The Role:

To establish new, multi-year, high value partnerships with companies which deliver in line with Oxfam’s mission. The position will be primarily responsible for generating new business leads, developing and delivering compelling pitches and proposals, and progressing a portfolio of prospective new corporate partners to secure income, impact and influence. The role will work across a breadth of corporate partnership engagements, networking and collaborating with contacts in community investment, sustainability, brand partnerships and HR teams and in corporate foundations.

We're looking for an inspirational people person to join us as a Assistant Shop Manager in our Primrose Hill Boutique by Shelter shop. This is an exciting opportunity, and we'd like you to join us to help raise vital funds for homeless and badly housed people.

You will work closely with the Shop Manager to ensure the shop looks welcoming, visually appealing and the team of volunteers are motivated and keen to engage with customers and maximise sales.

About the role

You will assist the Shop Manager in the recruitment, support and development of a strong community focused shop team and empower them to maximise Shelter's income. Representing Shelter in your local community, ensuring that you and your team share your knowledge of Shelter's cause with customers, volunteers, donors and potential Shelter clients will also be important aspects of the role. You will always ensure a safe, clean, bright and happy environment for your team to work in and for your customers to shop in, in turn attracting potential donors and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Governance

• Work with the Board of Trustees to set and deliver the charity’s vision, mission, and strategic priorities.
• Provide clear, evidence-based advice and recommendations to the Board, ensuring effective governance and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Position the charity as a recognised leader in tackling inequality and poverty in the borough, particularly the North Kensington area.

Income Generation & Fundraising

• Lead a sustainable income generation strategy, including accessing trust and foundation fundraising, corporate sponsorships, statutory grants, and social enterprise opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with funders and donors to maximise opportunities for growth and diversification of income.
• Ensure effective financial management, monitoring, and reporting of a c.£750k annual budget.

Partnerships & Place-Leadership

• Develop and maintain partnerships with voluntary, public, and private sector organisations to aid joint delivery of services.
• Represent the Dalgarno Trust in local strategic forums, influencing public policy and service design to reflect community needs.

We are looking for a creative, driven, compassionate, Communications Lead to develop, lead, and implement an integrated communications strategy that supports our ambition to double the number of adults learning to read with Read Easy UK by the end of our current strategy.

As a strong communications generalist, with strategic and operational expertise, the Communications Lead will work closely with employees, volunteers and other key stakeholders to strengthen the charity’s national brand and position. This role covers all aspects of communications including media relations, digital communications, brand communications, stakeholder and internal communications.

The post holder will shape and deliver communications activity that inspires, informs, and engages our key audiences, including volunteers, potential Readers, funders, the media, and partners across the UK.

The successful candidate will be strategic and agile and will enjoy shaping strategy alongside delivering communications activity. This is a standalone role, leading and delivering internal and external communications for the organisation in collaboration with other key partners.

Who We Are

Our charity was established in 1992, to provide care and support to people in Sussex, living with and affected by HIV. Over the past three decades there have been huge advances in treatment and care for those affected by the virus. People taking effective anti-retroviral medication (ART’s) can live long lives, with HIV becoming undetectable and untransmittable.

Whilst people who are living with HIV can live longer, many develop other physical co-morbidities as they age and many experience social and self- stigma. Our service users are often from marginalised groups, who often experience inter-sectional discrimination and health inequalities. Many of our service users experience socio-economic disadvantage and have multiple and complex needs.

The Sussex Beacon offers a range of services to people who have been living with HIV for decades through to those who are newly diagnosed.  Our services include:

· Peer Mentoring

· Living Well Exercise Programme

· Day Services and Group Work

In addition to our HIV services, The Sussex Beacon has announced that it is to become a fully inclusive Hospice, providing dedicated Hospice care to the LGBTQ+ community.

The Sussex Beacon has two charity shops in Brighton and an active fundraising team, who help raise the money we need to keep our services running for the people who need them across Sussex.

The Role

This is an exciting time for The Sussex Beacon, as we are about to launch our new 2030 Strategic Plan and move to a new era of delivery, through the evolution of our end of life and palliative care for the LGBTQ+ community.  The Sussex Beacon will be the first Hospice of its kind in the country tackling stigma and health inequalities for those who are most marginalised in our community.

