An exciting opportunity for an experienced Community Advocate to work with a new partnership of local VCS organisations working together to provide an accessible advocacy service, across the borough of Enfield. The role will suit someone with experience of promoting vulnerable individual voices, and representing their rights through the provision of high quality information, advice, and advocacy support.

Duties will include:

• ·Providing goal focused community advocacy to eligible clients
•  Processing new referrals and queries, ensuring that appropriate referrals and logged and inappropriate signposted to relevant services
• Supporting the triage of referrals across the LEAP partnership, signposting to other providers where appropriate

The successful candidate will have:

• experience of working with people experiencing Mental Health issues
• experience of working in an advocacy role
• excellent verbal and written communication skills
• excellent multi-tasking and time management skills
• the ability to produce well -written reports and meet deadlines
• good knowledge of relevant legislation such as Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act 2007, Mental Capacity Act 2005
• knowledge of Benefits, social care, housing, and other relevant areas

The successful candidate should have a minimum 1-2 years of experience working with people with mild, moderate and severe mental health issues.

• Work closely with British Gas & other third-party contractors to understand their operational process for vulnerable customers, applications and referrals as well as any dependencies.

• Support BGET’s understanding of money and advice sector across England, Scotland and Wales, including sharing policy knowledge and sector developments within the 3 nations.
• Contribute to new initiatives with British Gas and grant giving programmes.

· Support the effective management of the Trust’s grant programmes across England, Scotland and Wales, including:

• Build & manage positive relationships with the grant assessment team and British Gas internal teams. 

• Providing appropriate support to ensure the direct grant programme runs efficiently and effectively, with grant funding distributed to budget and schedule.

• Undertaking both face to face and virtual monitoring visits of the helpline and application portal and assessment teams – including ongoing KPI and impact evaluation process, creating comprehensive follow-up reports including end of grant reports.

Reporting & Contract Management:

• Ensure all data collection aligned to current Data Protection regulations and use and storage of data is in line with the Trust’s own policies and provide reassurance to the Head of Services.

• Ensure accurate data is in place for year-end reporting, quarterly and including assisting Head of Services with quarterly and End of Year Board reporting.

 Reporting & Contract Management: 

• Identify risks to delivery and work with the grant administrator to help resolve any challenges with delivery that impact on the grant obligations.

• To work with internal and external monitoring and evaluation specialists, to gain impact and understanding of the effect of our funding schemes.

Knowledge Sharing

• Identify and develop opportunities to work collaboratively and share learning.

• Ensure case studies and other content is collated from grant recipients to share through our channels.

Please note the employee will be required to undertake any reasonable work or task requested by the Trust, this will include occasional travel, potentially overnight, in England, Scotland and Wales. 

Desirable Experience:

Progress To Change runs two Approved Premises (formerly known as Probation and Bail Hostels) in Leeds. Ripon House provides a service for women offenders and Cardigan House works with male offenders. Both Approved Premises (AP) operate alongside the National Probation Service (NPS) Approved Premises. Nationally there are fourteen APs that are independently managed. All APs operate to a national agreement / rules.

Purpose of Job Role

1. To provide double cover for the Approved Premise in accordance with the rota.

2. Ensure smooth operation of the premises, with an emphasis on risk management and health and safety

3. To engage with residents and enable and motivate them to attend appointments and activities in order for them to work towards successful resettlement.

4. To support the Case Managers in delivering structured activities.

The Forward Trust services which are delivered within Welsh prison settings are commissioned by Ministry of Justice and are delivered in partnership with HMPPS prison and probation colleagues and G4s prison colleagues and HMPPS Probation resettlement colleagues at HMP Parc. Integration and partnership are integral to the work we do.

Role Responsibilities

Working in HMP Cardiff, HMP Swansea with occasional need to attend HMP Parc, the postholder will mainly be co-located with Probation resettlement colleagues and working directly with service users on the wings within the prison and also providing face to face housing interventions premises when required.

