Transport for All’s communications are key to our work. We are a small but mighty charity. Each year we speak to hundreds of journalists, reach thousands of people through our website, and engage with hundreds of thousands of people through our social media feeds.

Our highly successful newsletter reaches disabled people, the transport industry, and decision makers. Our award-winning campaigns team creates compelling narratives that challenge and change systems.

Over the last few years our reach and membership has grown in size and profile. This role will support a continuation of that growth, producing engaging content that connects with people, attracting new members and supporters, ensuring people can access our advice services, and helping us achieve justice in society – where disabled people’s voices are amplified, and our message is heard and acted upon.

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as an IGVA supporting women and children who are impacted by different strands of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). The independent gender violence advocate will work closely with victims of gender-based violence from the point of crisis, to provide high quality independent advocacy and support to survivors of gender-based violence at the highest risk and their children.

The role will be part of increasing the ability of partner agencies to recognise, reject and respond appropriately and safely to all forms of gender-based violence (including domestic violence, sexual, financial and emotional abuse, female genital mutilation, forced marriage and honour-based violence). The job involves working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership protocols and procedures that prioritise the safety of survivors. Richard House helps children and their families in East London to lead as happy a life as possible when dealing with a life-limiting health condition. From the moment a child is diagnosed with a life-limiting, life-threatening or complex health condition everything changes. These changes affect the whole family, which is why Richard House feel it is vital not only to provide care to the child but to support the whole family. As a member of the fundraising team, you will directly support the charity’s work, as the majority of their services are funded thanks to the generosity of their supporters. 

The Corporate Fundraiser will be responsible for managing a portfolio of prospects and partners, ensuring a first-class cultivation and stewardship journey. Key responsibilities will include prospect research and new business development, compelling proposal and proposition creation, account management and event and campaign planning. The role will be hands on, focused on operational fundraising that delivers crucial short- and medium-term funding impact, as well as longer-term and sustainable corporate income for Richard House.

This Corporate Fundraiser role is offered on an interim basis, but with the option to become permanent.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

• Proven ability to deliver income and activity targets in corporate fundraising, with a strong knowledge of corporate fundraising techniques.

About the role

We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Officer with paid advertising and organic social media experience to join our Digital team.

As Digital Marketing Officer, you’ll be responsible for creating email marketing campaigns, running paid advertising activity and creating content across organic social channels to help teams across the organisation hit their objectives. You’ll be joining our friendly and expert Digital Engagement Team. 

You’ll have previous experience managing email and paid marketing campaigns, creating content for social channels and using digital platforms including Meta Business Manager, Email Service Providers and GA4.

• Be part of the team’s social media monitoring rota and moderate our social channels - ensuring comments are appropriately handled in line with the social media policy

About the Role

As a Campaign Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and maximising fundraising opportunities across our entire portfolio of campaigns, with a strong emphasis on our broadcast initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies for all monthly and evergreen campaigns, with a primary focus on delivery in our on-air and digital broadcasts.
• Collaborating with internal teams, including production, to create compelling and effective content for all fundraising campaigns, particularly for on-air appeals.
• Co-ordinating the end-to-end delivery of fundraising campaigns, ensuring they are aligned with our strategic goals.
• Cultivating and managing relationships with existing and potential donors, ensuring a positive supporter journey.
• Analysing fundraising performance data across all campaigns and optimising results to achieve targets.
• With the Head of Partnerships, overseeing the development of campaign materials, including on-air fundraising scripts and digital content appeals which feed into our direct mail, church engagement and events fundraising.
• Ensuring all fundraising activities are in line with our charitable aims, fundraising approach, and missional pillars (Souls, Israel, Revival).

The consultant will lead investigations into the ‘The UK’s benefit from funded Health Partnerships under the DHSC funded GHWP’.

As benefit back to the UK becomes increasingly important in the evolving funding landscape, GHP is commissioning a study to explore and examine the value of DHSC-funded health partnerships to the UK health system. While bi-directional learning and mutual benefit have been highlighted through GHWP reports and sharing and learning events, these insights have not yet been fully synthesised or clearly articulated in a way that supports future funding and policy positioning.

We wish to commission a short-term consultancy to review and examine existing literature and data, including published and grey literature, including GHWP reports, reports from other DHSC-funded GHP projects, and other available documentation on the benefits of global health engagement to the UK. (see Related Papers section). 

Some qualitative data collection may potentially be involved.

Assignment 

Aim  

The aim is to produce a concise, evidence-based report that captures key themes such as professional development, system learning, innovation exchange, and reputational value, demonstrating the tangible and strategic returns to the UK from its investment in global health and global health partnerships.  

