We do this via our grant giving service, which provides vital financial support to older people who are living in poverty. We also deliver services personalised to individual needs and integrated with local communities at our care homes and day centres.

About the role

This is a remote-first role open to candidates anywhere in the UK. You’ll join us in our Woking office just once a month for team collaboration days.

We are looking for an experienced trust fundraiser to join our small, busy fundraising team. You will:

• proactively nurture and grow our relationships with existing supporters
• develop relationships with new trusts and foundations, taking pride in excellent donor stewardship,
• create compelling funding applications, reports and communications which demonstrate our impact
• raise restricted and unrestricted money for our grant giving service and for enhancements to our care homes and day care services, which improve the lives of the older people.

Working partnerships

 Internal:

• Grants Team, Marketing and Communications Team, care homes and day care services, Estates and Facilities Team, Finance Team.

External:

• Consultants, agencies and suppliers.

Key objectives and responsibilities

• Be primarily responsible for researching and writing, prioritising, developing and submitting compelling proposals, updates and reports to trust donors.
• Maximise income by building and maintaining relationships with existing portfolio of trust donors through excellent relationship management.
• Use the database (Access Charity CRM) to maintain accurate and detailed records, manage relationships, and coordinate actions and deadlines.
• Research and identify new opportunities, and write and submit high quality, targeted proposals to secure support from new and lapsed funders.
• Prepare written reports on activities, progress and income against objectives.
• Ensure the impact of our work is clear, visible and effectively communicated in our social media, on our website and in our Impact Report.
• Liaise with internal staff to compile project information for funding applications, and build positive, professional relationships internally and externally.
• Gather case studies for use in fundraising communications, applications and reports.
• Undertake administrative duties such as thanking donors and other routine office procedures as required.
• Carry out other tasks as required by the Fundraising Manager and Fundraising Team.

This role will line manage the Development Assistant.

As Development Manager you will:

· Lead on creating and developing the Individual Giving strategy for the Cathedral, in consultation with the Director of Development.

· Deepen relationships with existing supporters by developing and delivering an impactful stewardship framework for individual donors.

· Work in consultation with the marketing team to create inspiring and relevant communication strategy for individual supporters with a focus on impact, to include regular feedback mechanisms to improve stewardship plans and engagement.

· Build the financial resilience of the Cathedral through developing individual prospecting processes, prospect research, and developing qualified prospect pipelines to secure income from individual supporters and major donors. With an initial focus on the Vicars’ Close project and developing in line with future priorities.

· Work with the Director of Development to develop an inspiring range of bespoke cultivation plans for Major Donors.

· Design, deliver and support a range of unique events to inspire supporters and cultivate new relationships, bringing to life the extraordinary work of the Cathedral. Work across the cathedral to integrate fundraising into existing events and programmes.

· Achieve results through persuasive and compelling proposals for Major Donors and creation of robust budgets. Amplify project impact through inspiring reports and personalised engagement opportunities.

· Develop, manage and deliver Wells Cathedral’s individual giving programmes, including Planned Giving, regular inspiring appeals and individual giving opportunities as part of priority projects.

· Strengthen supporter relationships across the organisation, working with the Cathedral leadership team, Chapter and project leads to support engagement with individual donors and Major Donors.

· Develop and implement plans to keep existing donors engaged, with opportunities to increase their level of giving over time and in line with projects and targeted appeals.

· Regularly report progress to the Development Director and Cathedral Chapter on the individual giving income pipeline, supporter engagement, upcoming opportunities, and challenges.

· Keep up to date with trends and good practice and identify opportunities to improve and develop Wells Cathedral’s individual giving.

· Utilise CRM as an effective Relationship Management tool and develop robust prospecting processes.

· As the Cathedral’s Gift in Wills strategy develops, support engagement opportunities for individual supporters and develop appropriate processes to support this area.

· Network and keep abreast of the wider funding landscape and giving trends to inform the strategy.

· Support the team through additional duties as reasonably required to assist the smooth and efficient running of the Development Team and maximise the impact of the fundraising function. Some weekend and out of hours working may be required.

Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) is the national charity caring for historic churches at risk. As the operator of the third largest heritage estate in charitable ownership in the UK, our 356 historic churches include examples of irreplaceable architecture, archaeology and art from 1,000 years of English history.

CCT has an international award-winning reputation in heritage conservation and regeneration. All churches in our care are listed, mostly Grade I and II*, and some are Scheduled Ancient Monuments.

Without our care, these buildings might have disappeared entirely. Instead, they are enjoyed as social, tourism, educational and cultural resources, kept open, in use, and living once again in the heart of their communities.

 

Overall job purpose

This is a fundamental role within our South regional team, internally the role is known as Local Community Officer.

The future of CCT’s outstanding collection of historic churches depends on communities supporting their local CCT church with funds, events, inspiring interpretation, visitor services and preventive conservation. The Local Community Officer will engage and support communities and volunteers to care for 29 historic churches across Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, ensuring each site achieves agreed standards.

· Lead on the strategic planning and implementation of income generation activities to help build sustainability of The Carers’ Centre and its services for 19,600 unpaid carers across Bath and North East Somerset.

· Develop and implement a stewardship programme for donors and funders building support and securing new income for The Carers’ Centre.

· Work collaboratively with colleagues to help deliver The Carers’ Centre vision for carers.

Income generation

· Design and deliver a diverse income generation plan to support philanthropy and fundraising in line with The Carers’ Centre Strategic Plan.

· Co-produce annual philanthropy and fundraising targets and take the lead responsibility to instigate and co-ordinate the activity that will achieve them.

· Build long-lasting relationships with key local philanthropists, donors, and funders.

· Work proactively with colleagues to research, identify and scope a portfolio of compelling projects and proposals that will appeal to donors and funders.

· Work closely with communication colleagues to develop appropriate communications campaigns and activities for different supporter groups.

· Contribute towards the charity’s communications and marketing strategy ensuring fundraising is embedded.

· Develop, maintain, and implement relevant policies and procedures in line with our growth plans.

Key Purpose:

To work as part of a team that provide high quality casework and grant applications to farming people that come to RABI for support.

We are recruiting for an Events Fundraising Manager within the Third Party and Organise Your Own (OYO) team. This is a full-time role, working 35 hours per week on a permanent contract.

This is an amazing opportunity to join our sector leading Third Party & Organise Your Own (OYO) team in a key managerial position. As Events Fundraising Manager, you’ll guide and inspire a talented and motivated team to deliver some of the UK’s most exciting fundraising events, contributing towards an ambitious £12M income target for 2025/26.

From strategic planning to on-the-day delivery, you’ll lead and project manage some of our highest value third party event programmes, including London Marathon and the Great Run Series. You’ll bring together internal stakeholder groups to maximise opportunities for recruitment, supporter engagement and income generation. Job Purpose

As Corporate Partnerships Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting and growing Jessie May’s corporate income. You’ll nurture existing partnerships while developing and managing a robust pipeline of new prospects, in line with our wider fundraising and organisational strategy.

Main Responsibilities

Relationship Management and Stewardship

Oversee the Share Bristol Frenchay Library of Things, ensuring it meets the needs of the local community, and work in partnership with the rest of the Share Bristol team to ensure the success of our charity and our Library of Things service.

This role is responsible for the day to day running of the Frenchay Library of Things, recruiting and supporting our volunteers, helping us engage with partner organisations, including UWE, managing our Thing donations and inventory, and assisting our current and potential members.

We’re looking for someone to start as soon as practical, and work around 12 hours a week. The working hours will be mainly around when we are open for lending sessions.
