About the role
The Trusts and Foundations Advisor works strategically within the Partnerships and Business Development team to maximise impact and income by building high value partnerships and securing five, six and seven figure grants.
You will be responsible for building new relationships with prospect donors as well as providing exceptional stewardship of existing donors, and will collaborate closely with other teams in the wider division to create excellent proposals.
You will be expected to develop a strong pipeline of highly engaged Trusts and Foundation Funders committing to multi-year pledges to maximise income and impact, and build relationships based on trust and openness using the support of senior staff and Multi-Country Cluster based colleagues.
You will work collaboratively within the team and beyond, sharing expertise and ideas to create strong cultivation plans and proposals, and you will be expected to think critically about existing processes, aiming to create, adapt and deliver innovative ideas, initiatives and networks to secure impactful and meaningful support for Christian Aid’s programmes.
You will develop relationships with potential donors and partners and represent Christian Aid at appropriate networking events such as conferences and external meetings.
About you
We are looking for a confident fundraiser with significant experience of securing five and six figure gifts from Trusts and Foundations. You will demonstrate a clear understanding understanding of the Trusts and Foundations landscape and market trends, and will be able to employ a wide range of Trusts and Foundations fundraising approaches and strategies.
As a fundraiser, you will have significant experience of responding to the requirements and demands of funders, and demonstrable experience of producing in-depth, motivating and inspiring proposals and funding reports.
You will be able to demonstrate highly developed negotiation and influencing skills, and demonstrable experience of successful networking with internal and external senior stakeholders.
You will be able to demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills across your work.

About the role
Reporting in to the Global Head of Programme Policy and Practice, the Governance & Rights Lead is a key role designated as the single point of accountability governance and rights leadership across the organisation, aligning with Christian Aid’s organisational values and goals.
The post-holder will be responsible for co-developing a thematic strategy, collaborating with the Strategy and Learning Manager in organisational effectiveness, and with the Policy and Advocacy Lead in the Policy and Influencing division within the Impact Department.
The role is ultimately accountable for the delivery of the Thematic Strategy on Governance & Rights and for reporting progress towards this at regular intervals to measure success and maximise impact.
Some of the key responsibilities of the Governance & Rights Lead include:
- Co-develop, create and deliver a thematic strategy for the whole of the Governance & Rights thematic priority, including clear measures of progress and impact/success which are then reported against at regular intervals aligning with organisational values and goals.
- Lead as the organisational technical expert on governance and rights programming and collaborate with staff across the Impact and Fundraising departments so they are able to draw on governance and rights expertise – ours and our partners’ – in order to design, fundraise for and facilitate the delivery of strong signature programme work on governance and rights, maximising impact and income.
- Foster a culture of learning and improvement by identifying best practice among our partners and facilitating knowledge sharing across partners; by commissioning (or directly undertaking when appropriate) research and learning reviews to evidence good practice and course correct where needed.
- Build strong relationships with key policy and advocacy colleagues – particularly the Global Policy and Advocacy Lead for Governance and Rights –, focusing on ensuring insight and learning from programme practice feeds into, and influences public policy development, and provides evidence for advocacy materials.
- Collaborate with the Strategy and Learning Manager and the Impact and Evidence Manager to ensure appropriate evidence is being gathered and consolidated to measure and communicate the impact of our work on governance and rights and to adapt our signature programme approaches as necessary.
- Lead and build external networks so Christian Aid’s work on governance and rights is presented and promoted nationally and internationally, resulting in 1) an enhanced organisational profile within the sector to maximise our impact, 2) a portfolio of work that is innovative and in line with sector best-practice, 3) a pool of potential partners to engage and work with.

About the role
Reporting in to the Business Development Lead (MCC), the role of Business Development Manager for the East and Southern Africa region is a key role is being responsible for securing new funding aligned to Christian Aid's strategy and thematic priorities.
The role will lead business development efforts across the Multi-Country Cluster (MCC) and expand the Institutional funding portfolio and collaborate closely with and strategically advise MCC Head of Impact and Partnership & Impact Funding (PIF) team and MCC teams to develop donor engagement strategies, build funding pipelines, identify new opportunities, and establish partnerships to grow program portfolios.