Objectives 

1. To identify and analyse the professional and institutional gains for UK health workers and organisations involved in the implementation of the GHWP. 

1. To assess how the GHWP work has contributed to UK health worker and health system strengthening, innovation, and global health leadership. 

1. To build on existing literature and evaluations, including from other DHSC-funded GHP programmes to provide a robust evidence base for the mutual benefits of global health partnerships. 

Outcomes  

• Re-centre Health Partnerships as a key component of the UK’s global health offer, showcasing benefits to the UK.   

• Encourage greater support within the NHS for institutional engagement in global health and support within the UK Government for increased spending on global health. 

Lead Knowledge Mobilisation for Central Research Question 

Focus areas:  

Examine the benefits of Health Partnerships for the UK, using and building on GHP and other data and evidence. 

Indicative areas of focus (to be finalised in consultation with the GHP team)  

• In what ways have GHP been successful in bringing benefits to the UK at an institutional as well as individual level?   

• How has GHWP work in Ghana, Kenya and Nigeria provided tangible and strategic benefits to the UK? 

• Highlight through selected case studies how UK individuals and institutions are benefitting personally/professionally because of Health Partnership work.  

• Provide examples of how global health innovations and/or ways of working are benefitting UK institutions because of Health Partnerships work, and/or the engagement of diaspora health workers in Health Partnerships. 

In the submission the consultant should submit a technical proposal outlining the approach and methodology for the study, including the key research questions. This will then be developed further with the GHP team. 

Methodology  

Desk review to include the following: 

• GHWP reports (HP reports as well as GHP reporting to DHSC)

• Available GHWP quantitative and qualitative data. 

• Other DHSC-funded programme reporting and material where feasible. 

• Published literature examining the benefits of Health Partnerships to the UK. 

Qualitative data collection 

Key informant and in-depth interviews and focus group discussions, if required 

Proposed Timeframe  

The work is to be undertaken between August and November 2025. 

Contractual Responsibilities  

Reports to: The Technical Director, based in the UK, who will provide technical oversight of the study. The Consultant will be responsible for managing their workload and conducting the activities in a timely and efficient manner as set out in this document. The Consultant will agree with the Technical Director which aspects to prioritise. The Consultant will also have regular reporting points with the Head of the Evidence and Impact Team and other GHWP colleagues, as required. 

The contract will run from August 2025 over a 4month period. The Consultant will submit a technical proposal and budget of up to £14,000 for the whole programme of work. The consultant will invoice GHP on a monthly basis. Please note that this is non-negotiable. 

Key Deliverables and Dates  

• Scope of Work and technical proposal (co-produced with GHP) 

• Draft Report  

• Power point presentation and evidence brief (summary report) of key findings and recommendations 

• Final report submitted November 2025 

Essential Qualifications and Experience: 

• Postgraduate degree in Global Health, Public Health, Health Policy, International Development, or a related field. 

• Proven experience in health systems research, particularly in the context of global health partnerships or workforce development. 

• Familiarity with the UK health system (e.g., NHS) and its global health engagement strategies. 

• Experience working with or evaluating global health partnerships, ideally involving LMICs such as Ghana, Nigeria, or Kenya. 

Skills and Competencies: 

• Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills, including data collection, analysis, and synthesis. 

• Ability to critically appraise and integrate evidence from diverse sources (e.g., programme reports, academic literature, policy documents). 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing reports, policy briefs, or academic publications. 

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to liaise with UK institutions, diaspora health professionals, and international partners. 

• Competence in using research tools and software (e.g., NVivo, SPSS, Excel, or data visualization platforms). 

Desirable Attributes: 

• Experience working with or through organisations like Global Health Partnerships (formerly THET), NHS Global Health Partnerships, or UK FCDO-funded programmes. 

• Knowledge of health workforce development frameworks and global health diplomacy. 

• Understanding of diaspora engagement in health systems strengthening. 

• Ability to work independently and manage timelines for deliverables. 

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Specialist Trainer: Domestic Abuse, Gender-Based Violence, and Trauma Informed Working to deliver training to a variety of different audiences. You will be delivering training on an ad-hoc basis, in a range of settings including corporate clients, public sector workers, and other charities.

We are seeking trainers with both frontline and training experience, who can deliver this type of content in compassionate, articulate and accessible ways both in person and online. Rise for Change is dedicated to creating learning spaces that are safe for all folks, in content and delivery style. 

