- Lead the development and delivery of Learning and Practice Development Partnerships

Our charity has served the community of south Westminster since 1948 and has occupied The Abbey Centre building, a converted Victorian public bath house a stone’s throw from Westminster Abbey, since 1991. We are a site-based community hub and social enterprise, combining community services, training and outreach with venue hire, an on-site café and catering to generate income that supports our charitable work.
We work across employability, health and wellbeing, volunteering and practical support for vulnerable residents; the Centre welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds, and sees over 1,000 visits each week. As our next Chief Executive Officer, you will:
• Strategy & Impact: lead a collaborative listening phase and then develop and deliver a 3–5 year strategy and rolling business plan that defines the Centre’s core offer and impact targets.
• Governance & Finance: own the annual budget and medium-term financial modelling, deliver full-cost recovery across activity lines and present timely, accurate management information to trustees.
• Operational Leadership: ensure continuity of community services, venue trading and café operations and strengthen operational systems including safeguarding, H&S and business continuity.
• Income Generation: drive commercial performance of venue hire, events and catering, professionalise fundraising (major donors, legacies, corporate partnerships) and lead bids for multi-year statutory contracts.
• Community & Partnerships: sustain and deepen strategic relationships with Westminster City Council, commissioners, local partners and corporate supporters to secure commissioned work and philanthropic income.
• Estate Stewardship: manage day-to-day stewardship of the Centre’s significant ageing building, overseeing maintenance, lease/compliance obligations and contractor relationships.
• People & Culture: build a cohesive senior team, embed clear role accountabilities, performance management and development, and protect the Centre’s welcoming culture while managing change.
• Brand & Profile: act as a visible ambassador locally and with funders to raise the Centre’s profile and champion its social value.
Who you are:
• A seasoned senior leader with proven experience in a small/medium charity, community organisation or social enterprise that combines front-line delivery with significant premises/estate responsibility.
• Demonstrable track record of leading strategic development and delivering organisational growth while balancing hands-on operational leadership.
• Strong commercial and earned-income expertise, with experience of running successful commercial – ideally site-based - operations.
• Confident in winning and managing statutory contracts and multi-year grant programmes; credible with local authorities, commissioners and corporate partners.
• Financially literate with direct budget and cash-flow accountability and experience of full-cost recovery modelling.

The Role
The Volunteer Recruitment Officer role is critical to the charity's long-term sustainability and is pivotal in ensuring our branches have the volunteers and guidance they need to support our clients going forward.
This is both an internal and external-facing role, focused on recruiting volunteers and developing initiatives that will streamline how we recruit and welcome new volunteers into our network of branches.
We are seeking an experienced volunteering officer, who has a strong background in both volunteer recruitment and project delivery. Experience in being part of a team going through a change programme involving volunteers is advantageous. You will thrive in a busy environment, have excellent people skills and have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
As a small charity, the role will require balancing practical tasks with project delivery and innovation. Building on the strategy that has already been prepared for you, you will work closely with our Volunteer Administration Officer and our Operations Manager to help REMAP support our branches across the UK.

To be considered for this role, you will have demonstrable experience in a similar position and be comfortable working with a diverse range of volunteers/people. As a self-starter, you can work at pace and quickly assess and deliver to changing priorities in a busy remote team. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to coordinate multiple tasks/activities and have the flexibility to respond to changing demands.

Key duties and responsibilities
Content Creation & Design
- Write, design, and produce compelling marketing, fundraising and supporter materials that reflect our mission and engage our audiences (eg, brochures, flyers, presentations, promotional materials and prayer letters).
- Create eye-catching and effective print and digital designs in-house, ensuring brand consistency across all materials.
Social media management
- Manage and populate our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn etc) with engaging, mission-aligned content.
- Plan and schedule content calendars, track performance and adjust strategies based on engagement metrics.
- Create visuals and copy that resonate with church leaders, Christian individuals, donors and broader audiences.
Fundraising support