In this role you will be delivering Housing focused interventions to improve housing opportunities and play a key role in homelessness prevention for men on probation.  In order to achieve sustainable housing outcomes you will ensure that a holistic assessment of need is completed with onward referrals to specialist services made for any identified need

Role Summary

An exciting opportunity to join Into Film and lead on the production of all audio-visual content for the UK’s foremost film education charity. Overseeing an in-house production team of six, the Production Lead will work closely with colleagues from across the organisation to identify, develop and deliver an exciting and wide range of content for classroom resources, social media channels and the Into Film website.

The role is initially available for a fixed term through to 31st March 2026, but may become permanent pending continuation of funding.

Main Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Joint Heads of Programme and Head of Marcomms to identify audio visual requirements in support of the Into Film strategy, including income generation. 
• Lead on planning and allocation of work for a team of six, supporting on and leading projects as required.
• Oversee departmental production budget, and budget from commissioning departments, ensuring that expenditure is planned, tracked and evaluated. 
• Plan for and manage freelancers in support of production activity as required.
• Manage Production Team, identifying where support, training and development are required to ensure a flexible approach to producing a diverse range of audio-visual content. 
• Ensure that statutory regulations in the provision of film and media content are complied with (safeguarding and child protection, GDPR etc.). 
• Ensure that all audio-visual content is legally compliant and rights are cleared for use on specified channels. 
• Oversee production on key projects including the Into Film Festival and the Into Film Awards. 
• Ensure that Into Film audio-visual content reflects the diversity of its audiences, including teachers, young people and children from under-represented backgrounds and communities.

• Experience of managing individual project and departmental budgets. 
• Good working knowledge of rights and compliance issues in relation to audio visual production. 
• Confident, creative judgement, including experience of feeding back on briefs, scripts and edits, and taking responsibility for project sign-off and delivery. 

Desirable:

• Experience of producing audio-visual content for an education and/or youth audience.

The Role
Manage the full life cycle of philanthropy, by raising funds from high-net-worth individuals, families and corporate supporters alongside assessing and making grant award

Prospect and engage in the identification and cultivation of prospective donors and next generation philanthropists.

Develop and maintain relationships with a range of philanthropists and/or their professional
advisors

Understand and explain to donors how invested funds provide grant making.

The Candidate
Experience of fundraising either as a generalist, or in Philanthropy/Major Gifts/HNWI or corporate fundraising is advantageous.

Experience working with a range of donors and providing excellent service.

Ability to research and provide advice on community needs and approaches to philanthropy, relevant to donors interests and wishes.

Ability to analyse grant applications and make recommendations on them.

Experience

Purpose of the job

This role is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and driven individual to join the UK Youth Network Delivery Department. The Summer Jobs Programme is the largest programme in UK Youth’s portfolio. Funded until the end of 2026, the programme is currently operating in its second year. The purpose of this role is to identify and secure employment placements, including those that generate some income, for The Summer Jobs Programme as well as overseeing the employer journey from start to end. Working closely with the Summer Jobs Programme Manager, the Employer Engagement Manager has key input into the work experience aspect of the programme. 

The Summer Jobs Programme is a paid employment initiative running from July to September 2025 and 2026, supporting vulnerable young people in England and Wales. It aims to reduce youth violence and improve future engagement in education, training, and work by removing barriers to employment and offering structured, empowering opportunities. Young people begin with a one-week pre-employment training course, followed by a five-week job placement. Throughout, they’re supported by both a local youth worker and an employer-based supervisor to ensure they receive consistent guidance.

Funded by the Youth Endowment Fund and Youth Futures Foundation, the programme launched in 2024 with over 400 participants and has expanded in 2025. A built-in Randomised Control Trial (RCT) will assess its impact on youth violence and long-term outcomes. In 2026, the programme will grow further, completing a three-year period of delivery and investment aimed at driving long-term, evidence-based change.
