FSRH is the leader in the field of sexual and reproductive healthcare, and we are the voice for healthcare professionals working at the frontline of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (SRH) in a range of settings in the community and primary care. Our members include SRH specialists, GPs, nurses, midwives and pharmacists. As a multi-disciplinary professional membership organisation, we set clinical guidance and standards, provide training and lifelong education, and champion safe and effective sexual and reproductive healthcare across the lifecourse for all.
FSRH’s External Affairs Team influences policy and practice through evidence-based advocacy as well as raising awareness of SRH rights among the public. We aim to develop policy, build partnerships to enhance influencing ability, and provide external communications inclusive of media relations in order to promote the goals set out in FSRH’s Hatfield Vision and Organisational Strategy, through the promotion of the highest standards in the field of SRH.
The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Sexual and Reproductive Health in the UK (APPG SRH) promotes awareness and understanding in Parliament of a range of issues relating to sexual and reproductive health across the life course (from menstruation to menopause and beyond). Backed by a passionate cohort of Parliamentarians and other stakeholders, the APPG is Co-Chaired by Dr Rupa Huq MP and Baroness Barker, supported by passionate Vice Chairs, Baroness Sugg and Maya Ellis MP.
About the role
This role plays an integral part in helping manage and develop the outputs of the External Affairs team, while advising on FSRH strategic issues. As the Senior Manager and Deputy to the Director in the team, you will manage the team’s External Affairs Officer, and drive delivery of the ambitions contained in FSRH’s Hatfield Vision. As Manager to the All Party Parliamentary Group on Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare you will work directly with leading Parliamentarians and partners to manage and deliver the APPG’s annual programme of work and meetings.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with an interest in healthcare policy and a passion for improving society. A background in policy, public affairs, campaigning, as well as proven project management and events experience is highly desirable. Excellent writing skills are essential, as is a broad understanding of communications techniques to engage policy makers around the issues that clinicians and the public alike face.
FSRH offers a flexible working pattern, including hybrid working, with the option of working in the offices of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in London Bridge, where FSRH is situated. Responsibilities

The role
As our Challenge Events / Supporter Journey / Fundraiser Experience Manager (call it what you like), you’ll lead the supporter journey for our 3,000 challenge event fundraisers - making sure every interaction is personal, motivating and meaningful.
You’ll plan and deliver comms across all channels, from automated emails to personal messages and calls. You’ll ensure people feel seen, valued, and inspired - and help them understand the difference they’re making.
Your goals will be to increase fundraising per head in the short term, and supporter lifetime value in the longer term. You’ll also help us explore opportunities for repeat fundraising, corporate giving, major donors, and regular giving - working closely with the wider fundraising and events team.
You’ll be the go-to expert on supporter journeys: leading, challenging, testing, and building evidence for what works. From refining the Fundraiser Hub to creating new stewardship ideas or in-person experiences, you’ll shape a journey that turns one-time swimmers into lifelong supporters.
You’ll also collaborate with our Events Marketing team - because our fundraisers aren’t just donors, they’re also our best ambassadors. The better their experience, the stronger our word-of-mouth marketing and the faster our events grow.
You’ll have a lot of freedom to test ideas - as long as you can show the financial model makes sense.

- Deliver additional personal touches to deepen relationships, for example in-person events, training groups, information, offers, case studies, phone calls, hand-written cards, personalised thank-you communications, impact updates, recognition opportunities
- Lead our CRM use, keeping it up to date with supporter information

Deepen
- Cross-sell other fundraising products to our swimmer audience. We magic up 3,000 new relationships every year
- Maximise the opportunities each year to identify Corporates, Major Donors, Regular Givers, T&Fs and repeat fundraisers from this audience
- Develop new products - like Regular Giving or Memberships - with this audience in mind first.
Improve
- Take a data-driven approach to improving our Supporter Journey and Communications across our products
- Track data and deliver regular reporting to the Head of Fundraising and CEO to ensure that we remain on track for fundraising targets (e.g. JustGiving pages and amount raised so far)
- Continuously develop by learning and following industry best practice and current trends to identify opportunities to improve our Supporter Journey.
Supporting Individual Fundraisers
- Input to CRM - Design and deliver Supporter Journey
- Create tips, templates, and tools (like email drafts, social media post ideas) for effective fundraising.
- Respond to Fundraisers through our Fundraising email inbox and social media pages and messaging platforms.
- Work closely with our mailing house to post fundraiser thank you's where necessary.
Fundraising know-how
- Stay informed and educate others on the latest fundraising trends and tools by engaging with industry updates, attending webinars, and exploring best practices.
- Regularly share insights and recommendations with the internal team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement in fundraising innovations.
- Ensure that you are up to date with Fundraising Regulator best practice and legal process and attend regular training sessions on industry changes or updates.
Desirable skills and experience

About SOFT UK
SOFT UK is a national charity supporting families affected by Trisomy 13 (Patau syndrome) and Trisomy 18 (Edwards syndrome). We provide emotional support, information, advocacy, and community connections to ensure no family faces this journey alone.
Purpose of the Role
The Regional Engagement Officer (REO) for Northern Ireland will build and strengthen SOFT UK’s presence in the region. This includes supporting families, developing local community networks, enhancing relationships with healthcare professionals, and coordinating volunteer and fundraising activities to reduce isolation and improve support access for families affected by Trisomy 13 and 18.
Key Responsibilities

Purpose: The Fundraising and Admin Officer is responsible for delivering key administrative and fundraising activities that support the achievement of Vision Action’s income generation targets. We're looking for a Therapy Manager to join the team. Leading a team of trauma-informed therapists while delivering trauma-informed therapeutic services. We are a dynamic service with a holistic service model, so the senior role is supporting wider than just direct delivery.

About the role:
As our Dementia Coordinator you’ll lead the development and coordination of dementia-focused befriending activities, working closely with volunteers, carers, and local partners. Your work will help create a supportive, connected community where people living with dementia feel valued and engaged.

We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience in dementia services, the voluntary sector, and/or a strong understanding of the challenges faced by people living with dementia.
- Feels confident leading group activities and offering one-to-one support.
- Is confident delivering volunteer training and providing ongoing support.
- Brings empathy and a genuine commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
- Works flexibly and thrives as part of a supportive team.
