Job description

Are you a standalone HR Manager looking for an exciting new challenge? Are you interested in working for an independent education charity?

I am working with a forward-thinking charity on a permanent Standalone HR Manager role based in London paying £50,000 per annum. The charity supports teachers and senior leaders to help raise the attainment of 3-18-year-olds and close the disadvantage gap across the UK.

This independent charity has recently created a HR department for the first time so this is an exciting time to join as you will play the key role as the organisation grows. You will carry out a wide range of HR generalist duties daily and you will work closely with the Finance, IT and Business Operations departments.

The key responsibilities of this job include:

  • Managing the whole employment life cycle for the charity.
  • Inputting the monthly payroll before it goes to Finance. Managing the pensions and benefits administration.
  • Supporting the hiring managers in all recruitment activities ranging from managing the recruitment inbox to dealing with agencies when required.
  • Ensuring the HR policies & procedures are in-line with the organisations business needs and employment regulations.
  • Creating a strategic succession plan to identify and develop employees through appraisals and training.
  • Champion the charity's diversity and inclusion strategy, working with all areas of the organisation.

This Standalone HR Manager position provides an excellent opportunity for an ambitious CIPD qualified HR professional to help shape the Human Resources department and support a rapidly growing charity. The charity is located in the heart of London close to a number of excellent transport links.
