About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring proven experience in managing high-value relationships across corporate partnerships, major donors, trusts & foundations, and statutory bodies. You'll have a strong track record of securing and growing long-term partnerships, including successfully negotiating six or seven-figure sums with corporate partners and/or major donors. You'll bring outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to engage high-value supporters and collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the corporate, trust & foundation, major donor and other high value supporter strategies.
• Manage and develop the Rapid Response Network, retaining existing partnerships whilst also identifying and securing new partnerships.
• Deliver excellent stewardship that retains and develops support.
• Take to completion and implement recommendations from strategic projects, to include the major donor review and the RRN / corporate support review.
• Continually hone “next appeal” plans that lead to successful appeal launches and maximise funds raised throughout the appeal life cycle.
• Achieve annual core cost income targets and put in place robust forecasting for future years.

About The Role  

The purpose of this role is to have overall responsibility for The Phoenix Way (TPW) Programme across the London, South and East regions and delegating day to day management South and East Regions to a dedicated Programme Manager. The role includes:

Strategic oversight of and accountability for the London, South and East regions of The Phoenix Way the creation of sustainable Black and racially minoritised communities and community-led organisations across three separate regions, with an in-depth focus on Greater London by ensuring there is an equitable stake in decisions relating to funding processes, priorities, funding allocations and beyond.

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Communications and Campaigns Lead to deliver high-impact public communications and campaigns that strengthen Z2K’s profile, influence change and support our fundraising goals.

Working closely with the Director of Policy & Engagement and colleagues across the organisation, you’ll lead the planning and delivery of engaging communications and campaign activity across digital, media and supporter channels. You will also mobilise supporters and communities for in-person actions that amplify our campaigns and deepen public engagement.

You’ll play a key role in bringing our new organisational strategy and planned rebrand to life - ensuring our external messaging reflects our values, demonstrates our impact, and helps secure the income and influence needed to deliver our mission.

A core part of the role will involve ensuring our fundraising communications are compelling and strategic, helping us build stronger relationships with supporters and funders. Equally, you’ll work with colleagues and communities to design and deliver campaigns that are shaped and delivered by people with living experience of poverty.

About You

 You’ll be a skilled and creative communications and campaigns professional, with a track record of delivering high-impact, audience-focused content and activity across digital, media and supporter channels. You’re confident managing multiple priorities, spotting opportunities in a fast-moving external environment, and adapting messaging to maximise reach and impact. Experience of in person mobilisation would be an added advantage.

You’ll bring strong project management skills and enjoy working collaboratively across teams to produce clear, compelling communications that support fundraising, influence policy, and build public pressure. Whether it’s crafting supporter actions, writing stories that centre lived experience, or securing media coverage, you’ll be comfortable leading delivery while contributing ideas to wider strategic thinking.

About the role

This is an exciting new role in Crisis to lead on the practical development of Brent Council’s neighbourhood working approach in Harlesden and feed into Crisis’s new strategy, building on our experience of place-based work in Brent, developing new approaches to preventing homelessness and income insecurity and leading on local system.

The postholder will be line managed by Crisis Brent Skylight Director and is supported by Brent Council’s Head of Place Leadership.

You will:

• Implement a new, place-based vision for neighbourhood working which shifts away from traditional, transactional approaches towards more sustained, relational working with residents at risk of homelessness or living with income insecurity.
• Coordinate and support a co-located and co-working integrated neighbourhood team, consisting of statutory, health and voluntary sector partners, as well as community groups and residents to meet locally agreed strategic objectives, by providing a whole system, joined up experience for individuals, which is preventative, proactive, person-centred and relational.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with a range of stakeholders fostering a learning culture which is adaptable, collaborative and flexible.
• Develop local systems to support Brent Council’s radical place making approach by setting up new services and cross service teams, including contribution to the development of an operating and outcomes measurement approach.
• Utilise learning from the RPL lead approach, the integrated neighbourhood team and casework delivered on upstream prevention to feed into Crisis strategy and place-based approaches.
• Support and influencing place-based and data-led change

