The Role
As one of two Finance Business Partners, the postholder is responsible for ensuring that Royal Museum Greenwich’s strategic ambitions are correctly planned for and that adequate financial resources are in place to achieve them.
Key elements of the role involve advising and supporting all staff with financial responsibilities to ensure that financial decisions are optimised and to keep relevant staff informed of key financial updates and changes, and to communicate any relevant changes to the rest of the Finance team.
Further core responsibilities include supporting assigned Heads of Departments and directors on all financial matters, advising on budgeting and forecasting, monitoring of actual results and ad hoc queries, and working as a team with the other Finance Business Partner, lead on the production of the monthly management accounts pack, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and incisive analysis and commentary.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with a demonstrable track record of working with non-finance managers to achieve high quality reporting, budgeting and forecasting, ideally within government bodies or heritage/cultural/charitable organisations. Excellent analytical skills, the ability to communicate financial concepts effectively to non-financial stakeholders and solve problems are also essential.
This is a permanent full-time in Band 3 - Senior Management. Core hours of work will be 36 per week, working Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am-5pm, although due to the nature of the work, some flexibility may be required.
Salary: £51,500 per annum

The Digital Lead is the operational backbone of the Digital team, responsible for ensuring the smooth, day-to-day running of all digital functions. This role is a key partner to the Head of Digital, freeing them to focus on strategy, vision, digital transformation and high-level stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management & Team Leadership
· Line Management and People Development: Serve as the primary line manager for the digital managers of web, digital campaigns & email and social media, overseeing day-to-day operations and team performance. Conduct regular check-ins, performance reviews, and support individual development plans, iterating and embedding the "Digital Wavemakers Manifesto" and team development approach.
· Demand & Workload Management: Actively manage the team's workload and capacity. Implement and maintain processes for demand management and effective planning to ensure the team can deliver its goals sustainably.
· Resource Planning: Ensure resources are allocated effectively across the team's goals, from daily operations to specific projects.
· Team Culture: Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture. Monitor team health and morale using surveys and qualitative feedback, ensuring the team is well-supported and motivated.
Goal & Objective Delivery
· Operational Goal Delivery: Drive the delivery of the Digital team’s operational goals and objectives for the fiscal year. This includes ensuring all goals related to digital purpose, principles, and team objectives are met, as per the established department plan.
· DDT Programme Support: While not a core part of the role, the Digital Lead will provide operational support to the Head of Digital and the broader digital transformation programme. This includes ensuring the Digital team's resources and deliverables (e.g. website development, cyber security, Salesforce embedding) are planned effectively to support the DDT's success, without taking on direct project management responsibility for them.
Planning & Reporting
· Operational Planning: Support the Head of Digital with the development of the team's operational plans, including learning and development initiatives, and the Digital Acceleration Training Programme.
· Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key departmental metrics, such as learning programme participation rates and team satisfaction, to the Head of Digital. Ensure all departmental objectives and goals are on track.

Additional Information:
Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

This role is central role to delivering Screen Share's award-winning Digital Access Programme, which refurbishes donated technology and distributes it to refugees and asylum seekers across the UK. This is a new role in the team designed to increase our capacity to support a growing client base. It is both practical and operational, involving both technology
management and customer service.
The role focuses on making sure the right devices reach the right people. You will process referrals, coordinate fulfilment, and work with clients, partners and volunteers to make sure devices are delivered smoothly and any challenges are resolved with care. This requires clear and confident communication, strong organisation, and a trauma-informed, safeguarding-aware approach to working with people from many different backgrounds.
On the technical side, the post holder will support the end-to-end management of Screen Share’s IT assets. Working closely within the Operations team, this includes logging and racking devices, maintaining accurate database records, supporting physical storage and stock control, assisting with secure data sanitisation, and preparing devices for distribution through careful packaging and postage. This element of the role ensures that all devices are handled safely, securely and in line with our operational and data protection standards.
The role sits within a busy, highly collaborative and fun Operations team, where people support one another, share knowledge freely, and work together to solve problems. You will have opportunities to learn from colleagues, contribute your own ideas and experience, and help shape how we work as the organisation grows.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service
Explaining Screen Share’s referral process to individuals and partner organisations seeking support, and signposting to external services where appropriate. Sharing responsibility with the wider team for client and partner communications,
responding promptly, professionally and courteously. Support in-person device distribution at partner charities, libraries
and accommodation settings, and provide remote technical support to clients via phone and email, communicating
clearly, patiently and with care.
Data Management and Administration
Reviewing, prioritising and processing referral applications, completing digital paperwork and issuing delivery and tracking information. Capturing, updating and maintaining accurate client and device data to support day-to-day operations and impact reporting. Allocating devices based on client needs and available stock, and handling all client, partner and donor information in line with data protection policies and GDPR requirements.
Postage and Packaging
Preparing, packaging and dispatching devices and accessories securely using postal and courier services. Ensuring all equipment is packaged safely and appropriately to prevent damage in transit.
General Operations and Ad-hoc Support
Participating fully in team meetings and contributing to shared problem-solving. Supporting the refurbishment process as needed, including data sanitisation, basic diagnostics, installing operating systems and logging donated devices. Assisting with fulfilment across other programmes and providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Operations team.

