestic abuse support, ‘by-and-for’ services for survivors of domestic abuse and their children.
The post holder will provide high quality support and safety planning to survivors and their children who are fleeing domestic abuse. This includes enabling survivors to access housing, welfare, benefits and legal advice. A key requirement is to provide personal welfare support and to ensure that survivors are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming environment in accordance with Refuge’s philosophical principles.
The Floating Support Worker (FSW) will carry a caseload of survivors of domestic abuse to enable them to provide a more holistic and intensive support package. They will work closely with survivors from the point of crisis through to move on from the emergency accommodation. FSWs will work in partnership with both statutory and voluntary sector partners to ensure that the whole range of survivors’ needs are met.
As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.

Horsham Y Centre provides 24-hour supported housing services offering medium levels of housing-related support for young people aged 16-25 with 50 bedspaces and shared communal facilities. We have a dedicated team of Support Workers, Night Workers and additional Bank Workers who provide support, guidance, and signposting around areas such as housing, budgeting, living skills, jobs, relationship building and wellbeing. Situated in the middle of Horsham, the service has strong links with and contributes to the local community.
We are looking for a Housing Night Worker to join our Horsham Y team. Main areas of responsibilities are:
Safety and security
- Provide a friendly and professional front-of-house welcome to residents, visitors and staff, and ensure the building is safe, secure quiet and welcoming
- Maximise the wellbeing of residents and visitors by ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols and house rules, all within the terms of tenancy agreements
- Assess and monitor the risks presented by residents to ensure they can keep themselves safe and, where possible, continue their development
- Record all incidents and accidents and share appropriately with the wider team, your manager and, if necessary, the central safeguarding team
Engagement with residents
- Welcome residents home and provide informal and responsive support so they can articulate their aspirations and ambitions and acquire the skills they need to live independent and fulfilling lives
- Ensure resident’s views, aspirations, concerns, and ideas are sought so they can play an active role in influencing the services they receive
- Proactively promote the services on offer and ensure residents are encouraged to engage with those services
- Contribute to, or support, evening groupwork activities so that residents can access tailored solutions that meet their needs, wishes and aspirations
Administration and housekeeping
- Undertake tasks as directed, including but not limited to: inputting data, assessments, reviews, case notes onto our client database and entering new residents details/closing ex-resident records
- Completing health and safety/compliance checks, and recording estate inspectors and room checks
- Adding maintenance requests to our property services system
General
- Work as part of a team, on a rota four on four off shift pattern, alongside another Housing Night Worker, ensuring young people at the service have non-judgemental, objective at night, along with taking responsibility for personal safety during periods of lone working
- Contribute to a great working environment, with a calm, yet assertive manner, being able to handle potentially difficult situations
- Participate in relevant continuing professional development and utilise Reflective Practice Supervision as part of leading psychologically informed practice

It offers a gateway for women and children experiencing domestic abuse by providing support, signposting, referrals and information about the services available to them.
The Deputy Helpline Manager will be working as part of a management team, leading, planning and delivering the service to ensure that it supports as many women as possible in line with Refuge’s strategic vision. They will be directly responsible for a large team of helpline staff and sessional workers and will work alongside the Volunteer Coordinators to support with the recruitment, training, induction and development of a large volunteer team.

We have recently secured new funding to increase our support across Cambridgeshire and therefore this role will predominately be based in the Cambridgeshire area.
The new funding will include launching our successful Perinatal support into the Cambridge area. As we have team and support spread across the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough there may be occasions for the successful candidate to travel across both areas.
The main purpose of this role is to deliver the support we offer to new parents in our area by providing a collection of tools and techniques to promote positive mental wellbeing through our groups and one to one sessions.
The successful candidates will have demonstrable awareness and understanding of how perinatal mental health problems affect women and men and their families and a positive approach to mental health, wellbeing and tackling stigma.
