As a Domestic Abuse Support Practitioner (Children and Young People) within SafeNet’s community team, you will:
- Build trusted, supportive relationships with children and young people, working both one-to-one and in group settings, ensuring they feel heard, safe and empowered.
- Provide a high-quality, proactive frontline service to children and young people affected by domestic abuse, supporting their emotional wellbeing and helping them feel safe.
- Work closely with parents or carers, promoting healthy relationships and supporting families to recover together.
- Assess risk and complete safety and support plans that are child-centred and inclusive.
- Ensure all support is trauma-informed, accessible, and inclusive to reflect the diverse needs of the community.

The role and your key responsibilities
As an Account Manager, your role is to make sure that all partners in your area make the most out of the Unifrog platform. You’ll build and maintain excellent working relationships with your partner schools and colleges, and provide expert guidance on how to embed the platform across all year groups.
You will cover your own area of the country with occasional travel to your partner schools and colleges (on average 1-2 days per week). Please note you will need to be based in Newcastle (or surrounding areas) for this role.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Work with schools and colleges to provide resources and strategies which maximise staff and student engagement with Unifrog, identifying and promoting best practice across partner schools.

Deliver targeted training sessions to staff within our partner schools and colleges via workshops and presentations, delivered remotely or in person.

Work with your partner Area Manager to improve Unifrog engagement and achieve a sky high resubscription rate.

Monitor and analyse usage across partner schools and colleges; identifying partners that need additional support to use the platform effectively.

Job Purpose
As the Marketing and Communications Lead at Gaddum, you will be at the forefront of shaping and delivering Gaddum’s marketing and communications strategy. Your work will raise awareness of our services and amplify the voices of those we support, helping to change perceptions around mental health, carers and community support.
Working with the Senior Leadership Team, you will lead on strategic campaign planning, media relations, stakeholder engagement, crisis communications and brand management. You will ensure that Gaddum’s brand and voice are consistently represented across all channels – internally and externally – and that our values are effectively communicated.
You will lead content creation, ensuring all marketing materials effectively showcase Gaddum’s services. By delivering clear, impactful messaging, you’ll strengthen our presence, expand our reach and reinforce Gaddum’s reputation as a trusted leader in mental health and carers’ support.
Main Duties
Strategy and collaboration
• Work closely with internal teams, SLT and external partners (including brand, communications, digital, media agencies, and national campaigns).
• Develop organisation-wide competencies around using the brand, and empower others to become brand ambassadors for Gaddum, ensuring best use of own and organisational resource.
• Support the development of new services through market research and audience insight to maximise marketing impact.

• Manage all aspects of visual content, including photography briefs, photoshoots and our image library.

Media and public relations
• Build and maintain relationships with media, key influencers and relevant organisations to increase Gaddum's profile locally and regionally.

• Train staff to effectively handle media requests and represent Gaddum confidently.
Impact storytelling
• Coproduce a bank of personal stories that demonstrate the impact of Gaddum’s work and challenge stigma around mental health, carers and the VCSE sector.

The purpose of the Interim People Development Manager role is to deliver high-impact learning and development services that help Refuge be a great place to work and support their strategic priorities. You will lead and motivate their small but high performing training team to roll out blended learning, accredited qualifications, leadership development, and a brand-new LMS. The Interim People Development Manager is a remote position with little need to attend their office in central London. The pro rata salary based on working 30 hours per week will be £42,400 + £2,400 London Weighting if you live in London or the home counties.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Leading and developing the Training & Learning team, delivering high-quality, customer-focused learning programmes including blended learning, onboarding, management development, and accredited training.
- Driving strategic learning initiatives by designing and implementing a training strategy, policies, and competency frameworks aligned with Refuge’s values and EDI principles.

