About the role:

Imperial College London is seeking a dynamic and strategic fundraising leader to join our Advancement Division as Deputy Director of Development (Trusts, Foundations & Corporates). This pivotal role will lead the development and execution of a high-impact fundraising strategy, aligning with Imperial’s ambitious new campaign, Science for Humanity. What you would be doing:

• Leading the strategy and delivery of philanthropic income from Trusts, Foundations, and Corporates in the UK and globally.

• Demonstrate a strong track record of securing major gifts (seven and ideally eight figures) from Trusts, Foundations, and Corporates.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders at the highest levels.
• Extensive senior-level fundraising experience.
• Strong understanding of donor stewardship and relationship management.
• A collaborative, self-motivated, and detail-oriented approach.
• Communicate with clarity and impact—both in writing and in person.

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive, evidence-based narratives tailored to donors, policymakers, and partners—translating complex data into accessible and compelling stories. Confident public speaker.
• Proven effectiveness in stakeholder engagement, with experience presenting insights and recommendations to senior audiences.
• Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills, demonstrating agility and responsiveness in dynamic, changing environments.

To perform this role, you’ll need the following experience:

• At least 6 years of experience in evidence generation and impact modelling within global health. Experience in the SRHR sector is strongly preferred, but not essential.
• Proven expertise in managing complex modelling projects and methodologies such as multi-sectoral impact evaluations in development contexts
• Experience presenting to diverse and senior audiences and have led meetings to facilitate insight generation and model development
• Experience with donor engagement and high-value project management, including reporting, and delivering strategic deliverables.
• Proven ability to work effectively across cultures, providing technical support and capacity building

Formal education/qualification

• Advanced degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Demography, Health Economics, or a related field.
• Additional qualification or formal training in impact evaluation is desirable.
• Proficiency in French is highly desirable (please specify level in your application).
• Additional training or qualifications in, impact evaluation and communication, data visualization (e.g., Power BI), and advanced Excel skills are an advantage.

Thrombosis UK is a small but impactful health charity focused on raising awareness, funding research, and supporting education around venous thromboembolism (VTE). With a team of just three staff and a dedicated Board, we are entering a transitional period and are seeking an Interim CEO to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and provide hands-on leadership while we recruit a permanent CEO.

This is a practical, sleeves-rolled-up role ideal for someone who is comfortable managing a small charity and supporting both strategy and admin. The Role:

You will be joining at an important time for our team, covering a crucial role in ensuring accurate income processing, reporting, and financial management across the organisation. As part of the Finance team, you will work closely with colleagues across departments, particularly alongside our fundraising team, to ensure income is correctly coded and reported efficiently. 

With responsibility for month-end and year-end processes, as well as maintaining accurate and timely financial data, you will play a vital role in supporting decision-making across the organisation. Your work will ensure colleagues have the financial insights they need, enabling strategic planning and effective resource management. 

Strong communication skills are essential for this role, as you will liaise with teams across the organisation to provide clear financial updates, answer queries, and ensure income is accurately coded and reported in line with financial procedure. Your clear communication of financial information will support informed decision-making and ensure compliance with procedures. 

To succeed in this role, you will have strong financial processing experience, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You should be comfortable working with financial systems and software, with the ability to efficiently manage data, generate reports, and ensure accurate income tracking.

Our Finance team provides vital support to the organisation, ensuring robust financial systems, compliance, and efficiency across all areas. You will be joining a collaborative and dedicated team committed to delivering high-quality financial management and support to colleagues working across a wide range of impactful projects.

Additionally, the team comes into the office during busier periods, such as financial year-end and audit, to collaborate with auditors (June/July). You can work remotely for the rest of the time. Equally, you may prefer to work from the office full-time. We encourage all colleagues to visit member hospices to help inform our work and you may be able to work from there.

• A proven track record of leading teams in both operational and project roles.

Role Overview 

We are seeking a proactive, strategic, and driven individual to lead our grant and bid writing function while also developing and managing relationships with corporate donors and partners. You will work closely with senior leadership to secure vital income through trusts, foundations, and businesses that align with our mission. 

Key Responsibilities 

Grant & Bid Writing (50%) 

• Research and identify suitable funding opportunities from trusts, foundations, and statutory bodies. 

• Write compelling, evidence-based grant applications and funding proposals. 

• Manage a pipeline of funding opportunities, ensuring deadlines are met. 

• Develop and implement an impact reporting strategy for grant and bid writing. 

• Monitor and report on funded projects in collaboration (using Salesforce) with delivery teams. 

• Maintain relationships with funders through regular updates, impact reports, and renewal applications. 

Corporate Fundraising & Partnerships (50%) 

• Implement our corporate fundraising strategy to increase income from businesses. 

• Identify and approach potential corporate partners, managing outreach and engagement.

At Evolve Counselling CIO, our mission is professional, accredited mental health talking therapies - at low cost or no-cost - for those who need them most.

Working with adults as private individuals, or through employee wellbeing and assistance schemes, we offer hundreds of remote or face-to-face sessions every month – and demand is growing.

The new Business Development lead is crucial to the long-term success and impact of Evolve Counselling.

You will be securing new and existing professional mental health counselling contracts with a range of commercial clients, increasing our engagement with private individuals - either referred to us or independently seeking the best counselling, plus sourcing charitable grants and sponsorships to support our ‘low-cost or no-cost’ ambitions, and building voluntary sector partnerships to further our work.

