The main function of the job is to support our Head of Operations and Retail in the administering of logistics, health and safety, warehousing and record keeping, all whilst ensuring a high level of efficiency and productivity. The post-holder will be making a key contribution to the sustainability of St Paul’s Centre, ensuring that we continue to support the local community.

What the job involves

We’re looking for a Customer Experience Executive to join our team on a fixed term basis covering an internal secondment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, people-orientated, Customer Experience/ Supporter Care professional to join an established team at one of the most dynamic charities in the UK.

You’ll be a critical part of the Customer Experience and Engagement Team in our Communications Directorate. Focussing on supporter care, you’ll be committed to building and strengthening long term relationships with our customers – from service users to fundraisers, from campaigners to volunteers. You’ll have experience using a CRM system (like Raiser’s Edge) and understand the importance of handling sensitive data in line with GDPR regulations. Ideally, you’ll also have a good understanding of fundraising rules, including Gift Aid.

Clinical Services Senior Officer

 What the job involves
We’re looking for a Clinical Services Senior Officer to join our Clinical Services Team on a fixed term role covering maternity leave.

Our Clinical Services team provide direct information and support to anyone affected by prostate cancer or prostate problems. This includes our Specialist Nurse team, who run a service available over telephone, email, WhatsApp and Live Chat. We also have a Risk Information Service providing information to undiagnosed men concerned about their risk of prostate cancer.

As a Clinical Services Senior Officer, you’ll play an integral role in running these services, making sure everything’s efficient and accessible to the people who need us. We receive around 15,000 contacts every year, and you’ll help make sure they get the best possible experience.

Managing the day-to-day delivery of the service means organising rotas, planning resources and making sure everything runs smoothly. You’ll line manage our Risk Information Officer and support the growth of our Risk Information Service too.

You’ll also take responsibility for reporting and analysing service data, identifying trends and working with the Head of Support Services to shape improvements. Clinical governance will be a key part of the role, making sure our services remain safe, high quality and in line with the right policies. You’ll also keep our clinical policies and processes up to date, manage GDPR compliance, and act as a key contact for the team, both within the charity and with external partners.

Alongside this, you’ll help promote our services by contributing to promotional plans, social media activity and website updates, making sure more people know we’re here to support them.

It’s a varied and rewarding role where you’ll be helping to shape and improve the support we offer every day.

What we want from you
Good communication is at the heart of this role. You’ll be comfortable using a range of channels and able to build positive working relationships with a variety of people, from healthcare professionals to external partners. A flexible, collaborative approach and a commitment to delivering excellent service are important too.

You’ll bring experience of managing complex work, keeping on top of data, and turning information into clear, useful reports and recommendations. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities will be key.

You’ll be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, with strong interpersonal skills and a positive, solutions-focused attitude. You’ll be able to support and guide colleagues, helping them deliver their best work. Experience using and maintaining databases is important, along with a good understanding of data protection. It would also be helpful if you’re familiar with project management tools and ways of working.

Knowledge of prostate cancer care and support, and an understanding of the nursing profession, would be beneficial for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Operational HR Delivery

What the job involves

Join our Customer Engagement and Experience team as our Data Imports Manager, where every day you’ll be helping to make sure our supporters’ donations and personal details are handled with care and accuracy.

You’ll manage the Data Import Team, who process around £30 million in donations each year and safely manage details for about 180,000 new supporters. It’s a role right at the heart of our operations, keeping our systems running smoothly and ensuring supporter data is looked after properly.

Day to day, you’ll manage the flow of financial and personal data into our CRM, whether it’s from third-party suppliers or our website. You’ll own the use of our automation tools to ensure data imports are efficient and accurate.

You’ll support your team, respond to data queries, and as the product owner of our bespoke ETL tool work closely with developers, designers and data teams to deliver high quality solutions. There’s plenty of scope to spot ways to improve how we work, reducing manual processes and making things quicker and smarter without compromising quality.

Alongside this, you’ll produce regular reports to keep things on track, such as weekly/monthly reconciliation reports for Finance, and oversee tasks such as creating our Gift Aid claim. You’ll also play a key part in developing and monitoring KPIs, making sure we’re hitting our goals and delivering a reliable, accurate service.

The Operations team forms the bedrock of the charity and this new role offers considerable room for growth and development.

Working with the wider Operations & Impact team, you will lead on managing the tech [SS1] and office environments, taking ownership of the relationships with key external suppliers, ensuring that the team has the support and equipment they need to do their best work.

About the opportunity

We're in a fantastic position to have recently have partnered with the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) for an evaluation of our programmes. 

We are now recruiting for a Programme Coordinator for our schools in Nottingham.

