Carer Wellbeing Workers provide invaluable services to help improve carers’ resilience and ensure they are supported to maintain their caring roles. They provide tailored information and advice, practical, emotional and planning support, peer opportunities, contingency planning, active listening and through partnership working are pro-active in the identification of carers.
Using experience of working with adults and families, a working knowledge and / or lived experience of social care and health, the postholder will use excellent communication and interpersonal skills to offer carers one-to-one and group support either face to face, via the telephone or using virtual video mediums such as Zoom or MS Teams.
The role is a mix of remote / homeworking and community venues. You will be expected to be readily able to travel across Adur, Arun and Worthing to deliver carer support and on occasion to venues across the County to attend meetings and training as required.

About the Role
A stimulating and rewarding opportunity has arisen for a Practitioner Psychologist with a Forensic background. You will work alongside the Group Psychological Lead and other members of the team within our Independent Approved Premises (IAP) to deliver psychological services to residents and staff. In this role, you will apply your skills and knowledge in building new teams and expand our operational delivery within our IAP. You will play a strategic role in our organisational growth with new services, with a focus on shaping service delivery; offering specialist advice, supervising assistant psychologists and postgraduate research.
Our IAP's support residents who have left prison and are based within a residential setting to reintegrate into the community. They are given support and guidance to aid their reablement, resettlement and rehabilitation post prison. - Providing high quality psychological services, contributing to the delivery of Approved Premises aims as specified by the Ministry of Justice.
- Ensuring all services are delivered in accordance with HCPC standards of conduct, performance and ethics.

We’re building a Transport Solutions Team that works flexibly across all the tools in our delivery kit – from grants and innovation pilots to research, partnerships, and commercial interventions. - Communications Delivery Plan: Effective coordination of both messages and activity – both reactive and proactive throughout the year. Including improvements with revised website navigation and architecture, SEO improvements and content targeted at priority groups, including use of video, and influencers.
- Senior Leadership Team: Be an active member of the Senior Leadership Team taking collective responsibility for decision making, risk and budget management across the Trust. Work with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure all communications effectively contribute to and support all strategic goals of the Trust.
- Brand Marketing: Work with teams to improve our products and services and how these meet the needs of our audiences, including working with focus groups (with co-creation when relevant).

Responsibility 2: Communications Delivery
- Line Management: Manage, support and develop a team of staff and volunteers to deliver the communications work programme, providing effective line management. Including the provision of specialist support and advice for the development of specific communication campaigns or tools across the organisation.
- Budgets: Ensure communication activity elsewhere in the Trust is produced within allocated budgets and timeframes.
- Performance: Set and manage KPIs and budget for communications programmes, monitoring and reporting performance and reforecasting in line with Trust requirements. Continuous improvement.
- Brand: Develop the Trust’s brand, ensuring a clear and distinctive brand proposition and engaging brand identity, which also supports the Trust as part of the Wildlife Trusts movement. Ensure the brand’s consistent use and monitor the link with the Trust strategy and values.
- Public Affairs: Oversee the PR and media relations (press office function), and act as a key charity spokesperson when required. Horizon scanning and being aware of emerging issues to develop opportunistic messages to optimise nature recovery actions.
- Crisis Management: Protect the Trust's reputation by ensuring the effectiveness of robust crisis management plans and the definition of clear policies and position statements.
- Design, Content & Print: Coordinate the Annual Report with teams and Trustees. Editor for the members’ magazine and print products to support membership retention and enable action for nature.
Responsibility 3: Campaigns for Change
- Strategic Campaign Planning: Work with our policy, advocacy and engagement specialists to design campaigns that move people through the engagement funnel, change behaviour, influence policy, and improve supporter retention. Work with the Exec Team to set campaign objectives tied to clear outcomes: acquisition, activation, retention, behaviour change, policy influence, or income generation.
- Supporter Journeys & Segmentation: Map and optimise journeys across channels (email, web, social media, print, events) with named next steps that move people toward deeper engagement and action.
- Marketing Campaign Leadership: Own the strategic design of multi-channel marketing campaigns and provide clear briefs and creative direction to the delivery team. Ensure channel integration so website journeys, email, print content and social media activity are coordinated and measurable. Keep storytelling compelling while optimising for acquisition and action.
- Advocacy & Policy Campaigns: Work across teams to design campaigns to influence systems change by leveraging our data and evidence, combining public voice, stakeholder engagement and targeted advocacy tactics.
- Behaviour Change Campaigns: Work with our engagement specialists to apply social marketing techniques and behavioural frameworks to shift norms and the adoption of actions for nature. Specifically, you will:
Influencing
· Support the further development, refinement and delivery of the charity’s influencing strategy and impact evaluation process, in line with the charity’s own strategic ambitions.
· Lead the development of insightful written materials and reports to aid influencing.
· Lead the charity’s response to regional and national consultations relevant to cancer in Yorkshire, making a robust and evidence-based case for the charity’s position.

