We are seeking an experienced practitioner with knowledge of the criminal justice system and working in partnership with statutory agencies, and familiar with the role of MAPPA. The post holder will need to be confident in the assessment and support of those convicted of sexual offences and will hold a case load of service users along with the oversight and management of volunteers who provide interventions to service users in the community.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Homicide Family Caseworker to join our team, you will be based in the Avon and Somerset area working 22.5 hours a week. The team you will be joining covers the Southwest of England.

About the role:
You will be joining a passionate and committed team who provide high quality and bespoke support to service users. We pride ourselves on exceptional trauma informed advocacy and support to all service users.

Once in post you will benefit from the mandatory comprehensive training programme which will build on your existing skills and experience to prepare you for the role. Homicide Service training includes criminal justice process; trauma informed approach to support; supporting traumatically bereaved families; personal and professional resilience.
As a fully trained Homicide Family Caseworker you will be responsible for managing your own complex caseload to the highest quality standards.

About the role:
This role is based working from home, however the successful candidate will be expected to line manage and visit clients within the Hampshire & Isle of Wight region as well as surrounding areas and should therefore live within the Hampshire & Isle of Wight or Berkshire area.
As a Senior Caseworker you will be:
- Line managing a small team to deliver effective support to victims of anti-social behaviour
- Responsible for reviewing cases and auditing against set quality standards.
- Delivering tailored support to victims of anti-social behaviour. This could be in person, via telephone or electronically.

About the role:
As a Victim Care Advisor (IVA), you will provide advocacy and support to those affected by the impact of crime.
You will work with people who have experienced or witnessed crime and you will be the single point of contact for them.
You will work with other agencies to provide a service that supports the individual through the criminal justice system, or works with them whether they decide to report the crime or not.
As an IVA, you will;
- Receive incoming referrals from a range of sources including the police, other agencies and individuals themselves
- Assess needs and risks, and agree action plans
- Work on case management systems to update case notes, manage and record information
- Give up to date and consistent information about the criminal justice system process
- Liaise with other agencies where required to provide advocacy for the service user, work in a multi-agency set up, give and receive information with consent
- Support the person and their wider family
- Work with criminal justice system agencies to ensure a trauma informed and victim friendly response
- Promote the service at events and meetings where directed or required
- Ensure that you are aware of and up to date with safeguarding and data policy and processes and able to identify where there are risks
You will need:
- to be a confident, compassionate & empathic person who can work well under pressure
- to be able to speak with people in a trauma informed way
- to be composed, empathic & able to quickly assess situations
- to live within North Yorkshire, or a reasonable distance from North Yorkshire, to allow you to fulfil the needs of our service and victims in line with our Outreadh program

About the role:
This role is based at Lancaster Police Station. This role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement.
As an IDVA working on Operation Provide you will:
- Work with the Police safeguarding team to identify high risk victims of domestic abuse.
- Check internal systems to check if victims are known or open to internal services and liaise with same.
- Conduct joint visits with the police to victims who are at serious risk of harm to provide independent information about their rights and options to enable them to keep safe from harm.
- Assess their needs and develop a bespoke safety and support plan
- Provide information and advocacy around the criminal justice process
- Liaise with internal and external agencies in order to keep the victim safe from harm and address their needs.
You will need:
- IDVA accreditation and/or have considerable relevant experience in supporting victims of domestic abuse

- knowledge of risk assessment, safety planning & risk management
- an understanding of Safeguarding issues & the legal responsibilities surrounding these

About this key role
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to identify and assess young victims of violence, you will also provide support, advice and advocacy for children, young people and their families as they plan to be discharged from hospital back into the community. You will produce support and risk management plans based on your assessments and also deliver a holistic support service, working solo or with colleagues as the situation dictates, to each client. This will include providing practical guidance with social and housing support, accompanying to appointments, ETE options, benefits work, debt advice, DIY work and cleaning.
We will also count on you to develop and maintain relationships with partner agencies, including community-based services such as police, children’s services and local authorities, while closing cases efficiently and positively, identifying a referral route for children and young people that will identify agencies that can be used for ongoing support and agencies that can be used if serious problems develop in the future is also an essential aspect of the role.
What we are looking for
• Personal experience of the criminal justice system, lived experience of the issues facing this client group and/or experience of working with ‘high risk’, vulnerable children, young people and/or families
• Substantial experience of providing support, advice and advocacy and of using support plans
• Substantial experience of assessing the needs of CYP who are at risk of significant harm
• Proven record of engaging successfully with ‘challenging’ young people
• A working knowledge of relevant services for young people and their families in the service provision area (mainly North and West London but potentially further
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

Recovery Support Team Leader Location: London Salary: £30,082 per annum, plus benefits Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full Time We are recruiting for a Recovery Support Team Leader. The Recovery Support service is available to current or former Forward Trust clients who are on a substance misuse recovery pathway, making good progress within the Forward Trust towards their personal goals, and coming to the end of their current treatment pathway. While Recovery Support is not exclusively for clients who are abstinent, clients will need to be in control of their drink and/ or drug use, and not be chaotic in their using i.e. heavy drinking, antisocial behaviour, daily/binge using of either drugs or alcohol (especially main substance/s of choice). Forward Connect is a peer-led mutual aid community of like-minded people who are making good progress in their own journey – this could be people in addiction recovery, moving away from crime, overcoming mental health problems, or who are coming out of a period of unemployment or homelessness. Roles Responsibilities The Team Leader will be based within the central Recovery Support team. The Team Leader will be responsible for co-ordinating all recovery support functions across Forward Trust’s substance misuse services into a coherent and effective service that offers inspiration and a structured pathway to recovery for service users, as well as supporting to develop our peer led network called Forward Connect. The Team leader will also support with the delivery of the peer mentoring strategy in their allocated geographical areas. The aim of the role is to have a robust recovery support service integrated into all services, promoting and modelling the organisations values and ethos, supporting service users to further develop their recovery and lives, whilst bringing visible lived experience to all including staff via a range of recovery support interventions. The role is Hybrid. There is no set base but travelling is needed to Islington (London) as will require regular weekly visits to the 3 better lives buildings and occasional cover of weekend shifts in this area. You will also need to travel to units within their geographical areas which does include prisons and community projects. Some travel may be covered by the Forward Trust depending on your base, but ideally you should be based within 20 miles of Islington. About the role:
As a Senior, you will provide advocacy and support to those affected by the impact of crime.
You will work with people who have experienced or witnessed crime and you will be the single point of contact for them.
You will work with other agencies to provide a service that supports the individual through the criminal justice system, or works with them whether they decide to report the crime or not.
As an IVA, you will;
- Receive incoming referrals from a range of sources including the police, other agencies and individuals themselves
- Assess needs and risks, and agree action plans
- Work on case management systems to update case notes, manage and record information

The Area Service Manager will be an experienced manager with a proven track record in leading substance misuse, recovery, and/or housing services. As part of the Joint Leadership Team (JLT), you will oversee, develop and lead staff and services across your area.
You will manage contracts with Change Grow Live and other local partners, develop coaching models, and deliver behaviour change and psychosocial programmes. You will plan, deliver, and monitor services for individuals who are socially marginalised but are on a path of recovery and rehabilitation.
Working with the Head of Operations, you will foster a supportive culture and provide clear, values-based leadership to your teams.The role also involves leading on specific organisational wide deliverables as agreed by JLT.
About you
For this role, you will have demonstrable experience of managing adult social care services within the third or public sector. You may also have:
