About the Role

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative Support

• To be the first point of contact for challenge event supporters - ensuring that they receive responses within agreed timeframes, and always in a warm, friendly, and supportive manner.

Relationship Management, Development and Stewardship

• Develop strong working relationships internally to ensure the portfolio is delivered efficiently, particularly with the Community, Corporate, Database, Digital and Communications teams
• Assist with marketing, recruitment and organisation of all challenge events, and stewardship of challenge event participants on their supporter journey.
• Manage our DIY fundraising programme, making sure supporters' personal stories are recognised and they receive the best possible experience to encourage long-term engagement.
• Represent Combat Stress at meetings, events and presentations outside normal office hours (evenings and weekends) as required. You will be given time off in lieu of these hours.

The role is a Finance Assistant on an interim basis. The duration is expected to be 3-6 months.
Duties will include:

• Invoice processing and approval

About the Role and the Project

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals who will be responsible for coordinating and providing a flexible solutions-focused service to those accessing existing CPSL Mind services.  This role requires a proactive, “can do” approach that focuses on innovative approaches to supporting people to achieve their goals around a healthier lifestyle. Working alongside colleagues already providing mental health support to individuals through existing services, this role will provide assessment and specialist support, alongside the trusted professional.

This service is aligned to smoking cessation principles as outlined by the National Centre for Smoking Cessation and Training (NCSNT).

You should be passionate about promoting positive mental health, have excellent verbal and communication skills along with the confidence to promote Smoking Cessation messages, and the service internally and externally.

We have a great opportunity for a Trusts Officer working for a wonderful health charity. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with Trusts fundraising experience to manage their own portfolio of funders, leading on all stages of the cultivation cycle from prospect identification to stewardship to retain existing supporters and generate new business.

Proactive and tenacious, you will enjoy building relationships with funders via phone and email, using this insight to craft compelling and high-quality funding proposals and update reports which match funder interests.

To be successful as the Trusts Officer, you will need:

• Experience in creating bespoke written proposals and impact reports, with a track record of building and managing a pipeline of funders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
• Robust IT skills with experience using a CRM database or equivalent to update and maintain accurate donor information.
