As a Customer Services Advisor - Outbound calling , you’ll be the friendly and trusted voice of BHF building meaningful relationships with our customers, supporters, and fundraisers. You’ll play a key role in shaping perceptions, influencing engagement, and stewarding long-term connections through outbound calling and responsive support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Connecting with our BHF supporters through outbound calls, supporting their training schedules, fundraising, and promoting major events like the London Marathon and the London to Brighton Bike Ride.
• Responding to and resolving inbound queries via telephone, email, social media, and live web chat.
• Providing information, taking donations, and resolving customer queries and feedback.
• Using our ticketing and CRM systems to update customer records.
• Enhancing satisfaction and relationships through stewardship activities.

Working Arrangements

• 2 x Permanent contract and 5 x 6-month Fixed Term Contract starting on 14th Jan 2026 .
• Working Hours: Normal working hours are 09:00am to 05:00pm, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work 11:00am - 07:00pm and some Saturdays during peak event season.
• Hybrid Role: A week typically involves 1 day a week (usually Wednesdays) in our Birmingham office (B37 7YE) to collaborate with your team and other 4 days will be working remotely at home.

Interview Process

Our interview process involves two stages:

• Initial Stage: One-way video interview, allowing you to record responses to pre-set questions at your convenience, showcasing your personality, skills, and experiences.

• Second Stage: Assessment Centres will be held in person at our Birmingham Office (B37 7YE) on 2nd 3rd and 4th December 2025. Please note that these dates are fixed and cannot be changed.

Start Date & Induction:

All new team members will start on 14th Jan 2026, and this date is not negotiable. The induction training will last for four weeks, during which you will be required to come into the office more frequently. After completing the training, your office attendance will reduce to once a week.

This is a pivotal senior leadership role within Dementia UK, responsible for shaping and delivering the charity’s UK-wide policy and public affairs strategy to drive meaningful change for people affected by dementia.

The Head of Policy and Public Affairs will lead a dynamic team, providing strategic direction and expert insights to ensure the organisation’s influencing work is impactful, evidence-based, and aligned with its 2025–2030 strategy.

The postholder will play a central role in positioning Dementia UK as a thought leader in dementia care, championing the role of Admiral Nurses and ensuring that the lived experiences of people with dementia and their families are embedded in all policy outputs and public affairs activity.

Working closely with the Deputy Director of Policy, Campaigns and Public Affairs, and the Head of Campaigns, the postholder will lead the development and implementation of integrated influencing strategies across the UK, recognising the nuances of devolved governments and regional contexts. They will build and maintain relationships with high impact stakeholders in parliament, government, and across the sector to secure tangible policy improvements in dementia care and support.

To be successful in this role, you will bring significant experience working within policy and public affairs with proven experience of leading policy development from evidence-gathering through to publication and implementation. You will have a proven ability to lead, inspire and manage teams alongside a deep understanding of UK health and social care systems, including devolved policy landscapes in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

The CAS Community Food Partnership is intended to support Food Projects (i.e., Foodbanks, Food Pantries, Top Up Shops, & Community Fridges to name a few) with capacity building and diversifying their operations – enabling them to support their communities and users, with overcoming challenges related to food and income insecurity. Role overview

An exciting opportunity for a creative and highly motivated candidate with strong technical expertise to help increase Global Canopy's impact by making world-leading environmental and financial data more accessible to our key audiences in the finance sector, business and civil society. 

The role will focus on the DEFT Pathway and related products. DEFT is a transparent, easy-to-use framework that maps out practical steps for companies to transition to deforestation-free supply chains. Hosted by best-in-class data platform Forest IQ, DEFT Pathway helps financial institutions to engage effectively with companies on deforestation. 

A key objective is to make the DEFT Pathway data accessible by building user-friendly frontend components. The data is complex and multi-dimensional and will require considerable creativity to communicate in an understandable and compelling way in order to maximise its impact. You will collaborate with designers, researchers and product managers to fulfill these aims.