This role will secure, manage and grow income from corporate partners, supporting The Sussex Beacon’s mission to provide specialist care and support for people living with HIV and its new LGBTQ+ Hospice provision. This role is responsible for building long-term, strategic relationships with businesses, creating tailored partnership opportunities, and contributing to the charity’s wider income generation strategy and its five-year fundraising plan. The postholder will work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to maximise corporate engagement and fundraising potential.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Partnership Fundraising at The Sussex Beacon

The Sussex Beacon has a proud history of working with corporate supporters who are passionate about making a difference. The Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser will lead on identifying new corporate prospects, developing compelling proposals, and managing a portfolio of existing partners. They will create and deliver partnership plans that may include sponsorship, employee fundraising, cause-related marketing, and volunteering. By aligning business objectives with The Sussex Beacon’s values and impact, the postholder will ensure meaningful and sustainable relationships that benefit both parties.

Team Beacon

Team Beacon is the charity’s fundraising event brand, bringing together supporters through challenge events, campaigns, and volunteering. The Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser will work closely with the fundraising team to integrate corporate teams into Team Beacon activities, encourage staff engagement, and develop sponsorship packages for major events such as The Brighton Half Marathon, which we own, and community challenges. This collaborative approach enhances visibility and fosters a sense of shared purpose among partners and supporters alike.

Business Networking Events

The postholder will represent The Sussex Beacon at a variety of business networking events, including LGBTQ+ network events, across Sussex and beyond. These events offer valuable opportunities to connect with potential partners, showcase the charity’s impact, and build strategic relationships. The Fundraiser will be proactive in identifying and attending relevant events, from Chamber of Commerce meetings to local business expos, ensuring The Sussex Beacon maintains a visible and professional presence in the corporate community.

Other Duties

· Maintain accurate records of partner interactions and income through the charity’s CRM system.

· Prepare regular reports and updates for the Head of Income and senior leadership.

· Work with the communications team to highlight successful partnerships and case studies.

· Support the wider fundraising team during peak periods or major campaigns.

· Stay up to date with trends and developments in corporate fundraising and CSR.

· Responsibility alongside fundraising for corporate events such as The Sussex Beacon relay and 5k inflatable course.

The Programme Admissions Officer will be responsible for processing client applications, including conducting initial calls, checking eligibility and signposting where applicable. This role is the gateway to accessing our services and plays a critical role in providing a positive and seamless client experience. As we enter a new and exciting stage of strategic development, this role has the potential to grow and develop in line with our evolving service model.

About this role

This is an exciting opportunity to join SPANA’s Income Generation department at a time of growth for the organisation.As Individual Giving Manager, you’ll play a key role in developing and delivering SPANA’s committed giving programme and multi-channel retention campaigns, including stewardship and value exchange activities.Working closely with the Head of Individual Giving, you’ll help shape strategic plans across UK and international markets, driving income growth to expand SPANA’s global impact. You’ll also line manage the Individual Giving Executive and deputise for the Head of Individual Giving when required.

Contract, location and salary

This is a full-time (34.5 hours per week), permanent role. This role is UK based, hybrid working with regular attendance (approximately 1-2 days per month, or more if preferred) in our London office. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK currently and for the duration of the contract. 

The salary for this position is c.£42,000 per annum, subject to skills and experience. SPANA is pleased to offer a range of benefits including a generous company pension scheme with 10% employer contribution if the employee contributes a minimum 5%, and health care cash plan.

Our client provides supported accommodation for adults who have mental health needs and support for alcohol/substance use needs. Their clients have a mix of medium to high support needs and provide 24/7 support across two houses next door to each other, as well as floating support across 4 properties and sublets in Portsmouth. Thier sublet service support provides housing management support to clients living in self-contained units across the city to manage a tenancy independently. 

They are looking for a Mental Health Recovery Worker to join a small team that works collaboratively with clients to help them achieve positive outcomes. If you love working with people and are looking for a role where you can make a real difference in the lives of those your support, then this is the role for you!  

The role 

As their Mental Health Recovery Worker, you will lead on the case management of clients and be part of a team that supports them in keeping them safe and helping them achieve their goals.  You’ll provide people with homes and specialist support so they feel more valued and secure, and ready to take the next steps. 

You will produce and regularly review comprehensive client-based risk assessments along with engaging with local authorities, health providers and other agencies, creating and maintaining constructive working relationships to maximise the opportunities available to clients. 

You’ll lead on client activities to help them gain practical life skills and encourage their engagement with the running of the service.

Helping their client’s to manage their finances, pay rent, manage arrears and access benefits will also form part of your role and you will provide encouragement as well as signpost clients to the local community and to resources relevant to their aspirations including education, training, employment activity or volunteering.

Bexley Voluntary Service Council (BVSC) is looking for an organised and enthusiastic Volunteer Coordinator to lead our growing Digital Champions project. We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our friendly office team to support the charity in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth running of financial and administrative processes in the charity.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties including bank reconciliations, invoicing, expense processing; ensuring the accounts software is accurate and current.