The Migraine Trust is the only UK migraine charity providing information and support, campaigning for awareness and change, and funding and promoting research.
One in seven people in the UK live with migraine, and this complex and debilitating neurological disorder significantly affects their lives. We have been leading and bringing the migraine community together to change this since 1965.
Every year we support millions of people through our website and support services on all aspects of migraine and for help in managing it at work, in education, and in accessing healthcare. We campaign for increased awareness and understanding of migraine, and national policy change to improve the lives of people who get it. We have funded over 140 medical research projects and hold an international symposium every two years to bring together the world’s leading experts on migraine.
The role
People living with migraine are at the heart of our organisation, while our research highlights the urgent need to reduce the inequity we see for those living with the condition. You will ensure their voices are heard by decision makers and the public and get closer to our vison of ‘a world where migraine doesn’t stop anyone from living the life they want’.
You should be able to deliver high-impact communication campaigns, and have a real interest in policy. A skilled communicator yourself, you will be able to manage a broad role with the ability to build and nurture relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Overall, you’ll bring a desire to create positive change.
You’ll work closely with the CEO and be a key member of The Migraine Trust’s Senior Management team, leading our strategic direction on communications activity alongside targeted public and political campaigns.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of the organisation’s 2026 policy and communications plans and coordinate the development of plans and budgets for 2027
- Oversee development and delivery of the charity’s policy and public affairs strategy, ensuring a strong evidence base and meaningful involvement of people living with migraine
- Manage work our public affairs agency to deliver targeted influencing projects to improve migraine care, workplace support, and parliamentary engagement
- Shape policy recommendations and develop strategies to engage key stakeholders including parliamentarians, policymakers, clinicians, employers and partner organisations
- Monitor the external policy environment identifying risks, opportunities and emerging issues relevant to migraine
- Work with the team to develop and execute creative and impactful communications campaigns to raise the profile of the charity and tackle misunderstanding around migraine

Purpose
The National Leader Wales role is a pioneering leadership role. We expect the role to make contacts across the Christian community in Wales, linking local congregations, denominations and movements with the mission of CAP. Our aim is to significantly increase the number of churches that we partner with so that more Welsh people are helped with their journey out of poverty and are introduced to the person of Jesus. The Church is the focus of CAP's vision and, as such, we place great importance on how we interact with, equip and support them. This role will help ensure that we fulfil our vision to see Transformed Lives, Thriving Churches and an end to UK poverty. An understanding of the church context of Wales, and a dynamic ability to build relationships that lead to partnerships that help outwork our vision is vital. In time, we also expect the role to develop relationships with Government, statutory bodies and the third sector, and to develop partnership opportunities there as they arise. We are looking for a proactive, resilient, innovative leader to grasp this challenge.
The National Leader Wales role also exists to serve our partner churches through excellent support of our existing church partners. They will work with the Head of Devolved Nations to create a Welsh National Plan (in the context of CAP's overall aims and objectives) and lead on the national strategy to deliver that plan. They will ensure a strong sense of national identity and unity, with strong relationships between CAP's Devolved Nations Hub Team and local centres throughout Wales.
Collaborative working across the organisation will be key to ensuring a consistent approach to how we serve The Church and our clients through excellent products and services. Working across CAP will also be essential to ensure that other directorates are engaging with partner churches in a way that inspires and equips them.

