This is a fundamental role within our South East regional team, internally the role is known as Local Community Officer.
The future of CCT’s outstanding collection of historic churches depends on communities supporting their local CCT church with funds, events, inspiring interpretation, visitor services and preventive conservation. The Local Community Officer will engage and support communities and volunteers to care for 26 historic churches across Northamptonshire, West Norfolk, and parts of North Bedfordshire and Western Cambridgeshire, including areas around Northampton, Bedford, Huntingdon, and King’s Lynn.

About the role
Beat is recruiting a Helpline Advisor to support the team in responding to the significant demand from those affected by eating disorders. Beat are receiving more contacts than ever before, this is an opportunity to make a difference to the lives of each and every person that gets in touch, this includes sufferers, family, friends, supporters and more. Working as part of the Helpline team, the Helpline Advisor’s role is to ensure that incoming contacts from our beneficiaries receive high quality, timely support when they need it.

Head of Programmes is a key role with significant scope to grow as the charity evolves. You’ll lead on the day-to-day delivery of our programmes, including our largest single programme, Maths Circles: a small-group-based maths enrichment programme engaging talented young mathematicians nationwide. The Senior Grant Officer will play a key role in assessing and administering grant applications, and in coordinating meetings with local voluntary Advisory Panels who help prioritise funding decisions.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional to join a large charitable organisation on a permanent basis, supporting the People Team in delivering high-quality HR advisory services across the organisation. This role will involve working closely with managers and staff to ensure consistent, compliant, and effective people management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and consistent advice to managers on all aspects of employment, including recruitment, employee relations, and policy compliance
- Support managers in the recruitment and selection process, including drafting adverts, shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding
- Advise on employee relations matters such as disciplinary, grievance, performance, sickness absence, and whistleblowing
- Liaise with Payroll and Occupational Health teams to ensure smooth processing of employment-related matters
- Maintain accurate HR records and oversee the integrity of the HR system
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and projects
- Ensure compliance with employment law and internal policies across all HR activities
- Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion throughout the employee lifecycle
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar HR advisory role within a medium to large organisation
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
- Experience supporting managers with recruitment and employee relations cases
- Level 3 Diploma in Human Resource Practice or equivalent experience (CIPD qualification desirable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload

This home-based role is to support Blesma members in the South West of England by providing a lifeline to members by delivering effective wellbeing support and advice to help reduce the negative impacts of disability and to assist them in leading independent and fulfilling lives. The role also involves representing Blesma and enhancing the charity’s profile within the local community of your area of responsibility.
The Independence and Wellbeing team works collaboratively across the Association to ensure Blesma’s programmes and services can help our service personnel, veterans and their families.
