In the role of Carer Information Coordinator, you'll be instrumental in scoping and developing our creation of information resources, working closely with our skilled staff team to ensure that the information is accurate, relevant and well presented.
Through the work of this role, we will reach and support more carers, provide easy access to information and advice, enable better navigation of services by carers, and help carers feel better connected. Carers will be better able to find information digitally at a time that works for them.

This role works within our Information and Advice Team and provides line management to two experienced welfare benefits advisors.

This hybrid role combines remote work with occasional travel to in-person meetings and activities across West Sussex, which may include some weekend engagements.

This is a full-time role in a well-established charity based in Twickenham. This role would suit someone who wants to have the opportunity to work flexibly and build their career in the Charity sector with experience of working in social care.

Richmond Carers Centre has the mission to help unpaid adult carers to live a full, active and meaningful life by providing them with advice, information, activities, breaks and emotional support either face to face, by phone or by email to enable them to live well.

As an Adult Carers Support Worker, you will be part of a small, dedicated team and take a lead on providing emotional support to adult carers and a commitment to enhancing their health and wellbeing. Much of your work will involve actively listening to carers, often via the phone support line, providing information, advice and support. As part of the Adult Carers Support Team, you will also be involved in organising breaks for carers, outreach activities and leisure events, as well as group work to help enhance carers’ health and wellbeing. Part of the role will also aim to improve the identification, recognition and understanding of the needs of adult carers, raise the profile of adult carers and ensure adult carers needs are met. You’ll also be expected to work with our volunteers and to use appropriate monitoring and evaluation reports to show our funders what we’ve achieved.

• To work where appropriate with other service providers/agencies to promote the carer agenda or jointly deliver carer support issues
• To be proactive in the registration of carers living or caring for someone within the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames
• To keep accurate records of group and individual carer engagement for monitoring and evaluation purposes
• To participate in key events organised by Richmond Carers Centre and other relevant partners to promote services to a wider public

This programme of work, based in Southwark, works among Latin American (Spanish and Portuguese-speaking) communities. The work is aimed at increasing awareness, uptake and understanding of HIV & sexual health testing, condom usage, PrEP uptake, and HIV treatment adherence alongside improving people's general health and wellbeing. The work is sessional and ad hoc, but hours will be between 5-15 hours per month. Shifts will be offered on a rota basis, Monday - Friday, with the possibility of evening and weekend working. The Resident Engagement Manager will be the organisational lead in a new and exciting lottery funded project leading a small team and overseeing the design and delivery of the LEAP service at Homeless Oxfordshire and with wider partners.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Provide leadership across the organisation on resident engagement, learning and skills, co-production and activities.
• To promote the active involvement of the resident’s experience and voice in the delivery, development and monitoring of LEAP service.

About LEAP

LEAP is built on the foundation of strong, supportive relationships that empower residents to move towards stable, independent living. Through one-to-one key worker support, trauma-informed care, and community engagement, residents rebuild trust, form friendships, and gain confidence. Activities like gardening, arts and crafts, and creative writing foster connection and personal growth, while group involvement helps residents feel part of a wider community. LEAP also supports residents to take steps into peer mentoring, volunteering, and training, helping them build positive networks beyond their immediate circle and develop the skills and confidence to thrive independently.

At LEAP, community involvement is at the heart of their work. Empowering residents through co-production is a key organisational goal. LEAP empowers people with lived experience of homelessness and/or addiction, helping them build the confidence and skills needed to move towards independent living and employment. Over three years, the project aims to support 750 individuals. Through a wide range of engaging and meaningful activities, residents will experience positive outcomes such as increased confidence, self-esteem, and a sense of inclusion. They will build supportive networks, learn key life skills and access training, volunteering, and employment opportunities. Many will gain qualifications and secure long-term accommodation. The project strengthens peer support and enables residents to shape services through formalised Residents’ Forums, ensuring their voices influence senior decision-making. For Homeless Oxfordshire, LEAP enhances our capacity to deliver peer-led support, builds staff knowledge, and informs service improvement. Wider community benefits include reduced stigma around homelessness, stronger partnerships with employers and organisations, and improved understanding of the issues faced by our residents—ultimately contributing to a more inclusive and compassionate society.

Claremont Park Community Centre is looking for a Centre & Community Coordinator to build on the strong foundations already in place, both within our Centre and across the wider community. About the role:

We are looking for Night Support Assistants to join our dedicated Youth Services team, supporting young people aged 16 and over in Lewisham and Greenwich. Working in a supported accommodation setting, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and nurturing environment for at risk young people and young people leaving care, helping them navigate their personal challenges and work towards their goals. Your presence and support at night are crucial to the overall wellbeing and development of the young people we serve.

You will be the first point of contact during the night, responding to incidents, emergencies, and any late-night activities. As a Night Supported Housing Assistant, you will be at the heart of this critical support system, playing a pivotal role in both the day-to-day function of the service and the long-term growth and wellbeing of the residents.

Rota patterns: Greenwich: 38 hours over Wed, Thurs, Sat, Sun. Lewisham post 1: 31.5 hours over two patterns - Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday. Lewisham post 2: 42 hours over Thurs, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 

About you:

• Proven ability of successfully working with vulnerable young people or young adults at-risk.
• Experience of working in a team delivering a quality customer focussed service.
• The ability to manage complex/challenging behaviours and adapt your approach according to those varying needs.
• Sound I.T and numerical skills.
• A flexible, resilient and thoughtful approach to your work.

Birmingham and Solihull Women’s aid have for over 40 years supported women and children with services around domestic violence and abuse. Could you be a part of our team as we continue our mission to end domestic violence and abuse? 

The region’s leading charity in tackling violence against women and girls, BSWA offers a helpline, webchat, drop in and and community support as well as emergency accommodation in six refuges across the area.  

Projects supports women in the criminal justice system, in healthcare settings, and throughout the community, offering support to women and children experiencing domestic violence. Alongside this, we also have colleagues offering training and consultancy to businesses and health and social care professionals alike, raising awareness on gender based violence issues.  

We seek like-minded women to join our enthusiastic team of workers, all of us passionate about the vital and valuable work we do to support women and children who have experienced domestic abuse, and tackling the wider issues of violence against women and girls. 

This role will develop and delivery family support and play sessions to children and their mothers in refuge and the community, as well as leading on domestice violence awareness sessions.

• As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will provide a caring, safe, secure and accepting environment that meets the physical, health, social needs and rights of the young people.
• You will maximise educational opportunities and achievements for the young people by assisting in identifying, establishing and supporting educational provision and contributing to educational reviews.
• You will also undertake direct work that is designed to meet the young person’s needs as identified within the care plan, enabling them to reach full their potential.  Supporting the young person’s significant relationships will be a part of this task.
• Under close supervision you will take responsibility for key working at least one young person.
• You will maintain accurate and up to date records of the work undertaken with the young people and complete written reports for planning meetings and statutory reviews as necessary. 
• Support young people with their individual personal care needs.  This can include full reliance upon you to change continence pads, assist with full body and hair wash, as well as dressing.   Or, encouraging them to be as independent as possible and washing/dressing themselves to progress with their skills development. 
• Undertake a range of domestic duties, including cooking and some cleaning, to a good standard, to ensure compliance with health and safety policies and the guidelines for young people and staff.

• Experience of working in a residential setting, undertaking the full range of duties in a well-planned way that respects & values the young people as individuals.
• Flexibility to respond to the needs of the unit and young people.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to write reports.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team, taking the lead when required, maintaining & encouraging open and honest communication.
• If you don’t have direct experience of working with children maybe you have transferrable skills to bring to the role.
