The post holder will be fully involved in all aspects of the day to day management of their designated service, including line managing the relevant front line staff. You will lead and develop competence of direct reports as well as carry caseloads of customers requiring support. You will work closely with the Contract Manager to ensure that the service delivers on all targets, both financial and those around the quality of the service.

The shift pattern for this role is Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm, and occasional out of hours work when necessary.

List of rough responsibilities:

Ensure all marketing materials, online, offline, merchandise, press, print and any other areas not listed here, are of a high quality, not breaking copyright law, and are in line with the charity’s targets and strategies.

Ensure all teams in the charity have necessary provisions to progress the charity’s needs further. This includes but is not limited to; making sure staff are trained in software, best practice, new policies and processes.

You will play a key role in furthering the charity’s goals, this will involve from time to time, speaking at events, organising events and conferences, liaising with a wide range of stakeholders, and supporting however and wherever possible, fundraising bids, events and projects.

A key responsibility will be leading on digital fundraising strategy, considering and maximising the profitability of platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, our website, Justgiving, or payment platforms such as Stripe.

The successful candidate will ultimately be responsible for the management of all digital channels, including Social Media, Fundraising pages, Paid Social, Paid Search, Display & SEO, & website development/management - making sure the user is considered at the heart of each of these processes.

This role can be 3-5dpw and the client is open to shorter hours over 5 days, or any flex needed for school picks up etc, so this would suite someone quite well who has child commitments or just like the sound of a more flexible life balance.

The role will manage one person, with the charity only having 6 people in total, so the successful candidate will need to be quite hands on, and able to manage the whole spectrum of marketing and communications, which includes digital and PR.

The Baobab Centre is a non-residential therapeutic community supporting unaccompanied minors who have experienced human rights abuses and are seeking asylum, refugee status and settlement in the United Kingdom.

As an ‘advocate’ caseworkers support young people to express their views and wishes, to stand up for their rights, make choices and access opportunities.

As a Casework Advocate you will understand the impact of specific human rights abuses on the development of children and young people in exile and their individual experiences of loss, trauma and grief on their mental health and well-being. 

As a Casework Advocate you will be out and about with young people - accompanying to appointments and encouraging their involvement and access to their community and support networks. SLRA is a well-established local migrant support organisation working with and for refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants who are at risk or in crisis because of immigration issues. We provide specialist immigration advice as well as a broad range of practical, social and therapeutic support services. Our Nest Project brings advice and improved awareness and knowledge to migrant families with young children, through community settings in Lambeth and Southwark. The Nest Project Coordinator will lead on developing partnerships with and providing training to staff and volunteers in community settings as well as providing immigration advice and casework.

• Experience of providing immigration advice and casework support to migrant individuals who have complex needs, working sensitively and effectively within community settings.
• A strong track record in establishing and developing partnership working, and delivering training/workshops within community settings.

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and strong Administrator, preferably with HR recruitment and administrative experience; to support our newly formed people-oriented team. Aurora New Dawn is a registered charity providing support and advocacy to survivors of domestic abuse, stalking and sexual violence.

The Children & Young Person’s Advocate will support children at risk of domestic abuse, including sexual violence and stalking within a domestic abuse context within the Thames Valley area. Children will be identified via their non-abusing parent who is already accessing support as a victim of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking from Aurora New Dawn. The support offered to the child will be parallel to the non-abusing parent’s support and offers the parent a safe space to speak confidentially to their advocate.

The Children & Young Person’s Advocate will take part in age appropriate activities via various communication channels with the child. This can include telephone conversations, face to face visits, reading books, arts and crafts and offering an environment for the child to communicate any worries or concerns they may have.

About the role

We're looking for an Occupational Therapist who has experience in Complex Mental Health and Substance Misuse to join our residential service based in Croydon. You will use your skills and knowledge to support residents with mental health challenges, complex needs, and will provide specialist occupational therapy as part of their recovery. This is a great opportunity to shape your own role, alongside a team of Positive Engagement Workers, a Dual Diagnosis Worker, and Clinical Psychologist, whilst working closely with the Group Psychological Lead and other external partnerships. You will receive regular supervisions and have time with an external Occupational Therapist. 