Rise for Change is the training arm of Hope After Harm and currently provides domestic abuse, sexual harassment, and trauma-informed working training programmes for non-specialist professionals, however, we are aiming to expand our training offer to cover other areas of gender-based violence. Uniquely created by our subject matter experts, our training directly addresses the need for intersectional, and trauma informed training on gender-based violence for professionals in all sectors. We actively promote self-reflection, critical thinking and survivor voice to affect sustainable, inclusive change for survivors. Our aim is to empower participants, no matter their professional role, to be able to respond safely and appropriately to survivors both within the workplace and in the wider scope of their lives.

• Deliver specialist training about domestic abuse, gender-based violence and trauma informed working to a range of clients, primarily online with some face-to-face sessions.
• Ensure that the way they work is aligned with the values of our team.
• Respect and value the diversity of the community in which the training will be delivered and recognise the needs and concerns of a diverse range of clients, ensuring the service is accessible to all.
• Respect and uphold the value and necessity of intersectionality within domestic abuse and sexual violence prevention and safeguarding, across all areas of work.
• Treat all participants with respect and care, positively representing Rise for Change and Hope After Harm in every interaction.
• Encourage feedback from participants for each session delivered to support with the continued development of Rise for Change training programmes.
• Undertake any training and continued professional development required for the role.
• Uphold GDPR and confidentiality of any data and content whilst in this role.
• Complete any necessary admin, as required as part of the session delivery.

This is what you will bring as a Specialist Trainer:

• A strong knowledge of domestic abuse and other forms of gender-based violence, it’s impacts and working from a trauma-informed perspective.
• Experience as a highly skilled trainer, with the ability to engage people through both in person and remote delivery.
• Preferably, frontline experience of supporting survivors of gender-based violence.
• Understanding of supporting survivors in various settings (e.g. the workforce, as a manager, as a professional with a safeguarding role).
• An empathetic, caring approach to training- to you, learning is not just about providing information but ensuring a holistic approach to the learning environment.
• Skilled user of technology with high literacy of key presenting programmes, video platforms and databases.
• Have a good understanding of the nuances of culture, race, sexual orientation and gender identity within domestic abuse and sexual violence, and be committed to intersectional ways of working.
• Knowledge of adult learning techniques and safeguarding procedures.
• Have excellent communication, negotiation and advisory skills, both written and verbal when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals.
• Places the survivor at the centre of all that you do.

For this role you will need:

• To be free from any criminal conviction which would conflict with the responsibilities of the post; you may be required to have a DBS Enhanced disclosure.
• To be able to deal with all information on a confidential basis and understand data protection requirements.

Job description

Reporting to the Managing Director and in coordination with the Artistic Director and Deputy Artistic Director, you will handle the orchestra’s diary, lead on the production of projects and line manage the Orchestra & Tour Manager and our Production freelancers.

Your responsibilities will be:

· Attending all Chineke! rehearsals, projects and tours

· Working closely with the artistic team to assist on curation of programmes, keeping track of conductor/soloist invites and handling contracting once bookings have been confirmed

· Meeting with venues to generate interest in our future programmes and secure concert dates to build out regional tours around core Southbank Centre dates

· Keeping the Development Director and Marketing and Communications Manager up to date on projects and future plans

· Keeping track of our National Portfolio Organisation requirements with Arts Council and planning projects to meet our targets on the number of concerts in each category that we have committed to in each financial year

· Working closely with our important partners i.e. Askonas Holt, Southbank Centre, Woolwich Works, Royal Albert Hall

· Working closely with the Artistic Team and Managing Director to ensure that our performance plans align with our mission and 5 Year Development Plan

Role 2 - Research Assistant (Fixed Term 12 Month Contract)

The Fabian Society is also hiring a Research Assistant on a 12-month development contract to support the new Fabian Housing Centre, as well as wider projects across the research team.

We are launching the 2025-2026 Macmillan Clinical Fellowship programme. This is an exciting new programme, key in the implementation of our new ambitious 2025-2030 strategy.

The MDT fellow will be based in Centre of Clinical Expertise and be part of the core strategic group looking at Variation in Treatment and Care. Cancer MDTs are well established in the NHS as a core part of cancer care but significant variation in impact and efficiency exists and the role of the patient voice is often not prominent enough. The fellow will work across the organisation and form influential external relationships to support Macmillan to work with Health Care Systems across the UK to improve MDT ways of working.

This role will be both beneficial to Macmillan in helping to improve the lives of people living with cancer, as well as provide the successful candidate with a potentially career changing opportunity. 

The fellow will be part of a highly motivated, inspirational and supportive team and be given mentorship support throughout the fellowship.
