Job Purpose
As BSR’s Marketing and Communications Manager you will deliver impactful communications and data-driven marketing plans that support our mission and vision.
You’ll work with teams to build strategic marketing and communications plans and manage a tactical calendar of multi-channel activity. All of which will drive engagement with clinical guidance, the latest science and research, quality education programmes, professional events and conferences.
You’ll focus on promoting member benefits to boost recruitment and retention across the adult, paediatric and adolescent rheumatology community. And you’ll help colleagues to tell compelling stories of our work, to celebrate the work of our members, to showcase rheumatology as a career and to highlight the issues of most importance to our members.
You’ll lead a talented team that manages the organisation’s communications channels, digital marketing, content strategy, and our people focused brand. Working closely with the Head of Marketing, Communications and Membership, you’ll play a key role in our data capability and insights, helping us to focus on impact led activity. Main responsibilities
Team leadership and development

This newly created Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will be responsible for providing key insights to support strategic decision-making, ensuring financial performance aligns with business objectives, and embedding a culture of finance business partnering across the Football Foundation (the charity) and the Premier League Stadium Fund (PLSF). Working for the RSS
Pension and benefits
Our defined contribution pension scheme can be joined after three months in post. Your contributions of up to 8% of salary will be double matched by the Society (making a maximum contribution by the Society of 16%). A training budget, season ticket loan, cycle to work scheme and employee assistance programme are also available.
Location
The RSS office is in central London. We offer flexible working arrangements, and this is a hybrid role with a minimum two days a week working in the office. In person attendance for certain meeting is required, including all-staff / team meetings and governance / committee meetings that take place in person. Limited travel within the UK and internationally may be required.
Working hours

Responsibilities
- Collaborative Strategy Execution: Works closely with the UK Managing Director, incorporating programmatic priorities for developing key funding partnerships, to align and execute the trusts and foundations fundraising strategy.
- Strategic Growth & Income Diversification: Supports the development of and executes a growth strategy to increase trust and foundation income, leveraging both existing and new opportunities, including institutional fundraising and government funding where relevant.