Role: Habitats and Fisheries Campaigner
The Habitats and Fisheries Campaigner will manage and deliver our marine habitats and sustainable fisheries campaigns.
Reporting to the Head of Campaigns, this role will be responsible for the design and practical delivery of innovative, engaging, and clear campaign plans to meet Oceana’s goals to deliver effective marine protected areas and safeguard well-managed fish populations in UK seas and reduce the pressure of destructive fishing and overfishing.
Eligible candidates should have proven experience in managing and delivering complex public campaigns to drive national policy change. They must be passionate, and able to develop and implement creative and bold campaign activities, alongside our small but experienced team.
The position will be hybrid, based three days per week (Tues-Thurs) in Oceana’s UK offices in Newquay, Cornwall or Paddington, London. Regular national, and occasional international, travel will be required to meet team members and stakeholders in geographically diverse locations, including Washington, DC.

Responsibilities
- Develop, manage and deliver Oceana UK’s Habitats and Fisheries campaigns, taking accountability for their quality, timeliness and success.
- Contribute and advise on campaign strategies through annual planning and budgeting process, and through on-going detailed project planning.
- Design and manage delivery of all of Oceana UK’s Habitats and Fisheries campaign activities, including (but not limited to) campaign actions and launches, public mobilizations, digital actions, NGO partnerships and allies, coalitions and potential legal challenges.
- Plan all projects in detail, securing approval of all details, and documenting clear methodology, roles, responsibilities, and timelines in advance.
- Manage the campaign calendar and budget, ensuring that all campaign deliverables are managed and delivered on time and to budget, with any updates accurately reflected in the quarterly reforecast process.
- Monitor and evaluate progress against plans, ensuring effective delivery of campaign objectives. • Work with Science and Research colleagues to ensure that the Habitats and Fisheries campaigns have scientifically robust foundations and evidence.
- Work with Policy colleagues to ensure campaign plans deliver effective lobbying and advocacy toward our goals, including through drafting briefings and letters, meeting and engaging decision makers, planning and attending events, and responding to consultations.
- Support the Communications team to ensure our campaigning plans and delivery are effectively reflected to engage supporters and other relevant audiences.
- In collaboration with the Communications team, manage consultants to design and deliver creative, digital, and design assets in support of campaign actions.
- Collaborate internally with UK Leadership Team and other relevant colleagues, including internationally, taking on board all relevant input, to ensure strong campaign impact.
- Commission and manage consultants to deliver campaign activities and events.
- Build strong external relationships and represent Oceana UK to ensure we advance our campaign goals with a wide range of stakeholders, including civil servants, politicians, the fishing industry, NGOs, and businesses.
- Be spokesperson for these campaigns, representing Oceana externally in the media, social media, events, relevant networks, with partners, and in meetings. • Line manage the Habitats and Fisheries Campaign Officer, offering day-to-day support and learning, as well as longer term career development.
- Be present in person in the London or Cornwall office 3 days per week (Tues-Thurs), promoting a positive working culture.