- Meet institutional Christian Aid income targets at the MCC level, actively contributing to PIF overall divisional goals.

About the role:
EJF seeks a dynamic and highly organised individual to join our expanding Environmental Defenders (ED) programme. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as we scale up support for grassroots leaders who protect our planet and defend interlinked human rights.
Working closely with the Global Programme Coordinator, the ED Programme Officer will enable EJF to deliver tailored training on advocacy, investigation, and filmmaking to environmental defenders worldwide. This starts with supporting the coordination of our new Ocean Defenders project alongside EJF’s teams in Southeast Asia and West Africa.

Key responsibilities:

Essential experience and skills:

About the role
Reporting in to the Head of Impact for the Multi Country Cluster region (MCC), the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL) Lead will lead Christian Aid’s MEAL and as part of the MCC Senior Management Team, will work across Humanitarian, Development and Advocacy programmes in MCC countries to drive impact.
The role will work closely with partners and together identify areas for accompaniment support.
The post-holder will lead in the development, implementation and monitoring of Christian Aid, donor and sector MEAL approaches and requirements, providing effective and timely support (including capacity building) to programme staff and partner organisations, ensuring high-impact initiatives to maximise our impact.

STRUCTURE AND PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As Deputy Director, Digital Fundraising you will be based in the London office or work remotely and will be part of the Mass Markets Global Support Team. The Deputy Director will play a pivotal role in advancing IRC’s global digital fundraising efforts by providing consultation and hands-on support across paid media, creative development, analytics, and process improvement. Serving as a strategic adviser to country teams, they will guide campaign planning, platform strategy, and performance measurement while handling key relationships with digital agencies and platform partners. They will also support creative process refinement, champion digital ads testing and optimisation, and ensure compliance with data privacy standards. Through thorough analysis and cross-functional collaboration, the role will help refine attribution models, enhance reporting infrastructure, and drive continuous improvement across digital programs. Additionally, the Deputy Director will lead special projects to streamline operations and foster knowledge sharing across the global digital network.

In this role you will provide consultation and guidance on spending decisions about how best to utilise IRC budget on paid digital platforms to maximise income, and responsibility for suggesting, planning and delivering new and engaging ways to introduce prospects to the IRC brand.
Responsibility for Resources:
- Oversee Digital donor acquisition market support and cross market pilots - assessing the market needs and requirements and working with HQ functions to support local market fundraising goals and objectives
- Oversee and assess potential digital acquisition external opportunities available to IRC and advise fundraising markets on implementation.

- Act as subject-matter guide and adviser on paid platforms (Meta, Google, programmatic and others) for digital country teams.
- Guide efforts to translate digital strategy into campaign and audience recommendations, investment levels and bidding strategies, and measurement approaches.
- Work with internal MarTech colleagues and external digital media agencies to ensure operational readiness - to include pixel/tagging, audiences, budgets, trafficking, and more.

About the role
Reporting in to the Head of Impact for the Multi Country Cluster region (MCC), the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL) Lead will lead Christian Aid’s MEAL and as part of the MCC Senior Management Team, will work across Humanitarian, Development and Advocacy programmes in MCC countries to drive impact.
The role will work closely with partners and together identify areas for accompaniment support.
The post-holder will lead in the development, implementation and monitoring of Christian Aid, donor and sector MEAL approaches and requirements, providing effective and timely support (including capacity building) to programme staff and partner organisations, ensuring high-impact initiatives to maximise our impact.
The role will develop and promote Christian Aid’s profile and visibility with donors, sector stakeholders and beyond foster a mindset of connection, as well as drive digital technology and decolonised approaches in MEAL across all Christian Aid programming, share their ideas and insights.
Some of the main responsibilities for the MEAL Lead will include:
- Support MCC Senior Management to create a team environment and delivery of high-quality impactful programmes.