You will:

• Deliver evidence-based interventions based on holistic assessments to support personalised recovery, integration, and promotion of independent living skills
• Be proactive with planning and delivering meaningful activities; this includes one to one and group sessions
• Work closely with clinical teams to meet people where they are, assess their situation, and write recommendations and signposting accordingly
• Assess their current situation through holistic assessments and put plans in place for them to overcome their personal barriers, to enable them for independent living and stability
• Provide psychologically informed interventions in a person-centred approach, flexibly to the resident needs
• Complete various assessments from function to task related to help empower enhanced community and personal engagement
• Set SMART goals in a collaborative way with residents, taking into account all information present from various team members and partner agencies.  

About you

We’re looking for a passionate, driven and qualified Occupational Therapist, registered with the HCPC who has experience working with people that have multiple complex needs. You’ll be confident applying theory to the practical working environment. We use a trauma informed, non judgmental approach, so it’s important that you can work well with others, fit into the team, and build trusting relationships. You will be able to apply your knowledge of relevant guidance and protocols to the working environment. You will have a background in a similar role, able to provide specialist support to our residents who struggle with their mental health and substance use.

What we look for:

• Ability to provide specialised occupational therapy assessment and treatment for residents/participants.
• Willingness to work in adherence to Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and Consultation Observation Tool (COT) and other practice guidelines.
• Ability to identify activity needs and wishes through various approaches such as assessments, observations, and discussions then use these to implement plans of action.
• Ability to recognise signs of deteriorating mental health, physical health, or other health implications and initiate appropriate interventions to prevent crisis or other risks.
• Supporting residents/participants with the relevant life skills, knowledge, and resources to support their journey to achieve independence and their desired goals.
• Ability to develop, participate in, and encourage residents/participants to participate in the running and development of various projects and group engagement activities.

Contract Managers are responsible for the effective management of all contracts within their designated patch, including line managing the relevant front line staff. Leadership and competence development in direct reports is a key responsibility of the role.

The working pattern for this role is Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. This is a 6 month contract until 03/2026.

What you'll do:
- Drive business planning activities within your contract, ensuring relevant and challenging objective setting and ongoing performance tracking, developing turn around action plans as may be necessary
- Work with the Young People directorate, contributing to and delivering the vision and strategy of our pathway
- Maintaining excellent relationships with the local council, commissioning team, landlords, and housing team
- Using sound financial and accounting principles, manage contract budgets to deliver on corporate and local contract financial targets
- Successfully lead and motivate your team to ensure the championing of and maintenance of a positive local culture within your service
- Work to continuously improve staff competence, ensure ownership of all staff issues and speedy and effective conflict resolution
- Responsible for reporting all staff changes to HR and Payroll departments, as appropriate e.g. starters, leavers, additional hours etc.
- Responsible for maintaining quarterly staff succession plans
- Deliver effective, professional and commercially focused briefings and supervision meetings with staff and ensure that information, reporting & communications flow up/down is effective

Your new role
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will lead and coordinate the financial planning process, owning the annual financial plan. You'll ensure that economic and operational assumptions are robust, aligned with strategic objectives, and reconciled across all financial statements. This role also supports regulatory reporting, rating agency presentations, and M&A analysis.
Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the annual financial planning cycle and preparing Board-level reports.
• Developing and challenging financial assumptions with divisional heads.
• Managing stress testing models.
• Owning the financial model and ensuring alignment across finance teams.
• Supporting regulatory submissions and responding to queries.
• Providing strategic analysis for internal committees and external stakeholders.
• Line managing financial analyst and fostering a collaborative team environment.

What you'll need to succeed

• A full accountancy qualification is essential (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent).
• Strong experience in financial reporting, forecasting, and compliance-ideally within housing or the not-for-profit sector.
• Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling tools.
• Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders across all levels.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
