This is a Surrey based hybrid role with 2 days a week in the office.

The Role
This role is part of the Global Fundraising Team of over 50 staff. You will be responsible for planning and managing a digital fundraising portfolio including paid and organic advertising, Shop and eCommerce products, and Community and Events fundraising.

You will manage the delivery of digital campaigns from start to finish, from budgeting and scheduling through to audience selection, agency and supplier briefing, copy and creative development, digital production, and reporting.

Working in conjunction with the Head of UK Fundraising, you will identify innovative opportunities for the development of the UK digital fundraising strategy.

Data and measurement to optimise results working with fundraising, digital, CRM teams and external suppliers to evaluate and report on digital product and campaign income, identifying KPls to optimise for regular and single growth income.

Process management to drive efficiencies you will champion best practice digital production systems, processes, and platforms to improve ways of working.

The Candidate
Track record of working on successful digital marketing, campaigns and communications ideally in a charity setting.

Experience of delivering digital marketing strategy and campaign management for lead generation, acquisition and retention that is audience-centric, rooted in insight and target driven.

Experience of working across a range of digital channels including paid and organic social media, Google Ads , web and email.

Hands-on experience of working with digital production, service providers and platforms to identify and deliver best-in-class digital solutions.

Experience of digital and data reporting and analysis, with track-record of acting on insights to achieve KPls and income targets.

Experience working with a wide range of stakeholders to support their digital marketing planning and communication delivery.

Tender is an arts charity working with children and young people to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence through creative projects. With a clear strategic focus for the next five years, we are strengthening our development team to ensure we have the funding needed to achieve our strategic ambitions. We plan to grow both the extent of our reach across the country, and the difference we make to the people we work with. We are also planning to increase the effectiveness of our policy & influencing work, aiming to deliver significant, systemic change to how violence against women and girls is prevented.

You will play a pivotal role in raising the funding for our ambitions, focusing on statutory and trusts & foundations income streams. You will lead on both these income streams, managing existing funders and securing new funders. You will secure income from your own portfolio of funders and partners, and lead and inspire the team to achieve their own ambitious targets, both through new sources and through excellent stewardship of existing funders.

Role purpose

The main purposes of this role are:

• Researching, identifying and applying for grant funding and commissioning from statutory sources, trusts and foundations (T&F)
• Developing and writing high quality fundraising bids which align with the objectives and needs of statutory funders, T&F and Tender’s strategic objectives
• Managing and maintaining partnerships and relationships with a range of stakeholders (statutory funders, T&F, delivery partners, professionals in the sector, internal stakeholders)
• Developing the Statutory and T&F strategy in collaboration with the Development Director

Main responsibilities and duties

New business development

• Developing and implementing a strategy to develop relationships with, and maximise income from, statutory sources, T&F
• Working with service managers, designing, developing and submitting high-quality funding proposals to statutory sources, T&F which are technically sound, meet donor requirements and align with Tender’s strategic objectives
• Maintaining an up-to-date market awareness of grant-making trends and best practice in T&F fundraising
• Developing the overall statutory and T & F strategy with oversight from the Development Director
• Monitoring and reporting against business development plans to ensure objectives are achieved, and proposing plans for remedial action if projections are not on track

Relationships

• Managing relationships with Statutory sources and T&F funding Tender, building a deep understanding of the needs and requirements of each funder
• Developing and executing stewardship and relationship management plans for T&F to maximise the value and duration of their support for Tender
• Overseeing the production of high-quality monitoring reports for T&F, and using insights from funded programmes to develop case for support materials
• Working with other Tender managers to ensure the consistent tone and positioning of Tender in the implementation of marketing of all projects
• Line managing two Development Officers

Administration

• Working with the Governance team to improve operational effectiveness and quality service by identifying and implementing process improvements
• Contributing to the maintenance of Tender’s overall Development function, providing appropriate analysis and reports
• Developing and maintaining a funding database and ensuring it is up to date to effectively monitor and evaluate the strategy
• Completing all mandatory training, and proactively seek opportunities for ongoing professional development
• Ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed, including safeguarding, data protection and equal opportunities
• Working as a member of the Tender team and carrying out other duties that may be required to meet the needs of the organisation

The role
The Domestic Abuse Prevention All Risk Perpetrator Worker will strive to make contact and work on a one-to-one basis with perpetrators whose victims have been identified through all levels of risk.

The purpose of this role is to move the perpetrator along the spectrum of awareness; acceptance of impact; desire to change; to voluntary engagement in behavioural change to end the cycle of abuse for children who are victims of domestic abuse.

The Domestic Abuse Prevention Worker will work with people on; awareness raising and developing motivation to change with people who recognise they are at risk of or are harming their partner (low risk), individual case management and group behavioural change programmes (standard and medium risk) and intensive case management aimed at high harm and/or significant recidivist perpetrators. To do this, the Domestic Abuse Prevention worker will work closely with existing agencies as part of a co located multi agency approach.