About you

• You can demonstrate experience of developing and/or leading on system change, through partnership and collaboration and an ability to bring together individuals and organisations with potentially competing priorities and agendas to enable them to coalesce and achieve positive progress around shared objectives.
• The successful candidate can create, tailor and implement effective procedures and new ways of working that lead to achieving outcomes and objectives, by initiating and leading change.
• You have the ability to set up, manage and support a multi-agency and multi-disciplinary partnership by creating and supporting a learning culture that explores, tests, fails and adopts sensitively and collaboratively, maintaining strong and positive working relationships.
• You can demonstrate excellent self-management and organisational skills, with experience of project management, monitoring progress and achieving outcomes and/or deadlines during complex and inter-related operations.
• Experience or understanding of housing/ homelessness, adult social care, health, criminal justice, or other relevant sectors, with an ability to work across boundaries is essential and you will have an understanding of involving vulnerable and excluded people in improving systems.
• You have excellent communication skills and influencing skills to understand and harness the value of different competencies, progressional backgrounds, skills and experiences within the integrated neighbourhood team and other audiences.
• The successful candidate has experience of using data and insight to drive decision making, ability to interpret and analyse complex issues, clearly communicating key concepts.
• You will demonstrate commitment to Crisis’ purpose and values, alongside Brent Council’s values .

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing, Communications and Fundraising Director to lead our strategic communications and fundraising efforts, with a strong focus on growing the visibility and profitability of our charity shops.

This hands-on leadership role will shape and deliver integrated marketing campaigns, drive footfall and customer engagement across our retail estate, and build brand awareness for both our shops and charitable mission. Main duties:

· Oversight and delivery of all programme activities relating to Gateway including drop ins, one-to-one support, group activities and faith based activities.

· Establish and drive the overall strategic vision for the service in line with the operational plan and informed by the needs of the people the service exists for

· Lead the design and development of new services in line with client needs, resources, staffing and strategic purpose of the team.

· Hold direct budget responsibility for day-to-day operations and in line with any specific funding requirements

· Be an active member of the Off the Fence leadership team

· Review and implement policies and procedures for safe service delivery

· Provide reports on key activity, outputs and impact in line with KPIs and other reporting requirements.

· Line manage the team of key workers, providing regular performance reviews, pastoral support and identifying training needs.

· Support with the recruitment and onboarding of new team members, including in-house training and supervision

· Ensuring that key workers have a good working knowledge of local services, referral routes, other agencies and when to highlight safeguarding concerns.

· Provide pastoral support for the team and volunteers in the service

· Lead Bible studies, prayer meetings for staff, volunteers and at external events as required

· Recruit, retain and manage volunteers in line with organisational policies and procedures

· Ensure safe and efficient delivery of services in line with health and safety, safeguarding, data protection and safe working practices.

·      Plan and maintain safe staffing ratios through effective resource allocation

· Design and delivery of projects/activities in line with fundraised income, including reporting and engaging with funders as required

· Build and establish key sector relationships across the city to enhance the team’s reach and impact in the community

· Oversight and pastoral responsibility for the faith-based activities delivered for and with clients

· Build and establish relationships with other providers who can meet the needs of our clients e.g. local health teams.

· Contribute to wider profile-raising activities of Off the Fence

· Review and implement policies and procedures for safe service delivery

· Have responsibility for the safe processing and storage of client data in line with data protection regulations and policies, including CRM.

· Regularly review the effectiveness, safety and efficiency of all services including drop ins and one-to-one support.

· Active membership of and attendance at local forums, groups and networks

Key attributes and experience required for the role:

· Proven experience in managing frontline services and staff teams (minimum 3 years in a supervisory/management role)

· Experience in delivering services with vulnerable client groups

· Strong knowledge of the legal and statutory framework for housing, benefits, employment.  Ideally, knowledge of local services and support agencies.

· A passion for seeing women thrive – practically, emotionally and spiritually

· Strong alignment with the vision of Off the Fence, and a commitment to our organisational focus

· Strong understanding and application of safeguarding, data protection and health and safety policy.

· Experience in service design, service improvement and project management

DUTIES OF THE POST

This is a full-time, fixed term for 30 months. The position is fixed term due to being part of a government funded innovation programme, however there may be potential to continue in employment with the company partner following the completion of the KTP.

The duties of the post will include:

• Co-producing and implementing data-led impact evaluation tools and a community needs assessment framework, grounded in the Theory of Change model, to support improved mental health outcomes.

• Developing and piloting tools for data collection, analysis, and reporting—such as Power BI dashboards, stakeholder feedback mechanisms, and longitudinal tracking systems.

