Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Ri’s YouTube channels, developing a deep knowledge of YouTube’s platforms and algorithm, scheduling video content to maximising channel growth, audience engagement and video revenue through YouTube monetisation
• Manage the Ri’s YouTube membership programme, posting regular member updates, monitoring churn, and generally developing the product to provide a consistent and growing income stream
• Manage the Ri’s website platform and, in conjunction with Head of Digital, Marketing and Communications, develop a road map for future improvements to ensure all website developments are audience-focused and strategically aligned
• With the support of the Head of Digital, manage the day-to-day relationships with our website agency and other digital suppliers, including our YouTube partner manager, as well as discrete digital projects, to ensure our website, YouTube channel, and other digital platforms continue to grow and maintain a high level of quality for our users.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Email marketing

 

· Create high-quality, timely and inspiring emails for HI UK’s donors and supporters every week, to increase income and engagement.

· Develop and launch multichannel emergency fundraising appeals at short notice to maximise fundraising income and supporter awareness.

· Develop and maintain email marketing automation programmes to improve supporter experience.

 

Paid media

· Work with our digital agency to optimise the ROI of our Search Engine Advertising (SEA) on Google and Bing.

· Develop and test new Social Media Advertising campaigns to support fundraising objectives.

· Develop and test new paid media activities to enhance fundraising campaigns.

· Develop and implement multichannel digital fundraising campaigns, working with the Fundraising Manager.

Content creation and website

· Design and produce creative content including video and images for use across digital fundraising and supporter engagement activities.

· Increase the impact of our organic social media content, particularly on Instagram and TikTok.

· Improve the HI UK website as a tool for fundraising and supporter engagement, focusing on the creation and development of appeal landing pages, donation forms, and supporter actions.

· Increase volume and quality of organic traffic to HI UK’s website through Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).

Cross cutting

 

· Maintain detailed reporting on key performance indicators for digital marketing, to evaluate performance, make improvements and identify tests.

· Test and improve key supporter journeys across HI UK’s digital channels to increase income, conversion rate and engagement.

· Increase the integration of HI UK’s existing digital tools and databases through automation.

· Work collaboratively with colleagues in the IGC team to improve digital activities in their areas of responsibility, including legacy fundraising, acquisition, loyalty, supporter care, and media outreach.

· Maintain a positive working relationship with the marketing teams in HI Federation and National Associations, participating in digital working groups and feeding into digital transformation projects as required.

The Degrees Initiative is a UK-based NGO that strengthens the capacity of the Global South to evaluate solar radiation modification (SRM), a controversial proposal for reducing some impacts of climate change by reflecting sunlight away from the Earth. Degrees is neutral on whether SRM should ever be used, but we believe that the Global South should be empowered to conduct their own research and to play a central role in SRM discussions. The initiative has been working in different forms for over a decade, and our work receives worldwide coverage and widespread acclaim.

Responsibilities

The Policy and Engagement Manager, Africa will strengthen the voice of the Global South in discussions and potential negotiations on SRM research and governance with relevance to Africa by connecting experts to policy processes. Accordingly, the successful candidate will: 

• Identify and engage key policy actors (e.g. national delegates and legislators, scientific advisors, intergovernmental officials) in Africa, connecting them to local SRM experts and providing them with information, where appropriate, while remaining neutral regarding the potential use and governance of SRM;
• Work with SRM researchers from the region to support the ongoing development of a coordinated community of experts; 
• Build informal and formal partnerships with like-minded organisations, helping to inform discussions and counter misinformation about climate and SRM.
• Share expertise and experience gained from Africa with staff and researchers and participate, as appropriate, in activities in Asia and the Pacific and Latin America and the Caribbean to gain similar expertise;
• Identify the most impactful international forums and regional SRM discussions, and work to connect local experts into these;

The Information Manager is a pivotal senior role within The Migraine Trust—responsible for shaping and developing all health information produced by the organisation. This role ensures that our information is accurate, accessible, evidence‑based and meets the highest national standards, including oversight of our Patient Information Forum (PIF TICK) accreditation. The health information we produce covers a wide range of topics from migraine treatments, management of migraine, latest research and migraine triggers. There is also an ongoing need to scope new information needs and, where identified, produce new information. The depth of health information we currently have and will produce in the future ensures that this role will offer plenty of opportunities to work with a range of stakeholders on a variety of information topics. We currently hold PIF TICK certification, which will be part of this role to maintain. You will help us maintain the quality of our health information and ensure that we comply with the charity’s writing style and branding.

Acting as the charity’s subject‑matter expert on migraine information, the postholder plays a vital strategic role in influencing organisational priorities, ensuring the public, healthcare professionals, policymakers and wider stakeholders have access to accurate, impactful and up‑to‑date content.

