You will work with the Assistant Principal Learner Services to define, articulate and
implement our shared vision and values of the college to support learners with additional
needs in achieving their expected outcomes. You will also work with the Dean of the
Apprenticeship programme to ensure adult learners with additional needs are supported by
teaching staff and in their work placements.
You will hold a key role in the college and are expected to demonstrate outstanding skills in
working with the leadership team, parents and carers, external agencies and learners to
implement the strategic vision of the college, working with these individuals and groups to
ensure we provide a high quality of education to our learners with additional needs.
You will be accountable for ensuring that exam access arrangements are organised to meet
the needs of learners, annual reviews are completed for learners with EHCPs, ALS with the
Apprenticeship team and work alongside the pastoral team and teaching staff to implement
and make them aware of training and teaching strategies that support learners with
additional needs, and that reasonable adjustments for these learners are in place. In addition
to help administer the high needs funding claims with the Assistant Principal and Finance
department and MIS.
Key Responsibilities:
● Strategic Leadership
○ Develop and implement a comprehensive ALS strategy aligned with the
college’s vision and values.
○ Oversee the effective allocation and utilisation of resources, including High
Needs and EHCP Funding.
○ Monitor and evaluate the impact of ALS interventions and initiatives, driving
continuous improvement.
○ Foster a culture of inclusivity and support for learners with additional needs.
○ Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to advocate for SEND provision
and secure necessary resources.
● Operational Management
○ Line supervise the work of a team of 4 Learning Support Assistants, providing
guidance, support, and performance feedback.
○ Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ALS team, ensuring efficient and
effective service delivery.
○ Co-ordinate the allocation of caseloads and workload distribution within the
team and creating support plans
○ Develop and implement robust systems and processes for identifying,
assessing, and supporting learners with additional needs.
○ Ensure compliance with relevant SEND legislation, Policies and regulations.
● Collaboration and Partnership
○ Work closely with the Assistant Principal Learner Services, the Dean of the
Apprenticeship programme, and other key stakeholders to ensure a cohesive
and coordinated approach to SEND provision.
○ Build and maintain strong relationships with external agencies, including local
authorities, health professionals, and specialist support services.
○ Engage with parents/carers, providing regular communication and
opportunities for involvement.
● Staff Development
○ Lead and facilitate professional development opportunities for the ALS team,
ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to support learners
effectively.
○ Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
Essential:
○ Proven experience in a leadership or co-ordination role within a SEND or ALS
context.
○ Be educated to Level 3 standard.
○ In-depth knowledge of SEND legislation and best practices.
○ Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing learners with
additional needs in a further education setting.
○ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
○ Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team.
● Desirable:
○ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
○ Experience working in a further education college.
○ Knowledge of the digital skills sector.

Summary
We are seeking a proactive and diligent Compliance Officer to join our Recruitment and Operations team. You will be responsible for providing a robust compliant onboarding service for all successful applicants to our awardwinning Tutoring Programmes; ensuring all candidates are ready and fully eligible to start their delivering tuition sessions in colleges across the country. Key Responsibilities:
Compliance and Onboarding:

This role will manage the delivery of our legacy marketing strategy across our priority markets reporting into the Global Legacy Director, and working closely with the Legacy Officers, the Direct Marketing and Digital Teams. Role and Responsibilities
The Legacy Marketing Specialist will have a global role, managing the marketing in each of our priority countries, Canada, US, UK, France, Germany, Netherlands and Australia.
- Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of all legacy campaigns across stewardship and acquisition including multi channel activity including digital, print, and events. Ensuring high-quality delivery and maximum impact.
- Work closely with and collaborate with internal teams including Direct Marketing, Design, Production and Digital as well as external agencies to develop compelling content and messaging aligned with the organisation’s brand and communication strategies.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, analysing results and recommending new channels or strategies to grow legacy donor acquisition and retention.