As a full stack developer, you will also design and implement the backend to allow the data powering the visualisations to be accessed in a secure way. You will work with data engineers and researchers to ensure the database is well-structured and that queries are performant.

The tech team is small, so you will need to operate with a high degree of independence, and will have the opportunity to influence key technical decisions. We are looking for someone who finds this prospect exciting rather than daunting! 

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, these are the things that will matter the most: 

• Excellent full stack web development skills, ideally using python and typescript
• Knowledge of python frameworks for the backend, such as FastAPI, Flask and/or Django
• Knowledge of javascript frameworks for the frontend (preferably React/Next.js), and common data visualisation libraries such as d3
• Experience querying PostgreSQL databases, potentially using SQLAlchemy as an ORM
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS

Essential behavioural competencies: 

• Self-starter, happy working in a small team with a large degree of independence
• A keen eye for quality, and an appreciation of the importance of automated testing
• A desire to follow industry standard software development processes

Benefits

Salary: £60K full-time equivalent. This role sits within Band C on Global Canopy’s remuneration framework.
Nature of contract: Full time (37.5 hours) or part time (30 hours, 0.8 FTE). Fixed term for 21 months (approximately the end of 2027). We are a flexible employer and welcome candidates wishing to work flexibly.
Base: Our office is in Oxford, UK with flexible home-working arrangements in place.

Summary of the role:

The Income Generation Support Officer will provide day-to-day administrative departmental support and support to the department Director to ensure the successful delivery of the organisation’s operations in an efficient manner. This role will focus on generating reports, tracking progress, and ensuring all the necessary processes relating to compliance, finance and HR are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

About the Role:

1. Maintain and improve departmental filing systems to achieve maximum efficiency.
2. Prepare purchase orders and document payments according to Muslim Aid’s financial procedure and in conjunction with the Finance team to ensure speedy payment of invoices for internal / external stakeholders.
3. Undertake small-scale project work including researching, analysing and recommending next steps.
4. Provide support to the IGM management team in responding to correspondence, booking meetings, minute-taking, planning and supporting events, organising travel and preparing travel itineraries and relevant tasks as required.
5. Track Managers delivery of action points to ensure timeframes and outcomes are met, escalating to Head or Director of IGM for further action as appropriate.
6. Undertake full inbox and extensive diary management, ensuring an effective use of time and preparation of information in advance. Sort, redirect and action emails and review an effective ‘bring up’ system to brief and prepare the Director Income Generation and Marketing for meetings / events.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated major gifts fundraiser to join our small fundraising team to support our ambitious goal to raise £20 million in support of the Be the Spark campaign.

This role is perfect for a collaborative self-starter who wants to make an impact, working at all levels of the organisation to maximise the relationships that will enable the Ri to succeed. You will be used to managing a portfolio of donors or high value clients and be comfortable working with donors at the highest levels.

Job Purpose

The Oxbridge Programme Manager will be responsible for the development and delivery of the Explore Oxbridge programme. They will work closely with the Head of Student Opportunities to plan and develop the programme.

The role will involve the management and coordination of a comprehensive package of support for students from Year 9 / S2 upwards. This includes workshops, webinars, day trips and residentials designed to increase student knowledge about studying at selective universities, in particular The University of Oxford and The University of Cambridge.

The role will involve stewardship of various stakeholders, including Oxbridge colleges and IU school partners. The Programme Manager will work closely with the wider Student Opportunities team and IntoUniversity centre teams to ensure students are benefitting from the programme.