• The Nottingham Programme Coordinator oversees a caseload of up to seven partner schools. They manage the logistics and organisation of each school’s tutoring programme, working closely with the schools and pupils and managing the pool of volunteer tutors. They attend the weekly tutoring sessions at each school, as well as overseeing the quality of face to face and online tutoring, always working to deliver a great impact.
• The Nottingham Programme Coordinator supports the recruitment of volunteer tutors, manages the tutor sign up process, develops relationships with schools including their Senior Leadership Team and subject teachers, collects data for monitoring and evaluation purposes, and works with other internal teams on business development opportunities.

Duties and responsibilities
 

• Responsible for the delivery of Action Tutoring’s tutoring programmes in partner schools, whether online or face to face. This includes working closely to manage all key stakeholders: schools, pupils and volunteer tutors; regularly attending weekly tutoring sessions; leading on reviewing and improving programme delivery, using data to reliably assess programme performance.
• Responsible for overseeing the quality of tutoring, engaging in quality assurance processes, and providing feedback to volunteer tutors to ensure effective and impactful delivery. Provide regular check-ins with tutors to ensure ample support and guidance is given to provide targeted tuition to pupils.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in partner schools, including members of the Senior Leadership Team and subject teachers. Maintain clear and timely communication with relevant school staff, offering regular check-ins with key school stakeholders, and contribute to impact reporting to schools. Supporting the Programme Manager with strategies to retain and sustain school partnerships.
• Update and accurately maintain Action Tutoring’s database, including collecting timely data for monitoring and evaluation purposes, such as attendance records, baseline and interim assessments and pupil surveys. Reporting regularly on key performance indicators to key stakeholders and using them to enhance programme delivery. Work with the Programme Manager on business development, approaching new schools that might be interested in working with Action Tutoring.
• Proactively report to the Programme Manager on the details of Action Tutoring’s operations in their partner schools.

Job Title: Duty Independent Gender Violence Advocate (Duty IGVA)

Location: Lambeth, London
Salary: £23,085.69 per annum, inclusive of London weighting allowance

Hours: 30 hours per week (Tuesday-Friday). Please note that the the operating hours of the service are 8AM- 6PM Monday- Friday with the expectation to work on some days 8- 4pm or 10- 6pm to cover. 

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Duty Independent Domestic Violence Advocate to be the first point of contact for women who are impacted by domestic violence. You will work closely with victims of domestic abuse from the point of crisis and other gender-based abuse to provide high quality independent support to survivors all risk levels and their children..

In this role you will be part of a busy team. You will be the first point of contact for survivors who have been referred to the Gaia Centre. The duty IGVA will be responding to daily enquiries (specify from whom- public, agencies, individuals? over the phone and email as well as contacting survivors, assessing their risks and needs.

The duty IGVA will be responsible for carrying out and implementing safety plans and needs and will ensure an effective handover to the over to the relevant GAIA team for ongoing support. The post holder will also empower survivors by providing them with emotional, practical and personal welfare support. You will ensure that survivors are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming environment, enabling them to access their rights, make decisions and increase their life options. The job involves working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership protocols and procedures that prioritise the safety of survivors.

As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.

Job Purpose:

Women in Prison’s South London Women’s Hubs provide support and advocacy to women at different points of the criminal justice system – whether they are at risk of offending, serving a community sentence, or in custody and leaving prison. The primary purpose of this role is to work with women in custody, including on remand, offering support to prepare for release and connect them with vital community support services prior to and on release from prison.

1. Provide high-quality, trauma-responsive advocacy one to one and group support in prison, to women on remand in HMP Bronzefield, HMP Downview and HMP Send

We have a Senior Solicitor opportunity in our in-house legal team to work on a broad range of matters.

Fixed term contract until 16th January 2026, 4 days a week (0.8 FTE) 

The successful candidate will be required to provide legal advice across areas of law including but not limited to public law, charity law and general commercial law, including intellectual property, contracts and procurement.  You will also advise on subsidy control, information law and litigation, provide practical legal advice to help further our Strategy, It Starts with Community, in a user-friendly way, to ensures that we are complying with our statutory and regulatory framework.

The role requires an ability to get up to speed with new areas of the law as the team deals with a broad range of legal issues. The Senior Solicitor will use their legal knowledge and experience to improve the Fund’s internal processes.

They will generally manage their own legal files (often on important funding initiatives and partnerships) working in a highly collaborative and collegiate team, where the sharing of legal know how and continuous improvement is highly valued up to date management information about the work and impact of the Legal Team to senior managers.

The Senior Solicitor will be working in a Legal team of 14 colleagues. The role does not include any line management responsibilities but it does have matrix management responsibilities for more junior members of the team (Solicitors, paralegals and Legal officer). 

Strong general commercial legal experience is essential.  Experience working in an in-house or private practice environment in the UK with a varied and workload and wide range of customers would be ideal, as would experience of public law and advising public bodies.

The roles can be based in any of our UK offices, with hybrid home/office working arrangements available. It is expected that the candidate will attend the London office every couple of months for key meetings.
