We are looking for self-motivated individuals who like to be part of a team but equally can work on their own. The post holder must have a desire to make a difference in promoting liver health and hepatitis C among services and affected communities, and by increasing access to treatment and liver disease care. The Hepatitis C Trust develops projects nationally where peers use their lived experience to provide education and training, one to one support and increase awareness, and access to testing and treatment for people who may be at risk of various health conditions. This exciting new role supports the delivery of the liver cancer surveillance project across Nottinghamshire working closely with the clinical team and being a core element of the day to day running of the mobile van service on which the project operates. We are looking for a passionate and skilled peer lead who has a willingness to travel and we welcome creativity and innovation in all our work. We are a patient-led organisation – you will be working in an environment where the patient/service user/client is placed at the centre of all that you do. It is essential the post holder hold a driving licence.

As we celebrate our 16th Birthday year, We Are Survivors are currently looking for an individual that has the passion, drive and determination to help us deliver our OUT Spoken Talking Therapy Services (prison based).
We Are Survivors provide survivor-focused therapeutic and advocacy support to male (including Trans and Non-binary) victims/survivors, and their loved ones, of sexual harms. We have developed a three-tiered approach to services and underpin everything we do with a ‘trauma and recovery’ framework pioneered by Dr Judith Herman.
We are currently commissioned to deliver trauma-informed therapy services in 15 prisons across the Northwest of England and we need your help delivering these services in:
· HMP Haverigg (Part-time – 2 days per week)
Believe you are right for this role?
You will be a qualified counsellor / psychotherapist who holds at least a Diploma in Counselling / Psychotherapy or equivalent and be registered with BACP or equivalent (preferably an accredited member). You will understand issues relating to trauma, be able to work as part of a team and feel confident working in a prison setting. You will also have a full, clean driving license, reliable access to your own vehicle and live within comfortable commuting distance of the prison.
In return for your time, experience, and commitment to the organisation, you will receive an annual salary of £11,124.00; annual leave and bank holiday package; annual length of service increase; birthday leave; company sick pay; monthly clinical supervision; pension contribution; a range of training opportunities; and access to different benefit schemes.
Note: salary and annual leave is based on WTE.

The responsibilities of the Financial Accountant will include:
- Support the production of the GPA Annual Report and Accounts including provision of consolidation returns for Cabinet Office departmental accounts and Whole of Government Accounts
- Maintain and analyse accurate accounting records including preparation and monitoring of Statement of Financial Position reconciliations and accrual and other journals
- Monitor the effectiveness of key controls including those operated by outsourced service providers
- Prepare tax returns to deadlines including monthly VAT return and Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) returns
- Support the delivery of internal and external audits including provision of fully supporting and signposted evidence, monitoring of requests and responding to auditors in a timely way
- Support continuous process efficiencies and improvements across the function
- Build relationships with key staff across Finance and the business in order to maintain effectiveness and relevance during change
Key Skills & Experience
- Good experience of financial accounting, ideally within a public sector context
- Good knowledge and experience of VAT
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyse and interpret significant amounts of financial data
- Ability to seek out new information and self-develop
- Experience of using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Proficient using Microsoft Excel