The Domestic Abuse Prevention worker will work closely with the victim/survivor IDVA service to review risk, develop safety plans, and improve outcomes for all parties involved. 

About you
You’ll have a deep understanding of the nature of domestic abuse and its effects on clients and children, as well as the reasons behind abusive behaviours towards intimate partners.

Your knowledge extends to the range of statutory and voluntary agencies that clients and their children may encounter, and you are aware of the impact of domestic abuse on children and parenting, including the additional needs of clients from BMER communities.

You will have experience in working with clients on issues of domestic abuse, providing one-to-one and group support and advice, managing your own workload and administration, and assessing the risk and safety of your clients and those connected to your client.  You will have handled safeguarding disclosures and referrals, and you communicate clearly with a range of people both over the telephone and in person. 

You will be organised, able to use your initiative, and work effectively as part of a multi-service team. Your administrative skills will be strong, and you will be adept at using a computer to maintain effective systems.

You will also be flexible, willing to work evenings and be able to travel independently. Additionally, you will have an understanding of trauma-informed practices, risk mitigation, and safeguarding. You will have experience liaising with social workers and other professionals, and in related areas such as substance misuse, child protection, or family support, is desirable.

Fluency in an additional language and skills in group work are also advantageous. You stay updated with best practices and new initiatives.

Much of your work will involve actively listening to carers, often via the phone support line, providing information, advice and support.

As part of the Adult Carers Support Team, you will also be involved in organising breaks for carers, outreach activities and leisure events, as well as group work to help enhance carers’ health and wellbeing. The role

As the Trainee Solicitor,  you’ll work on a stimulating range of issues across two wide areas of law -  Immigration (in Year 1) and Employment (in Year 2). You will learn how best to support vulnerable clients with limited English language and digital skills, how to spot signs of modern slavery or manage safeguarding concerns.

Working with our immigration team, you will help clients understand and secure their immigration status in the UK. You will support clients who have limited leave to remain (e.g. on employer-sponsored visas, Ukraine Visa Schemes, or pre-settled EUSS status) or who are entirely undocumented. Working with our employment team, you will work on cases involving non-payment of wages, non-provision of work, unlawful deductions, race and gender discrimination, or unfair dismissals. Crucially, you will have the opportunity to understand the real-life intersection of the two areas of law, as they are often experienced by the same clients. 

This is a brilliant opportunity to gain well-rounded experience across all stages of the legal process, including interviewing clients, collecting information and assessing evidence, taking down witness statements, providing over the phone and written advice, and collating evidence bundles. 

Alongside your legal work and SQE2 study, you will complete an independent social justice project aligned with your personal interests and objectives of the charity. This might entail legal research, sourcing strategic cases, or compiling data on the impact of the current policies. Working on this project will give you an opportunity to conduct strategic legal work contributing to systemic change.

The Role

The role of the Events team within Alpha International is to oversee the organising of Leadership Conference (LC) in-person, any events around Leadership Conference (including Donor events, Wednesday CEF event, Alpha Staff day, regional satellite events) and London-based Alpha events across the year (such as Alpha Collective and Experience Alpha).
This role is responsible for managing health and safety across the HTB sites, catering (crew, bloom café, Brompton road food vans and green rooms), internal deliveries and LC app, along with other LC related tasks.

The Key Responsibilities

Logistical arrangements:

o Development and execution of the events Day Plan. This is a minute-by-minute detailed plan that holds all the information of what will take place at the event

o Gathering technical and logistical requirements from speakers, stream leaders and internal departments; then negotiating this with the IT, Production, Vergers and Volunteers Teams or with an external venue or AV suppliers

o Determining catering requirements and caterer management

o Hiring of any additional venues as required and HTB site logistics

o Attending site visits (for external venues that might be used)

o Hiring of any additional equipment required for the event

o Liaising with the Production, IT, Verger, Worship team and all other internal departments

o Ensuring any legal and insurance tasks are thought about and in place for the event taking place

o Creating floor plans for the vergers to use

o Liaising on interpretation needs are met including BSL

o Liaising regarding speakers and associated tasks including contracts, gifts and accommodation

o Liaising and implementing programme decisions

o Developing and implementing new floor plans and layouts at events 

o Ensuring event Health and Safety has been implemented 

o Delivery plans 

o Any other event related task

Marketing and communications: 

o Working closely with the marketing team on the marketing plan and budget

o Steer and monitor social media campaigns, alongside internal creative services teams

o Ensuring all GDPR protocols are followed – keeping the login access tracker up to date

o Overseeing LC app contract and content

o Delegate collateral e.g. packing tote bags

Staffing:

o Volunteer recruitment working closely with the Alpha leadership on this

o Communication with HTB staff as to their specific roles and responsibilities & conducting staff briefings

o Building working relationships with volunteers and team when onsite

Registration and Ticketing:

o Oversight of the busy Leadership Conference inbox for guest queries

o Creating booking system for taking in person events registrations using an online event platform

o Ensuring the Alpha leadership gets regular booking reports

o Oversight of IT equipment owned by team

o Granting access to systems

Safeguarding 

o Linking in with the Safeguarding Lead if any safeguarding issues come up in the inboxes or at the event

