We have an exciting opportunity for a Trusts Fundraising Manager to join our dynamic fundraising team.

You will be responsible for overseeing and supporting with applications to our warm portfolio of charitable trusts as well as writing compelling bids to attract new funders. Working closely with the Trusts Fundraiser you will manage the reporting schedule and ensure excellent stewardship of funders through face to face meetings and annual receptions.

You will be an ambitious individual with a background in managing mid- and high-value membership schemes. With a focus on stewardship, cultivation events, and collaboration with the rest of the Philanthropy team, you’ll drive engagement and uplift donors.

As Friends and Patrons Manager, you will:

• Lead the strategic development of the Friends and Patrons programme, with a focus on innovation and driving growth

Role Purpose

We have a strong track record in developing corporate partnerships and delivering against programmatic grants. We have multi-year partnerships with UBS, NatWest, eBay, Pizza Hut, Bloomberg and BlackRock to name a few. Working with our Head of Corporate Partnerships, we would see you building on this track record and personally taking the lead on creating and inspiring bigger, better and stronger partnerships.

You will also act as an ambassador and represent the charity externally, promoting the work of the organisation and developing productive relationships and partnerships with external stakeholders to secure greater commitment to the charity.

Responsibilities

Account Management/ Stewardship

• Supporting day-to-day stewardship of Hatch’s strategic partners including Pizza Hut, UBS, BlackRock and NatWest.

• Integrating closely with our Programme team to support the engagement of founders for corporate requests (e.g. founders at corporate opportunities/ supply chain/ stalls/ panels etc).

• Work closely with the Programme team to develop volunteering opportunities and reporting back to partners on staff engagement (for example Friendly Dragons on Demo Days).

• Lead on additional stewardship and cultivation events (Lunch & Learns, networking events, showcase events)).

• Review and support on corporate volunteer onboarding.

New Business

• Fully research potential prospects and identify new regional and UK wide partnership opportunities, targeting proposals and making the most of links to develop long lasting partnerships.

• Cultivate potential employer partners, using networking and commercial skills to make imaginative, accurate and timely partnership proposals and applications.

• Support Head of Corporate Partnerships in securing and growing each partnership’s financial contribution covering both a corporate charitable donation and launching new employee engagement/fundraising activities.

Reporting/ Comms

• Write compelling cases for support to engage and motivate new and existing funders.

• Manage Benevity and Donorbox for additional donations.

• Use Monday. com and other CRM systems to record all approaches and delivery.

• Ensure the invoice and impact reporting schedule is clear with written contract agreements in place.

• Support Head of Corporate Partnerships to move partnerships from ‘in year’ renewal to a secure multi year (ideally three) year commitments/ written agreement.

• Work with colleagues to collate and deliver accurate data insights and impact reporting and inspiring story telling collateral related to partnerships.

• Develop the brand ambassador pillar of the partnership, inspiring and engaging employees to want to volunteer and fundraise  for Hatch Enterprise, delivering effective employee focussed events and content for corporate comms internal and external channels.

• Collate and share information for internal and external reporting purposes (i.e. sharing best practice, success stories).

Person Specification 

• Superb networking and relationship management skills, evidenced by experience of New Business Development and Account Management, ideally in the charity sector;

• An excellent  copywriter, with the ability to create compelling proposals which demonstrate the impact of our work and present a strong case for support to funders;

• Good knowledge of the UK corporate sector;

• Experience of prospect research, and with exceptional attention to detail;

• Analytical skills and the ability to see an opportunity, make a connection and seize the moment in relation to partnership building to meet mutual objectives;

• Efficient and accurate administrative and organisation skills;

• Good understanding and experience of working with corporate CSR, D&I, HR and commercial teams to build partnerships;

• An independent thinker, with the energy and organisational skills to manage different leads and work to tight deadlines;

• Ability to work effectively with others and in a team, to convene and facilitate stakeholders to collaborate on projects.

• Able to commit to evening and day-time events, predominantly in London.

City Harvest – Corporate Partnerships Manager
Location: Acton, London W3. Three days in the office.
Salary: Between £36k - £44k, depending on experience.
Contract: Permanent, full-time hours.  

City Harvest, the charity rescuing food to feed people and protect the planet, is seeking a corporate fundraising manager  with excellent relationship-building skills to be responsible for the management and maximisation of corporate partnerships at the charity.

Since 2014, City Harvest has been working to solve food poverty and food waste across London. Every week, the charity rescues over 100 tonnes of surplus food from the food industry. Staff and volunteers sort and package this food, and our vans deliver it, free of charge, six days per week to over 375 community partners across 30 London boroughs.  The organisation provides over 1.1 million meals monthly, with 43% of their deliveries made up of fresh fruit and vegetables.