Responsibilities
- The National Leader is responsible for creating a national development plan and collaborating with the Head of Devolved Nations to ensure plans are aligned with CAP's mission, built into wider CAP strategy and facilitating the delivery of impactful community services.
- The National Leader will engage with local congregations, denominations and Christian movements in Wales to link them with the mission of CAP.
- The National Leader will seek opportunities and partners to achieve a net growth of our church partnerships of debt centres and coaching services by 3 each year so that the Welsh network reaches a sustainable size.
- The National Leader will develop relationships and seek partnership opportunities with Government, Statutory bodies and the third sector.
- The National Leader is responsible for the management and development of existing church partnerships within Wales, supporting the existing network of 10 CAP centres/services.
- Lead the CAP team across Wales, inspiring and equipping CAP Local Workers and church leaders to bring CAP's vision to life within their communities, and linking them with our support hub teams, to deliver against CAP's goal 'To inspire and equip the UK Church to help people out of poverty and become followers of Jesus'.
Partnership & Representation
- Work with the Head of Devolved Nations to be the key CAP representative within Wales, engaging with churches, denominational leaders and movements, fostering valuable partnerships.
- Working with our Mission and Movement teams to engage with the wider Welsh network of churches, denominations and movements.
- Attend and speak at some of the centre launch talks and other appropriate opportunities to promote CAP within the nation.
- Work closely with the Partnership Development team to agree a national strategy for opening new centres/services, and to actively seek opportunities for the openings of new services, and to identify organic growth from existing partner churches.
- To seek a net growth of 3 services and centres annually.
- To engage with and to represent CAP on national bodies or to government departments in Wales (e.g. the Senedd).
- To be proactive in building strategic partnerships with Government, statutory and third sector bodies.
- Lead/ support relationships with organisations located within Wales (e.g. utility providers, council officials etc).
- In partnership with Mission and Movement and in line with our referrals strategy; build relationships and promote the work of CAP with referral agencies at a national level to increase the number of people seeking CAP's help

Leadership of services and Local CAP Workers
- Actively participate in cultivating and inspiring a thriving CAP culture across the Welsh network, empowering CAP Local teams through clear and compelling communication.
- Champion CAP's mission of evangelism and discipleship, ensuring its centrality in all CAP activities. Work with the Head of Mission, Evangelism & Discipleship and Head of Devolved Nations to develop the overall MED strategy for Wales.
- To provide excellent management of existing services within Wales; identifying areas to improve, creating and driving forward a strategy for excellence, supporting their centres with compassion, care and excellence.
- Maintain strong Church Partner relationships, ensuring contributions support our work and expand our reach.
- To own the delivery of strategies for the funding, recruitment, training, and ongoing development of future Welsh based CAP staff, fostering excellence and empowerment.
- To ensure consistent application of best practices and quality standards across local CAP workers in national services.
- To celebrate achievements and highlight success both within the nation and sharing with the wider CAP family.
- Leading our Welsh network to engage with all opportunities to connect into the central CAP organisation (e.g. events, attending conferences, supporting projects, PR and referral opportunities).
- To lead or assist on key CAP events in Wales, including, but not limited to, United conferences, national selection days and national team days, frontline revive days and hub/cluster events.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure regulatory compliance for Debt Centres is adhered to and the quality of service delivered is maintained at a compliant level, in conjunction with the central compliance team.
- Ensure local CAP workers complete all annual regulatory compliance, including safeguarding declarations, audits, and any other legal or statutory requirements.
- Work alongside the Training teams to support the training of all new CAP service workers, including delivering training sessions for Equip training, webinars, and other required training annually.
Fundraising
- Collaborate with Mission and Movement and Head of Devolved nations to support national relationships with major donors to CAP.
- Play a central role in wider national funding opportunities linked to Service Performance and Delivery.
- Support the Mission and Movement department in delivering impactful supporter engagement initiatives, such as donor dinners, while fostering a culture of proactive fundraising engagement to support both church and costs central to CAP.
- Support with the seeking out of new localised funding opportunities to support the churches within the nation.

Could you be our new External Affairs Manager, working closely with our housing association members across the East of England?
This is a unique and varied role which would appeal to someone with a background in areas such as stakeholder management, policy, public affairs, communications, programme management – or a combination of these areas! For example, you may be looking to step into a role to further develop your leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, whilst still building on your policy or programme management experience and knowledge.
You will operate at the heart of social housing by working with key decision makers across the housing association sector – including managing relationships with chief executives, chairs of boards and executive directors. Strong communication and influencing skills are essential to the role, as well as the confidence to work at the most senior levels.
It is crucial that you can work collegiately to lead key programmes of work across the NHF with colleagues in other teams, for example from our policy, press, events, and public affairs teams. Equally, you will be comfortable working autonomously and shaping your own work programme.