Debrief

o Debrief to be done for different areas involved in 

Leadership Conference Week Responsibilities

o Taking a lead role on several key packages assigned to this role

o Create and maintain comprehensive event documentation

o Writing papers on the different areas for senior management to review as and when is required

o Stay within the budget allocated and make adjustments to event constraints based on financial situation. Looking for ways to save money on all areas you look after

o Developing and implementing new and improved processes 

o Holding the Alpha standard on communication in everything we do or send before, during or after the event

o Attend senior leadership meetings to provide updates as an when is required on your different areas

o Managing admin across the event, dealing with sign off,  budgets and compiling post event reporting – to take learnings for next years event

o Looking at ways to improve LC year on year by researching competitor events and market knowledge

o Any other event related tasks to support Head of Events

Helping on the day at CEF events across the year (such as Alpha Collective, Experience Alpha, Rising Generation).

The Right Candidate

Refugee Welcome Officer
Canterbury
£24,752 pa pro rata plus excellent benefits (FTE £30,940)

The Refugee Welcome Officer is an exciting and unique role, supporting groups across the county who engage with the Social Justice Network to take part in the Afghan Welcome Project. You will assist with group formation, volunteer recruitment, training and provide ongoing mentoring to ensure their success.

As Refugee Welcome Officer you will work closely with the groups, local authorities, the Home Office, the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government and other key stakeholders to source suitable housing, matching families to accommodation whilst ensuring compliance.

You will build and maintain effective relationships with local agencies, councils, community groups and other sponsors to facilitate resettlement and share best practices, as well as taking the lead for coordinating recruitment and training and support for volunteers. You will also maintain DBS checks, training records and provide ongoing supervision and guidance.

In addition, you will assist with grant applications, fundraising initiatives, marketing and awareness-raising through social media, newsletters, events and community presentations.

You will have a strong passion for supporting resettled families and enabling local communities to be welcoming and inclusive. You will have experience working with volunteers, community groups or charitable organisations, and preferably experience supporting vulnerable individuals or families, including refugees or asylum seekers.

Knowledge of housing processes, private tenancies, and local support services is important, as are excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. You should be confident influencing, negotiating and problem-solving in complex situations.

Experience of delivering training and supporting volunteer development, a full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle and a willingness to travel within Kent, London and the Southeast is essential.

Operations Officer

The Operations Officer plays a vital role in keeping STOP THE TRAFFIK’s day-to-day operations running efficiently. Working closely with the Finance & HR Manager and Executive Team, this role supports organisational systems, finance processes, and internal communications — helping our global anti-trafficking work stay coordinated, compliant, and effective.

This position suits a highly organised, proactive individual who enjoys creating structure, improving processes, and supporting others to perform at their best. You’ll be at the heart of the organisation — connecting teams, managing key administrative systems, and ensuring smooth operations across all areas.

This role will be responsible for:

Team & Office Environment

· Monitor STOP THE TRAFFIK’s phone and general ‘info’ inbox, directing messages to the appropriate team members.

· Support the upkeep of the office environment, ensuring facilities are well maintained and team members take shared ownership of the space.

· Coordinate team days and team-building activities, in collaboration with the Team Building Champion.

· Lead onboarding for new staff alongside line managers to ensure a smooth induction experience.

Executive Support Functions

· Provide administrative support to members of the Executive Team.

· Take minutes and capture action points in Senior Leadership Team meetings.

· Prepare briefing notes for key meetings with the Senior Leadership Team.

Finance

· Support the Finance & HR Manager by reconciling transactions on Xero, producing invoices, processing payments, and assisting with monthly and quarterly reporting.

Operations

· Develop and maintain effective internal systems that improve organisational efficiency and automation.

· Maintain key organisational records (e.g. contracts, insurance, supplier information) and handle confidential information appropriately.

· Manage the policy dashboard, ensuring policies are up to date, and notify relevant staff when reviews or updates are required.

The ideal candidate will have:

· Some experience in administration, operations, or office support.

· Excellent organisational skills with great attention to detail.

· Comfortable handling basic finance tasks such as invoices, payments, and record keeping, with an acumen for numbers and data.

· Competence using Excel and data visualisation tools.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