We are looking for an experienced Finance Director to join our team of nearly 100 staff, ideally before the end of 2025.
This is a full-time, home-based, permanent position. You can be based anywhere in mainland UK or Ireland, with some travel and occasional overnight stays to meeting and conferences mainly in England and Wales.
We offer flexibility around working hours, including the option of a 9 day fortnight - time off in lieu is also available. We offer 25 days holiday pro rata (rising to 28 days) plus statutory public holidays. The role is a grade 7 position with a starting salary circa £75,000 plus benefits including 9% employer pension contribution.
The Finance Director (“FD”) works alongside the Chief Executive and Operations Director to manage the finances and governance of The Rivers Trust, a leading conservation charity with three associated trading subsidiaries operating across the UK and Ireland, with a collective annual income approaching £10m.
Given the prospective retirement of the current postholder at the end of 2025, we are seeking a well-qualified and experienced individual to take on this senior leadership role as soon as possible to enable handover to occur.
The role is very varied and wide-ranging, including presenting financial information to the Trustees and senior management on a quarterly basis, reviewing monthly management accounts, leading on annual budgeting, appraising internal project concepts and contracts, statutory compliance administration and liaising with auditors.
The postholder will lead a team of eight in the Finance department and join a very welcoming team of 95 highly engaged and passionate staff at The Rivers Trust.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Working alongside the CEO, the Finance Director will provide commercial, financial and governance management and leadership for The Rivers Trust ("the Charity") and its associated subsidiaries (“The Companies”). The FD will not only be an exceptional accountant, with executive oversight of the finance function, but will be commercially astute and have the confidence to represent robustly the best interests of The Companies. The FD will also be an experienced manager of people.
Key Accountabilities:
- Act as a business partner to support and constructively challenge the CEO in the general management of the Charity and the Companies, reporting to the board.
- Lead all aspects of the finance function (including maintaining and developing the financial control environment; robust financial accounting; cashflow management; incisive management information; clear and concise reporting to Board) to ensure that the Charity and the Companies’ assets are secured, risks are managed, and the Board of Trustees, subsidiary boards and committees can make well-informed decisions.
- Manage relationships with auditors, funders, IT specialists, banks, investment platforms and other external organisations.
- Provide support to project bids and the development of other commercial opportunities to ensure that bids/opportunities are optimised for the Charity and the Companies as a whole.
- Provide input to project and programme delivery from time to time, to ensure that performance is maximised for the Charity and the Companies.
- Attend Board meetings and Business Audit and Risk Committee meetings to guide the Board and the Senior Management Team on financial, commercial and governance issues.
- Ensure compliance with the requirements of the Charity Commission and Companies House and, from time to time, provide guidance to members of the Rivers Trust movement on good governance practice.
- Maintain the finance department operational manual for business continuity.
- Serve as the Company Secretary for the Charity and Companies.
Staff Management:
- Lead, manage and develop the finance team (who work remotely) and ensure the team understands their respective and collective contribution to achieving the Charity's and the Companies’ objectives.
- Support the team in their professional development.

Assist the wider team with ad hoc work and undertake small projects
that support the charity's work. e.g. Events, Logistical and Tech Support.
Environmental Advocate
Work with the Operations Manager to promote environmental
awareness and encourage the charity adopts a green approach (e.g.,
recycling, energy use, carbon footprint).
Identify and implement actions to reduce environmental impacts, costs,
and/or increase income under the direction of the Operations Manager.

About the role
We’re looking for a Fundraising Engagement Manager with great personality and team ethic to join our Regional Fundraising team.
This is a role of variety, opportunity and innovation, and we are looking for someone who embraces change and constantly strives to achieve more.
You will maximise income for Young Live vs Cancer by coaching our supporters to reach their goals, whilst seeking out new fundraising opportunities for your geographical area. This role sits within the ‘Regional Engagement’ team and we need someone with natural customer service skills who wants to deliver a legendary experience to all of their supporters. Your team of supporters will range from volunteers and individuals, to groups and local corporates.
Bristol and Somerset is an area filled with some of our most committed supporters but there is still so much opportunity to grow corporate support across the counties. Our Social Workers support families from Bristol hospitals, so building relationships with these teams are a must.

This person will lead the work of the Cyclox infrastructure; increase Cyclox membership, ensure we are compliant and work closely with our Campaigns Lead which will include research, input into campaigns, fundraising applications and perform other administrative functions. About SOS – Silence of Suicide
Founded in 2015 by Michael and Yvette Mansfield, SOS Silence of Suicide exists to break the silence around mental health and suicide. Initially a peer-support group, SOS is now a growing charity offering multi-channel support services via a national helpline, mobile hubs, and in-person outreach. With around 45 staff and volunteers, SOS is poised for further expansion and impact and is seeking a strategic and compassionate CEO to lead us through the next exciting phase of development.
The Role
The Chief Executive Officer will lead SOS’s strategic direction, operations, partnerships and fundraising. This includes shaping long-term sustainability, developing our team and enhancing our voice in national conversations centered around suicide prevention and mental health.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and manage the Senior Leadership Teams
· Deliver and grow SOS’s core services – helpline, hubs and outreach – ensuring high-quality, accessible support.
· Develop and implement a sustainable income generation strategy in collaboration with fundraising staff.
· Ensure sound financial management, working with bookkeepers, auditors and the Board to meet compliance needs.