We now have an exciting new role for a Wildlife and Wellbeing Assistant Manager within our Conservation Education and Engagement Directorate. This role is part of the Networks for Nature project team.
Networks for Nature spans c60 square miles from the River Dee to the River Mersey, including Chester and Ellesmere Port. This is a collaborative partnership project working with Cheshire West and Chester Local Authority, The Land Trust, Cheshire Wildlife Trust, Canal and River Trust, and Sustrans with the aim to drive nature recovery in a mixed-use landscape, creating diverse habitats for species to thrive now and for years to come. The Wildlife and Wellbeing Assistant Manager will lead the community engagement aspects of the Networks for Nature project. They will establish new and maintain existing community relationships, and lead on the development and delivery of a diverse programme of wildlife and wellbeing activities, with the overall aim of building the capacity of community groups, community leaders and other stakeholders within Networks for Nature project area and increasing connection and access to nature for community participants from diverse backgrounds. The Wildlife and Wellbeing Assistant Manager will also lead the development of a growing area of work around green social prescribing and work with local healthcare professionals to develop programmes that meet the needs of the community to harness the power of nature and wildlife for wellbeing. The Wildlife and Wellbeing Assistant Manager will line manage a Wildlife and Wellbeing Officer.
We’re looking for someone who can:
- Partnership and audience development: Manage existing and build new relationships with community groups to support their continued participation in the project and commitment to creating habitats for UK Wildlife. Build effective working relationships with internal and external partners in support of our community engagement and organisational aims.
- Community programme delivery: Develop and deliver a programme of family wildlife clubs, wildlife and wellbeing activities, green social prescribing, meetings, consultations and other activities, enabling community audiences to engage with Networks for Nature, working within a framework agreed by Networks for Nature Project Manager and meeting the requirements of the project Activity Plan. Ensure activities are designed to meet community needs, connect people to nature and support wellbeing using robust and evidence-based methods such as five ways to wellbeing and five pathways to Nature Connectedness.
- Capacity building: Share knowledge and build capacity in the area of nature and wellbeing, both internally and with community partners across the NFN area. Continue to develop own expertise in this area and ensure that the NFN project is informed by the latest good practice in relation to nature-based wellbeing work.
- Resource development: Research, write and co-ordinate the production of learning resources to support participation in the NFN.
- Evaluation and reporting: Work closely with the Networks for Nature Project Manager and external evaluator to devise and deliver an evaluation programme for the Networks for Nature project, including collection and collation of data from project participants. Lead on the measurement of wellbeing outcomes across the project, working closely with the project evaluator and NFN Project Manager to ensure a holistic approach to evaluation and reporting.
- Compliance: Ensure that all activities delivered within communities are safe and appropriately risk assessed, inclusive and that safeguarding has been fully considered.
- Budget management: Take primary responsibility for monitoring the project budget relevant to community engagement, under the guidance of the NFN Project Manager and Senior Community Participation and Engagement Manager.
- Staff management and development: Manage the Wildlife and Wellbeing Officer, overseeing their training programme, and providing continuous support for their professional development.

Our Requirements
- An understanding & affinity to the organisation’s mission, vision & values, with an interest in the conservation of UK nature.
- Experience coordinating and administering community programmes and projects, preferably within a zoo, aquarium or other environmental education or conservation focused organisation and with high levels of participation/co-development.
- Subject knowledge: The post holder will have knowledge and understanding of the health and wellbeing benefits of fostering a connection to nature, including practical understanding of the evidence-based models used in this area. The post holder also requires a working knowledge of conservation and the key issues threatening the natural world today, particularly with a focus on UK native species.
- Experience working collaboratively with a wide range of community partners, including stakeholder engagement.
- Experience of using learning programmes to bring about social change, ideally encouraging sustainable behaviours and supporting wellbeing.
- Relevant experience leading training and/or delivering workshops with a range of audiences from a wide variety of backgrounds.
- Experience developing high quality resources for learning, both paper based and digitally.

As a Debt Advice Caseworker, you will provide high quality advice and casework services to our clients who call through to our national help desk. The role and your key responsibilities
As an Account Manager, your role is to make sure that all partners in your area make the most out of the Unifrog platform. The Bumblebee Conservation Trust (the Trust) is looking for a part-time, 28 hours per week, Marketing Communications Manager.

Your role will be to lead the Marketing and Communications team to develop and deliver a Marketing and Communications Plan that inspires and enables people from all backgrounds to take action to support bumblebees. Actions may include donating/ fundraising, political advocacy, volunteering/ surveying, or creating bumblebee habitats (everything from a window box up!).
You will work with colleagues across the Trust to deliver both national and project level campaigns and strengthen the Trust’s brand, website, PR, and social media engagement.
You will be a self-motivated creative thinker with proven leadership and management skills and experience in delivering engaging campaigns across a variety of media channels.

This is a part-time post for 28 hours per week. Some overtime work may be required and a flexitime system is in place.
This post will be employed on a permanent basis and can be based at the Trust’s office in Stirling, be home-based or be a hybrid between the Trust’s office in Stirling and home-working.

As a Domestic Abuse Support Practitioner (Children and Young People) within SafeNet’s community team, you will:
- Build trusted, supportive relationships with children and young people, working both one-to-one and in group settings, ensuring they feel heard, safe and empowered.
- Provide a high-quality, proactive frontline service to children and young people affected by domestic abuse, supporting their emotional wellbeing and helping them feel safe.
- Work closely with parents or carers, promoting healthy relationships and supporting families to recover together.
- Assess risk and complete safety and support plans that are child-centred and inclusive.
- Ensure all support is trauma-informed, accessible, and inclusive to reflect the diverse needs of the community.

What We’re Looking For
We believe in recruiting for potential as well as experience. Our ideal candidate will have:
- Experience supporting and advocating for parents through Safeguarding/Child Protection processes and the Family Court System.
- The ability to work directly with children and young people, both individually and in group sessions, using creative and age-appropriate approaches to help them express themselves and recover from the impact of domestic abuse.
- A commitment to helping families rebuild relationships that may have been affected by abuse.
- Confidence in organising and facilitating structured activities for children aged 0–18, enabling learning, development, and fun in a safe environment.
- Experience of contributing to reports for Courts and Children’s Social Care conferences and meetings regarding the families you support.