About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:
· To have a degree in a relevant subject area, for example public policy, public health, scientific, medical etc.
· To have substantial experience of writing influencing materials such as briefings, letters, blogs, campaign materials.

Reporting to: Community & Challenge Events Manager

Job purpose:
- Lead and grow community fundraising activity and campaigns to support Willow’s strategic income goals
- Build and steward strong relationships with donors, fundraisers, volunteers, and community partners to increase support and awareness.
- Develop innovative fundraising initiatives with the Community and Challenge Events Manager, informed by sector insights and trends.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of Community, Challenge, and wider Fundraising Team targets and events
Key Responsibilities:
- To help lead and develop our Community Fundraising strategy and plans within agreed budgets to achieve financial non-financial targets.
- To raise awareness of our work and to inspire support through:
- Providing outstanding stewardship to our network of supporters to maintain engagement and build loyalty. To provide a highly personalised approach to supporting Willow’s fundraisers ensuring our supporters receive a positive experience throughout their fundraising activity
- To proactively develop relationships with various organisations within the community setting, including, schools, societies, community groups and companies.
- To create a pipeline of activity, that helps us to reach new audiences through proactive outreach
- To coordinate and deliver presentations to a variety of community audiences, with support from wider team and volunteers.
- To organise and deliver a calendar of fundraising activity that creates opportunities for supporters to help Willow. Ensure participation and income targets are achieved.
- To develop the charity’s social media fundraising activity in collaboration with the wider team.
- Collaborate closely with the Communications Team, to help plan and develop multi-channel campaigns including on and offline activity that inspire and engage people.
- To work with the Communications Team to produce campaign materials, share interesting stories and fundraising updates. Prepare content for newsletters, website, and social media.
- To develop a team of volunteers to support fundraising activity. This could include delivering talks, attending events, and promoting Willow at community events.
- To foster relationships with Willow’s network of charity shops and explore collaborative opportunities to mutually support each other’s initiatives.
- To ensure accurate recording of supporter information and reporting on activity through:
- Updating the charity’s database, Raisers Edge (RE) recording all donor contact and fundraising activity.
- Using RE as a tool to aid fundraising using data insight and reporting
- To prepare end of campaign reports to improve results for future campaigns and capture learnings.
- To prepare regular income reports and updates as required.
- To keep up- to- date and comply with the rules as set by the Fundraising Regulator, GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and other relevant legislation and codes of practice and good practice.
- To keep up to date with changes and trends in the UK fundraising environment
- To undertake any other tasks required.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience
Essential
- Demonstrable experience in Community Fundraising of at least 1-3 years
- Experience in managing staff and/or volunteers
- Proven record of accomplishment in delivering and meeting targets
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
- Well organised with attention to detail
- Ability to inspire and influence others to support Willow
- Ability to develop, motivate and manage individuals and groups of individuals
- Ability to manage several projects and tasks simultaneously and skilled at prioritising
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Effective negotiating and influencing skills
- Strong numeracy skills and ability to forecast and analyse fundraising results
- Decisive and quick problem solver with the ability to adapt easily to change
- Innovative outlook and a willingness to suggest new ideas.
Desirable
- Experience of producing fundraising reports for activity and outcomes
- Proven experience in delivering timely fundraising campaigns and initiatives

The Role
As Development Manager - Major Gifts, you will be a senior member of the DARE team, responsible for generating philanthropic income to meet ambitious annual targets. Reporting to the Head of Major Gifts, you will:
- Manage a portfolio of high-value donors (individuals, trusts & foundations, corporates), personally soliciting gifts of £10,000+.
- Support the pipeline of mid-level prospects and help develop ultra-high-net-worth individuals for transformative gifts.
- Deliver against KPIs and income targets, contributing to our goal of growing major giving from £450,000 annually to £1 million within three years.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and academic leaders, producing compelling proposals and leading donor engagement.

About You
You will be an experienced and driven fundraiser with:
- A proven track record of securing and stewarding four-figure and above gifts.

- A collaborative approach and the ability to work across a complex organisation.