Reporting to the Senior Corporate Development Manager, this role will lead and manage a portfolio of charity partnerships to an excellent standard. As well as managing and supporting the development of strategic partnerships, the post-holder will build relationships with multiple stakeholders at corporate partners to develop engagement and long-term commitment. This will include partnerships such as charity of the year, London chosen charity, commercial, cause-related marketing and affinity partnerships between £5-£100k. The post-holder will also develop high-quality materials for current and future partners and lead partner visits to City Harvest sites.

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience working in corporate fundraising in the charity sector or within a CSR team. You will be experienced in managing corporate partnerships and in building relationships with donors and senior stakeholders. Excellent writing and presentation skills will be combined with good time management abilities. You will also be highly organised and will have experience of using a CRM system for fundraising.

This is an exciting time to be joining the charity as it invests in, and expands, the corporate partnerships team, to ensure that they can grow, retain current support and attract new business.

About Northorpe Hall Child & Family Trust

We are a charity based in Kirklees, West Yorkshire with a commitment to working with and supporting children and young people under the age of 25 who are facing disadvantage in their lives. 

A large part of our work involves supporting the mental and emotional health of children and young people including supporting families where this will positively impact on young people’s mental health and well-being. 

We deliver support, services, activities and events from our beautiful buildings and grounds in Mirfield.  The site provides safe and therapeutic spaces which promote wellbeing as well as hosting weddings and events in the Northorpe Barn.

The role

This is a pivotal and exciting new role, with huge scope and freedom to diversify and generate income for the Trust.  You will be responsible for building up a strong and sustainable supporter base by working with a range of funders including trusts, foundations and corporate sponsors, building and maintaining relationships that last.

We are looking for someone with experience in generating income and our ideal candidate will be creative, proactive, dynamic, determined and enthusiastic.  The role requires excellent engagement and communication skills, both to help raise the profile of the Trust (and the important work we do) and to win the hearts and minds of a range potential donors from individuals through to corporate and charitable foundations.

You will be passionate about improving the lives of children, young people and families and use this platform to draw in funding from a range of sources whilst sharing stories of the impact fundraised income is making.  By joining us you will truly help to improve young lives.

We are looking for a Part time Legacies Manager (21 hours per week), for an inspiring children's welfare charity to develop, manage and grow the organisation's legacies portfolio.

This is a London hybrid role with one day a week in the office.

The Role:
Develop and implement strategic plans for legacy fundraising.

Make direct approaches to potential donors via phone calls, one-to-one meetings, presentations, cultivation, and networking events.

Build and maintain excellent relationships with a portfolio of actual and potential legacy supporters.

Ensure effective donor recognition and stewardship strategies are in place to encourage long-term commitment.

The Candidate:
Proven track record in legacy giving.

Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining relationships with legacy supporters.

Strong understanding of legacy giving, including the latest trends and opportunities.

Ability to create compelling legacy messaging and asks.

As Digital Fundraising Manager (Individual Giving), you will develop and deliver digital plans to support sustainable income growth and individual donor acquisition and development. Working closely with other Individual Giving Fundraising Managers and agencies, you will use your digital expertise to ensure campaigns are targeted and effective. And it’s not just about fundraising today, you will help inform our future thinking from a digital perspective.

You will be an experienced digital fundraiser, with a track record in using your expertise to deliver successful campaigns. You will have experience of managing digital teams and agencies. You will be passionate about raising income to help end homelessness, and inspiring supporters.

About the role

We are seeking a new Trusts and Foundations Manager, to maximise income for British Heart Foundation’s work through the research, development and management of high-level relationships with trusts and foundations.

You will manage a diverse portfolio of existing and prospective supporters, including some statutory funders. With an emphasis on new business, this post will focus on £75,000+ donors and securing multi-year gifts.

Growing income through strong relationships with private family trusts and institutions, you’ll provide a high level or personalised donor care and stewardship to encourage long term support.

About the team

BHF is creating a culture that drives transformational and sustainable income through philanthropic giving, from donors in the UK and overseas. To achieve this vision, we are building a high performing Philanthropy team comprising dynamic externally facing fundraisers, talented proposition writers, research and insight specialists, and event and stewardship experts.

Sitting within the Philanthropy team, the Trusts and Foundations Team structure comprises of Head of Trusts and Foundations, this role, another Trusts and Foundations Manager and a Trusts and Foundations Executive.

About you

An excellent communicator, influencer, and relationship builder, you have a proven track record of successful fundraising from trusts, foundations and institutional funders. You'll also bring experience in securing 5-6 figure gifts from new and existing donors along with demonstrable experience in developing new relationships from identification through to securing the first gift.

A strong team player, you'll have experience of writing compelling funding proposals and reports and communicating complex issues clearly and succinctly. 

Flexible, approachable, and collaborative, you'll be able to work closely with senior stakeholders, internally and externally to develop and execute solicitation plans.

You'll excel in forging strong and meaningful relationships, demonstrating the drive and passion to maximise funding opportunities. Additionally, you'll have the confidence and knowledge to be an ambassador for the BHF cause and our objectives.
