- Location: Ideally based in the Highlands but the post holder can be based anywhere.

In this role you will support the North Highlands Consortium of 4 citizens advice bureaux, all independent charities which provide free, impartial and confidential advice and information that give people the tools they need to sort out any issues or problems.
Your role will be to design, instigate and deliver a programme of corporate and other fundraising and sponsorship to raise funds for the North Highlands Consortium bureaux. Success in this role will mean our services can be maintained and expanded, now and into the future, enabling people in our communities to prosper and thrive.
You may live in the Highlands, or you may be anywhere in the UK. You will need to understand our communities and engage potential funders in the worthwhile work we do to enhance lives.

As a Community Fundraiser you will:
- Promote the charity’s pastoral and spiritual work within local communities.
- Develop strong relationships with parishes, schools, and diocesan networks to increase engagement with the charity’s mission.
- Inspire people to make donations and raise funds to support the charity projects, including the sale of charity items and organising fundraising events.
- Recruit and support volunteers, as well as manage fundraising groups and initiatives across the region.
- Manage relationships with high value and legacy donors, ensuring their continued support and engagement.
To be successful, you must have experience:
- Previous experience in community fundraising or a related field is beneficial.
- A strong network of contacts within the diocesan community, schools, or special interest groups is a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills, public speaking abilities, and strong organisational capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with social media are essential.
- Ability to work independently, manage your own time, and take ownership of key projects, while also being a strong team player.
Salary: £30,000- £34,000 per annum

Your Role in Our Vision
As a Community Fundraiser, you'll play a vital role in our mission by empowering supporters in your local area to raise essential funds for Marie Curie. Reporting to the Deputy Head of Region, you'll collaborate with talented fundraising professionals to inspire individuals and groups to achieve their goals, ensuring their efforts make a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities
