Shelter is looking for a Digital Fundraising and Marketing Manager within our Community and Events team to fuel our fight for home.

About the team
This exciting opportunity sits in Shelter’s Community & Events department in Shelter’s Income Generation Directorate.
Community & Events is made up of our Community Fundraising, Supporter Experience, Digital Fundraising & Marketing and Mass Participation teams, across the team we look after a wide range of fundraising activities encouraging supporters to raise money and providing them with the support to do so.
This role as Digital Fundraising and Marketing Manager sits within Shelter’s Digital Fundraising and Marketing team.
About the role
Line managed by the Senior Digital Fundraising Manager, you will work closely with Community & Events team members, as well as colleagues across the organisation - including Digital, Marketing, CRM and Income Generation Digital Leads – to ensure the Community & Events digital strategy is implemented effectively.

About you
You bring strong digital expertise from a fundraising or marketing environment, with hands‑on experience using tools like Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, Canva, and Google Analytics. You understand best practice in marketing communications, can implement and optimise digital strategies, and are confident in setting meaningful KPIs and reporting on performance. Audience‑led and supporter‑centric, you are dedicated to delivering excellent digital experiences that drive acquisition and income growth.
You’re an effective communicator and collaborative team player, able to work confidently across teams and build positive, influential relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Skilled in managing multiple projects at once, you’re comfortable contributing to data processes and using insights to guide decisions. You thrive in innovative, fast‑paced environments—testing, learning and adapting to improve outcomes, and sharing successes and failures openly.
Results‑driven and curious about the Community & Events fundraising market, you excel at translating data into clear, actionable recommendations for non‑technical audiences. You actively champion diversity and inclusion, leading by example and encouraging inclusive thinking in others. Flexible and adaptable, you enjoy horizon scanning for new opportunities, implementing new tools or channels, and evolving approaches throughout product development and delivery.

Do you have proven experience of developing products to take to market, possibly in a fundraising environment, plus great leadership skills and a real appetite for innovation? Then join Shelter as a Innovation Lead and you could soon be playing a key role within our Product Development & Innovation team.
About the role
The role will involve leading the development and continuous improvement of an audience-led innovation framework, designed to grow committed giving and drive income. You will act as the subject matter expert, partnering with senior leaders across Income Generation teams to deliver best in class products aligned with strategic goals, while leading horizon scanning and deliver test and learn trials to establish the potential for innovation projects.
You’ll champion a collaborative matrix working culture within Fundraising and across the organisation and co-create KPI frameworks that enable rapid learning and scaling and use data-driven insights to shape inclusive, high impact products. Alongside overseeing budgets, building robust business cases and supporting long-term financial planning. You will also guide team performance and embed a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the organisation.
About you
We’re looking for a confident and adaptable leader who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and brings strong management experience with the ability to motivate and develop others. You’ll have a proven track record of taking products to market (ideally within fundraising), combined with excellent collaboration, influencing and negotiation skills. Comfortable working in a matrix structure, you’ll be skilled at leading and embedding change, taking calculated risks, and staying ahead of emerging trends through proactive horizon scanning. Above all, you’ll bring a growth mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement, helping drive innovation and high performance across teams.

The Product Development & Innovation Team sits within Fundraising Enablement, the function that connects and accelerates all income-generating activity across the organisation. Acting as both strategic partners and innovation drivers, the team works closely with income generation teams to ensure products are insight-led, audience-focused and aligned to strategic priorities, while also leading a forward-thinking innovation agenda that explores new income streams and develops high-value opportunities beyond the existing portfolio.

About the role
The Programme and Project Support Officer will support the delivery of key projects and programmes of work driven by the Strategy Enablement function.
They will ensure programmes and projects run smoothly by supporting the administration, co-ordination and reporting related to the projects, programmes and their workstreams. The role will ensure that programmes are supported with accurate and up to date information and will keep key programme artefacts such as timelines up to date.
Role specifics
As a Programme and Project Support Officer, you’ll work closely with the Senior Programme Manager, you’ll organise meetings and workshops, take clear minutes, track actions and maintain key programme tools such as RAID logs, dashboards and plans. You’ll support communication with stakeholders by preparing briefings, presentations and materials, and help ensure project data is accurate and up to date. You’ll also contribute to maintaining good programme governance, document control and benefit tracking, helping teams stay organised and on track. We’re looking for someone with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and experience supporting programmes or projects, who is confident using tools such as Microsoft Office and project tracking systems.