Candidate Requirements
Education and work experience:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in campaigning, ideally toward ocean or environmental goals (essential).
- Experience managing environmental protection or oceans or fisheries related campaigns in the UK, with an understanding of the main issues, processes and stakeholders involved.
- Experience turning complex policy issues into innovative and engaging campaigns.
- Degree or masters in fisheries, marine science, or a related field (preferred).
- Line management experience.
Skills and knowledge:
- Familiarity with fisheries or marine and environmental regulations, legislation and policies in the UK, as well as with the key institutions and decision-making processes.
- Proficiency at understanding and distilling complex scientific issues for campaigning purposes.
- Excellent project management skills, with demonstrable experience managing and prioritising multiple workstreams, tasks, projects and timelines effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and impactful campaign outputs.

Key Responsibilities
To work closely with the Evidence & Advocacy Manager (EAM) to develop and implement a series of impactful evidence and research projects that support our advocacy messaging, as well as internal and external learning for inclusive programmes and advisory work. These projects will build on established workstreams alongside developing new ones to maintain and extend CBM UK’s evidence base.
Disability Evidence, Policy Research and Learning
With EAM support the ongoing CBM UK Research and Evidence workstream, through:
- Translating evidence from our programming countries and projects to produce and contribute to a range of resources to influence FCDO and other stakeholders. Tasks to include managing and maintaining established outputs, such as the CBM UK Project Evidence Briefs and Disability Voices paper series, generating new thematic papers, as well as policy and position papers to enhance effective advocacy submissions, briefing notes, blogs and other messaging on key disability rights issues.
- Working collaboratively within CBM UK and across CBM Global to help develop and to deliver new policy research, drawing on mixed methods and data sources including national and international databases, using qualitative approaches including participatory or citizen generated data, and new empirical work.
- Supporting Programme staff to improve impact and learning practice in CBM UK funded projects, provide technical support for the implementation of programme related research and data collection, including MEAL.
- Providing technical research support into the development of proposals for new grant funded projects, and, where successful, support the management of subsequent research projects.
- Keeping abreast of new research and publications on key themes and priority concerns within the CBM UK Advocacy and Influencing Strategy, taking into consideration sector trends and developments, and ensure this is disseminated to relevant staff within the CBM UK Team.

Dissemination and Communications
- Maintaining and developing internal knowledge management systems for research and information on disability inclusion and rights, and related areas, to be used by Advocacy, Programmes and Fundraising & Communications teams.
- Ensuring communication plans are developed with CBM UK and Global Federation colleagues for CBM UK evidence outputs.

Sophie Hayes Foundation (SHF) is a small but mighty charity, empowering women survivors of modern slavery and exploitation. It is an important time at SHF. Our new strategy ‘Sustainable Freedom from Modern Slavery’ launched in 2024 and this role is essential for the delivery of the strategy and ensuring that survivors of modern slavery, human trafficking, and exploitation have access to the support and opportunities they need to achieve their aspirations, independence and a positive future. With soaring numbers of referral to the NRM and thousands more victims living in fear of a hostile environment, this has never been more important than now.
At the heart of Sophie Hayes Foundation’s work will be the support to and empowerment of survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking and this role is critical to survivors’ journeys to sustainable freedom. We are increasingly aware of the precarity faced by survivors, especially during transitions moving on from support and at points of decision making from the NRM or Home Office.
Alongside a small, friendly and dedicated team, you will build pathways of support for a range of participants who are supported by SHF through connecting them to other community organisations. Your role will include assisting them to access safe accommodation, community support, mental health support and access to finances.
You will champion the voices of survivors through the work of the organisation, working with colleagues in CREW, our survivor network, to provide continued support to survivors’ long term.
About the Role
- Conducting initial welcome calls to participants to assess their needs and desired pathway into SHF
- Host Monthly 121 Check-ins with participants who don’t have support workers and during those sessions signpost to long-term support to widen their community support. Writing support letters when needed
- Actively engage with local, regional, and national partners and anti-slavery networks to build and maintain partnerships for survivor referral pathways to other organisations
- Work alongside the CREW Co-ordinator to run events which foster connection within our CREW network, such as a monthly coffee morning