The Explore Oxbridge programme is open to students who are either currently being supported by IntoUniversity centres (typically students aged 14-18 years) or IntoUniversity Student Associates (IU alumni). The programme offered to students will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Eligibility for the role

In order to be eligible for the role, applicants will:

• Have completed an undergraduate degree to a 2.2 or higher.
• Have achieved a grade C or higher in GCSE Maths and English/ achieved National 5s or Standard Grade at Credit level (grades 1-2) in Maths and English (or equivalent).
• Have EITHER a minimum of 18 months full-time paid experience working in a delivery role at IntoUniversity; OR a minimum of 2 years full-time paid or voluntary experience working with children and young people, either at IntoUniversity, or external organisations, or a combination of both. Please note that we will not take part-time, seasonal or ad-hoc work into account when calculating the length of full-time experience.
• Have the right to work in the UK (please note that as a charity we do not have the capacity to sponsor work visas).
• Be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge of the Oxbridge application and admissions process and how to translate this into engaging, differentiated and age-appropriate materials, programmes and content.

The Role

As Policy and Data Insight Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Cancer Insight Team to develop policy papers and present data on cancer in Yorkshire. You will also provide administrative support across the team to help others deliver a variety of workstreams.

You will perform a range of tasks to support the Cancer Insight Team's goals. This involves informing internal employees, supporters, and the public about the charity’s stance on multiple cancer-related topics. Additionally, you will assist with collecting and sharing data and evidence related to cancer in Yorkshire, crucial for understanding regional needs and shaping the charity’s objectives.

Specifically, you will:

Policy

• Support the Policy Officer to conduct literature reviews and research for policy development and updates.
• Monitor political announcements, health and research policy activity and cancer-related news at a national and regional level to inform the policy workstream.
• Assist with the drafting of consultation responses, policy reports, background resources and ensuring that the correct messages are conveyed in every external-facing communication.

Data

• Support the Data and Impact Officer in the maintenance of a portfolio of regularly updated external data, facts, statistics and evidence relevant to cancer in Yorkshire.
• Support the preparation of reports on various cancer related topics for external and internal audiences, including assisting with the regularly updated factsheets.
• Assist in the preparation of data requests from across the charity - these will largely be to support the Research, Policy & Impact, and Brand & Relationships teams, and could include data and information for press releases, social media, presentations and planning of future work and priority areas.

General

• Handle regular liaison between internal teams e.g. policy development for external dissemination.
• Support Cancer Insight Team members in monitoring and updating timeframes across various projects to ensure outputs are on track to be delivered on time.
• Undertake regular administrative, research and analysis tasks as required for the wider Cancer Insight Team such as across the Public Affairs and Patient & Public Involvement workstreams.
• Provide administrative support in organising meetings and events, as well as taking minutes at internal and external meetings and ensuring tracking of action points.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

· Previous experience in a relevant subject area, for example public health, public policy or similar fields.

· Experience of conducting literature reviews.

· Experience of researching a wide variety of topics and organisations and writing evidence-based documents e.g. summary reports, briefings or consultation responses.

· Experience of analysing and presenting complex data and information, tailored to different audiences.

· Experience of organising meetings and supporting the organisation/administration of small events.

We are seeking two compassionate and patient Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will work closely with students who require additional support to reach their full potential. Your primary responsibility will be to create a positive and inclusive learning environment while providing individualised assistance to students with varying needs.

About the Role

This exciting Fundraising and Engagement Officer role will be part of the Fundraising and Engagement team to ensure that the delivery of Mind BLMK’s current and future offer of fundraising and engagement are effectively delivered. As someone who is passionate about helping people who have been through, or are considering life-changing surgery, your empathetic approach, high standards and professionalism together with your excellent clinical knowledge and experience will put the patient at the heart of everything that you do.

In addition to direct support through one of our many communications channels, your clinical experience will help us to further our charitable aims, developing additional strategic services supported by our team of staff, trustees and volunteers, many of whom have been through life changing surgery themselves.

As someone who is flexible in their approach and is prepared to think outside of the box, each day will offer a different challenge. Whether you are representing IA at external meetings, on various multi-disciplinary committees or advocating for improvements in products and services available to people living with a stoma and internal pouch, your strong voice and stakeholder management skills will represent both the charity and the voice of the patient.
