First Give is a national charity that empowers young people to make a positive difference to the causes they care about. We do this by partnering with secondary schools across England and Wales, delivering a fully resourced programme that inspires an entire year group to connect with local charities and take meaningful social action — from fundraising and volunteering to campaigning and raising awareness.
Each programme culminates in a celebratory School Final, where student teams present their projects to an audience of peers, teachers, and guests. The winning class is awarded a £1,000 First Give grant for their chosen charity — but every participating student contributes to their community and gains skills, confidence, and a deeper understanding of social issues. This is an exciting time for First Give, as we have recently launched our three-year strategy and our ambition to activate the generosity of a million young people by 2034. In order to meet the requirements of the organisation for this ambitious growth a new 3 year fundraising strategy has been developed which includes expanding and diversifying our fundraising streams into Corporate and HNWI. We have also recently launched recruitment for a Fundraising Campaign Board Chair. The Campaign, A Route to A Million, aims to raise an additional £1.5 million over the next 3 years.
Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager
We are seeking a dynamic, strategic and relationship-driven Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager to lead on growing and stewarding First Give’s portfolio of high-value funders. This role will focus on securing income from High Net Worth Individuals and developing corporate partnerships – from first engagement to account management and delivery.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping First Give’s income growth, working closely with our Deputy Director. This role will also support key engagement activities, including hosting donors at student-led Final events and facilitating employee volunteering at schools.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident fundraiser and communicator with experience managing and deepening relationships with both individuals and corporates – someone who thrives on strategy, storytelling, and social impact.

Corporate Partnerships
- Work with the Deputy Director and members of the Campaign Board to develop a proactive pipeline of corporate partners, focusing on strategic alignment, mutual benefit and long-term value

Donor Engagement and Stewardship

Role Purpose
Winston’s Wish is a digital first organisation leading the way in Digital Transformation across the Bereavement sector. This role is new and exciting and will play a vital part in helping Winston’s Wish turn up the dial across our high value fundraising.
As Philanthropy Manager you will be responsible for growing income from major donors and Trusts and Foundations through excellent donor stewardship. Leading a team of committed Trust fundraisers, you will focus on identifying prospective individual donors and foundations and develop lasting relationships with them. You will also support the management of relationships with existing donors, ensuring all donors have an excellent experience of supporting Winston’s Wish and understand the impact of their support on the lives of grieving children.
Main Responsibilities
Leadership
- To lead and inspire the Philanthropy team fostering a collaborative and high culture that delivers against income and objectives.
- Provide clear and supportive leadership that motivates staff to achieve, develop and grow in their roles.

Philanthropy Fundraising
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with high-value donors, ensuring effective solicitation, stewardship, and follow-up to secure significant contributions (six-figure gifts).
- Build and maintain a portfolio of Trust & Grants supporters. Responsible for researching, approaching and developing compelling applications with a focus on ensuring Trusts & Grants provide a long-term, diverse and sustainable income stream.
- Lead the development and stewardship of the Philanthropy board to identify and secure transformational (6-7 figure) gifts and the development of the Business development Board to open opportunities with Corporate Partners.
- Write and design a compelling case for support that is tailored to our High Value audiences.

This is a Trusts and Foundations-focused Philanthropy & Partnerships Officer role with a mix of responsibilities across family Trusts and Foundations, Corporate Foundations, Wealth Management firms, and HNWIs. The Public Fundraising team are responsible for recruiting and stewarding new supporters in order to secure long-term income and growth. Our client is looking to appoint a Corporate Partnerships Officer who will help bring companies into long term relationships. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, entrepreneurial individual who wants to demonstrate how building relationships with the corporate sector can deliver results, improve patient care, and reduce illness. You’ll be trusted to work autonomously to develop and implement your own ideas on engaging your portfolio of partners and delivering events. You’ll report to and work closely with the Deputy Director of Development.

Managing your own individual portfolio of existing and prospective corporate partners

Stewarding your portfolio through organising 1-1 meetings and cultivation events

Developing high-quality funding proposals with the support of relevant project teams

Identifying new opportunities to secure corporate support through research and networking

Undertaking due diligence on prospective corporate supporters and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and legislation including the ABPI Code of Practice

A leading international organisation is seeking a confident, client-focused Account Manager to steward a portfolio of high-value public sector clients.

As the dedicated Account Manager, you’ll manage a diverse portfolio of government and intergovernmental clients. These are well-established relationships, with account values ranging from $50k to over $1.4m. With a current portfolio worth $5m and a target of $7m by 2026, this is a key hire, critical to sustaining the organisation’s impact.
You’ll act as the primary liaison post-sale, owning renewals, client engagement, procurement navigation, and usage optimisation. You’ll support the full lifecycle of account management, from contract renewal and compliance to upselling and client success. The portfolio includes a mix of active and developing accounts, offering plenty of scope to deepen relationships, increase engagement, and drive strategic growth. This role is ideal for someone with experience in public sector licensing, data services, or subscription-based partnerships.
As Account Manager, you will:
- Manage a portfolio of public sector accounts, including government bodies and multilateral institutions
- Lead renewals, procurement coordination, and contract amendments with precision and confidence
- Identify opportunities for account growth and present tailored solutions to increase value
- Deliver training and guidance to help clients fully utilise the organisation’s tools and services
- Coordinate with internal teams to address client needs
- Re-establish contact with lapsed accounts and improve overall relationship depth
- Track usage and maintain detailed CRM records to support internal reporting and performance reviews
- Ensure strong account hygiene, compliance with client requirements, and high satisfaction levels
Essential criteria

- You already work within an within an international development charity/NGO and have extensive experience in account management or revenue partnerships, especially with public sector clients
- You have thorough knowledge of government procurement, compliance, and budgeting cycles
- You are able to evidence success in managing large or complex accounts with multiple stakeholders
- You have experience in data, SaaS, or service-based nonprofits—particularly those selling tools or licenses
- You bring a track record of excellent relationship-building, including with previously disengaged or complex accounts
- You have strong organisational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced, remote environment
- You are confident communicating value and renewal strategy to senior client contacts
- You are proficient in using CRM systems such as Salesforce
- Your time zone is GMT or EST (or very close to)