A good background in charitable fundraising and development, or solid commercial new business/sales management experience, is essential.

This is a part-time role, remote working, but with a requirement to be able to attend frequent on-site meetings concentrated upon Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, and Northamptonshire - as well as across the wider UK.

Salary: £12,500 pro rata for 15 hours a week (£29.2k FTE). Initially 18 months, with the possibility of extension to permanent full-time for on-target performance.

The Head of Communications at CBM UK is a crucial role, with responsibility for increasing the profile of CBM UK to enable the organisation to deliver its strategic objectives. This role has tactical and long-term strategic decision-making responsibility.
The post-holder is responsible for the development and implementation of the requisite communications plans, policies and procedures that are required to deliver CBM UK’s 2026-2030 strategy. Key areas of responsibility include developing brand definition, messaging and presentation; delivering increased media coverage; acting as a spokesperson; and strengthening organisation-wide communications by producing high quality content and through demonstrating evidence of our impact.

Key responsibilities
Strategic (20%)
a. To develop CBM UK’s strategic communications objectives and annual plans to enable CBM UK teams to deliver the 2026-2030 strategy.
b. Improve brand definition, messaging and presentation to ensure CBM UK’s work and positioning is communicated effectively to target audiences.
c. Develop and implement clear communications policies and procedures for CBM staff to follow in order to successfully and cohesively represent the CBM brand.
d. Ensure that the voices of people with disabilities are at the heart of CBM UK communications.
Communications and networking (60%)
External
a. Oversee and deliver media relations activity to meet CBM UK’s objectives. Develop effective working relationships with target media, respond promptly to queries (sometimes out-of-hours). Prepare, issue and ‘sell in’ press releases, ensuring key messages are prominent and act as an organisational media spokesperson. Monitor relevant media coverage to increase effectiveness of activity.
b. Lead and manage the Communications team to deliver communications activity to increase fundraising and advocacy potential from public and sector audiences. This includes responsibility for delivering campaigns, publications, social media posts, blogs and website pages as needed, and acting as an event spokesperson. Content sign-off authority within agreed parameters.
c. Collaborating with the Advocacy and Programmes teams to ensure outputs, evidence and messages are widely disseminated and communicated.

d. Oversee the management and development of the CBM UK website(s) to ensure that it reflects the work, values and mission of CBM UK and that it inspires a range of audiences to take action.
e. Be an outstanding advocate for CBM, delivering communications in line with the vision and values of the charity.
f. Awareness and anticipation of trends and legislation in charity communications, enabling CBM UK to respond and adapt as appropriate.
g. In the event of a humanitarian crisis, contribute to developing an emergency appeal.
Internal
a. Work with CBM UK and global colleagues and partners to ensure appropriate resources are available. This includes oversight of the collection of human-interest stories, images and film that portray people with dignity and respect, while challenging the stigma and misunderstanding around disability and global poverty.
b. Oversee the implementation of the CBM UK Sector Communications Strategy through attending regular meetings and collaboration with Programme and Advocacy teams. To manage the Communications Team to deliver the communications-led activities outlined in the strategy and ensure advocacy and evidence messaging and outputs are effectively communicated.
c. Build excellent working relationships with the CEO and Board.
d. Regularly review, update and provide training to CBM UK staff on the Crisis Communications Media Plan and be a member of the Crisis Communications Management Team.
e. Help increase CBM UK’s network of high-profile supporters to support fundraising and advocacy: maintain prospects spreadsheet, research contact details and background details, prepare briefs.
f. Support fundraising and advocacy teams to increase CBM UK’s network of high-profile supporters.

Leadership and people management (10%)
a. Support and inspire direct report in line with CBM UK’s staff management policies and procedures. Ensure team members are appropriately trained, briefed and motivated to achieve their objectives and meet targets and recruit to posts where relevant. Regular 121s and appraisal reviews.
b. Serve as a member of the Senior Management Team
Planning, reporting, budgets (10%)
a. Develop and report on key performance indicators, milestones and targets to facilitate informed decisions and improved working practice.
b. Plan and manage budgets to ensure funds are used to maximum effect.
c. Work with the Data and Insights Team to ensure appropriate recording of communications activity through the database (Salesforce) or through integration with other databases and platforms.

Other
a. Work with other teams, including the CBM Global Federation, to maximise collaboration opportunities and integrated working.
b. Help develop a culture of enthusiasm, continual improvement and success which reflects the ambitions of CBM UK.
c. Occasional out of normal office working hours. Occasional travel in the UK and internationally.
d. Other duties as required by the Director of Fundraising, Impact & Communications.

It is a very exciting time to join the MS Society as Evidence Programme Lead. We are implementing an ambitious cross-organisational transformation programme. And we have just started a new 2025-29 strategy.

We’re looking for a person with strong social research skills who has the ability to lead our Evidence team. We’re looking for someone who can work collaboratively across the organisation to ensure we’re developing our evidence base to inform our work.

With extensive experience and knowledge of applied research, evaluation and data analysis, you’ll provide strategic leadership to design, develop and deliver a programme of evidence projects as well as managing a team of evidence officers, identifying gaps in our evidence and providing advice about how to fill them.

You’ll deliver internal projects and commission external research projects, working with colleagues in policy, press, campaigns and beyond to do so. Contributing to key internal working groups will be another key aspect of the role, as well as monitoring and responding to requests for evidence. And you’ll be committed to ensuring people with MS are involved in the design and delivery of evidence projects and to ensuring we seek views from people from a wide range of backgrounds.