• Leading the creation of a scalable follow-up review tool to track long-term service user outcomes and support strategic decision-making.

• Producing high-quality research outputs, including academic publications, conference presentations, and a final project report.

Title: Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Advisor (Qualitative Evidence) 

Salary: £41,000 to £56,000 per annum

Responsibilities 

About the role 

We are seeking an experienced Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Advisor to provide sound technical advice and guidance to ensure high quality qualitative outcome measurement tools and approaches in line with our increasing portfolio in disability and social inclusion in order to continuously improve Sightsavers’ evidence base. 

As the MEL Advisor you will lead qualitative project baseline and endline data collection, coordination, reporting and learning to improve the quality of our programmes and Sightsavers impact. You will maintain and further develop Sightsavers’ qualitative outcome monitoring approach across our thematic areas and ensure high quality data collection, analysis and reporting.

Sightsavers has developed and introduced a MEL framework to measure the organisation’s strategic progress - Learning Accountability and Monitoring Progress (LAMP). The post holder will support its processes and make a significant contribution to understanding progress using qualitative evidence. 

Responsibilities include: 

Developing and strengthening practices 

• Lead on the strengthening and design of innovative and participatory monitoring and evaluation methodologies and tools to assess outcomes and impact of programmes; support the integration of successful approaches in routine MEL practice.

• Lead on the piloting, implementation and revision of Sightsavers MEL approaches in existing and new projects including strong links with LAMP; support MEL team members to implement appropriate tools. 

• Contribute to Country Office, Regional and Global capacity building plans and provide MEL-focused training and facilitation.

Technical Support and guidance 

• Strengthen the use of Theories of Change (ToC) within projects through participating in their development and ensuring clear relationships between ToC and baselines and endlines. 

• Provide technical support to logframe development during the project design process ensuring strong links with LAMP, particularly for social inclusion and inclusive education projects. 

• Contribute to project MEL planning by ensuring continuity between baseline and endline data collection tools, and annual monitoring tools. 

• Ensure the accurate design of evidence gathering elements, including clear and robust rationale, budgets and resourcing. 

• Maintain open lines of communication among internal stakeholders about project progress and escalate risk when needed. A key focus is to assist institutional funding and senior management with communications on project progress and challenges. 

Evidence generation and learning 

• Lead Country and Global teams to conduct evidence generation activities to support strategic direction including, project baseline, annual and endline data collection, reporting and learning at project and portfolio (strategy) level 

• Analyse, consolidate and disseminate indicator baseline and endline data, provide technical support to donor reporting when necessary 

• Support the integration of needs and opinions expressed by people and communities we serve 

• Collaborate with MEL team members to analyse performance data, write reports and provide recommendations 

• Ensure that learning from project baselines contributes to project design, implementation and improvements in MEL practice

• Support the design, delivery and dissemination of learning, particularly around inclusion, within and between relevant thematic areas 

The post holder is expected to travel up to eight weeks a year locally and internationally. The role offers flexible working from home and the office to be agreed upon with the line manager. 

Skills and Experience 

As the successful candidate you will possess a degree in a relevant field or subject (international development, public health, social sciences), or equivalent learning and experience. You will have a background in the comprehensive design and delivery of outcome focussed qualitative approaches/techniques including participatory MEL, tool development, data collection, analysis and reporting, and have experience of analysing rich qualitative data from multiple sources including the use of appropriate analysis methods and data analysis software tools. 

Further required knowledge, skills and experience include: 

Essential 

• Experience in monitoring, evaluation and learning gained within the international development sector in programme countries.

• Excellent technical skills in monitoring, evaluation and learning: developing and using theories of change, designing MEL plans, designing logframes, managing oversight processes, sharing evidence and communicating learning, data quality assessment.

• Experience producing analytical reports and communication materials of good quality for a wide range of audiences, particularly using qualitative data. 

• Excellent self-management and initiative with proven ability to independently manage large, complex pieces of work with multiple stakeholders in a high-pressure environment working to competing deadlines. 

• Ability to build and manage strong, effective working relationships with internal and external audiences on complex international development projects (working with multiple countries and continents) 

• Ability to balance attention to detail with understanding the big picture. 

• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office products and relevant use of artificial intelligence (AI) software 

Desirable 

• Fluency in other Sightsavers’ languages e.g. French, Portuguese, Bengali, Kiswahili.