· You will influence debates at the highest level and you will spot in advance and act strategically to mitigate the risk to our membership. As such, this role requires a high degree of political and organisational acumen and the ability to horizon scan.
· You will work with colleagues in our Commercial and Events teams to maximise commercial opportunities and help shape content at our conferences, as well chairing conference sessions.
· To be the face and voice of the NHF with members, stakeholders and the media.

Role and Responsibilities
1. Partnerships strategy elaboration
· Design and update a comprehensive partnership strategy with external stakeholders in the UK market. In order to support IFAW’s mission and strategies, this Partnership Strategy shall cover the following types of partnership:
o Polical and institutional (public sector, national and decentralized authorities);
o Financial (private sector and institutional donors);
o Technical, programmatic and academic (non-governmental community, universities, research institutes).
· Work closely with cross-functional teams to align Partnership Strategy in the UK and beyond
2. Strategy implementation and partnerships development
· Build, foster and maintain strong relationships with target stakeholders (external audiences, leaders, institutional partners, community organizations, funders, etc.) to
o Enhance effectiveness and reach
o Advance and drive collaborative solutions
· Influence UK key political decision-making processes
· Represent IFAW on priority issues in external meetings, conferences, public events, and media interviews and act as spokesperson.
· Play a key role in advancing IFAW commitment to impact investing. This involves:
o Identifying investment opportunities that generate financial returns and create social/environmental benefits.
o Working with the IFAW Leadership Team and others to develop and implement innovative investment strategies that align with strategy ensuring that our resources are used to drive transformative change.
3. IFAW UK Representation
· Serve as IFAW’s UK Representative corporations, institutional donors, private foundations, and other relevant stakeholders
· Serve as authorized signatory, when appropriate
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Minimum of five years of experience in the development of strategic partnerships and institutional funding, NGO management, high-level advocacy or a related field in the UK and beyond.
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Agility and strategic vision
· Demonstrated expertise in the nonprofit landscape.
· General understanding of environmental and climate issues. Knowledge of conservation and animal welfare is an asset but not essential.
· Ability to analyze data and use it to inform decision-making.
· Experience with local, regional, and national institutional funding sources.
· Working knowledge of legal and compliance obligations that apply to international NGO operating in the UK.

We are a charity doing big things to help to support people, landscape and wildlife in the Yorkshire Dales and surrounding areas.
We deliver diverse and inspirational projects, helping to plant 1.6 million trees and securing the future of more than 850 hectares of wildflower hay meadows, creating habitats for our wildlife and combatting climate change. About the role
The focus of this role is to develop and grow income from corporate partnerships, helping us build on our award-winning approach to this area of fundraising.
This will involve working closely with our Development Manager to ensure excellent stewardship of existing partners, helping us to develop long term strategic partnerships tailored to a company’s CSR or ESG objectives. You will also help with the planning and delivery of an exciting volunteering programme geared around hands-on habitat creation and management work in the Yorkshire Dales, Nidderdale and Forest of Bowland.
To support our growth plans, you'll play an important role in our business development activity, helping to increase corporate income. This will involve prospect research, helping with the planning and delivery of corporate engagement events and cultivating opportunities for additional funding from existing partners.

About you
We’re looking for a self-motivated, organised and creative fundraiser or sales person with proven experience in relationship management.
You will have excellent people skills and an ability to develop strong relationships with corporate partners as well as colleagues and supporters. You will also have good written skills, with experience of creating compelling and engaging communications that inspire and engage your target audience.
Delivering exceptional volunteering events is key to the success of our corporate partnerships, so experience in the planning and execution of engaging in person events will be of real value.
A key part of the role will be to support our business development activity, which will require strong research skills and an ability to identify prospects that share our passion for delivering positive social and environmental impact. Experience using a CRM system to cultivate new business will be a key asset in this role.