Key tasks and responsibilities

Producing and maintaining quality information

Manage The Migraine Trust’s provision of health information in line with the charity’s annual planning cycle and the PIF TICK accreditation.  This will include: -

· Lead The Migraine Trust’s health information portfolio, ensuring alignment to annual plans, organisational strategy, and PIF TICK quality standards

· Manage the full lifecycle of health information—from scoping and research to writing, expert review, design and publication

· Reviewing and updating existing information content, ensuring it is accurate, up-to-date, accessible and produced in consultation with service users and people with lived experience, relevant medical advisors, health care professionals, the charity’s staff and other relevant specialists and organisations when appropriate

· Identify emerging gaps in information and lead the development of new materials

· Identify and engage with target groups identified in our three year strategy to identify need and produce associated materials

Build key strategic partnerships to assist us in disseminating information on migraine.

You will oversee all aspects of legacy marketing, legacy administration and in-memory giving, ensuring compliance, accuracy and sensitivity in this specialist area. Robertson Bell is pleased to be supporting NSPCC in their search for a Financial Accounting & Control Manager to join their Finance & Procurement team on a permanent basis. NSPCC are the UK’s leading children’s charity, committed to ending cruelty to children and ensuring every childhood is safe and supported. They have been working to protect children for over 100 years, providing services, advice, and campaigning for change.

The Financial Accounting & Control Manager will report into the Head of Central Finance and lead a team of four, overseeing primary ledgers, balance sheet reconciliations, statutory accounts production, tax compliance, and treasury management. The postholder will be responsible for ensuring operational effectiveness and technical compliance across financial processes, while providing high-quality financial advice and guidance to colleagues across the organisation.

From their campaigns to their services, the NSPCC strive to make a difference in everything they do. They work with schools, provide support and advice for families and deliver therapeutic services. They undertake ground-breaking research, campaign for change, and run two free helplines providing support and advice: Childline (for children and young people) and Helpline (for adults seeking advice). Between 2016 and 2021, they helped make 6.6 million children safer from abuse - but they won’t stop until they stop child abuse and neglect altogether.

The key duties of this Financial Accounting & Control Manager will be:

• Lead the production of consolidated statutory accounts for NSPCC and its subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with SORP and accounting standards.
• Implement, monitor, and enforce internal financial controls to ensure integrity of ledger and reporting.
• Manage VAT, direct tax, and corporate tax compliance, including planning, returns, and negotiations with HMRC.
• Oversee cash flow monitoring and treasury management, including investment and banking relationships.
• Critically evaluate and improve financial processes, documenting procedures and ensuring adherence across the team.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Lead and develop a team of Financial Accountants and Finance Officers, ensuring workload management and staff development.

The successful candidate will have:

• A CCAB-qualified accountancy qualification with experience in a complex financial environment.
• Experience producing consolidated statutory accounts and managing external audits, ideally within the charity sector.
• Proven experience in implementing, documenting, and enforcing financial controls.
• Experience managing, developing, and motivating a small team.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to convey financial information to non-finance colleagues.
• A proactive and solution-focused approach with experience of process improvement and compliance initiatives.

Thanks for taking the time to explore the role of Trusts Fundraising Manager at the Family Holiday Charity. The role is becoming vacant as our current Trusts Fundraiser is taking early retirement. We’re super happy for her. But it means time for change! So, we're looking for a new colleague to join us and build forward from all the hard work that she’s put in!

This role is a critical one in our fundraising plans - raising around £300k annually, with pipeline potential for more as you unlock partnership working and programme development across the organisation.

You’ll need to be a bit of an all-rounder - researching and keeping pipelines updated, eccure gifts and donations, consider applications, adapt data and information and inspire with your words, reporting on progress and income. Add a dash of strategic thinking as we develop programmes and look for new funding support to achieve that. We currently raise about £200k (with about ¾ of that as secure as any pipeline can be) but have a budget target of £100k to raise from partnership working and programme development with others in the team. There’s a lot of potential in this area!

The trusts environment is, quite frankly, a bit bonkers so we know that this won't appear on paper to be the easiest role in the world. You’re going to need grit and tenacity as well as all the other skills a good trust fundraiser needs. But we’re a great team, going great things and in a fantastic position to build forward from our existing strong position in Trusts.

We’re a small but flexible team - just like our approach to work. This is a hybrid role, and you’ll need to show your face in the office periodically (for things with a purpose, not just for the sake of it!). Programme and Assessments Manager 

The role: Are you an experienced programme manager able to engage and drive impact with a diverse range of stakeholders, including leading brands, manufacturers, governmental and third sector organisations to drive continuous improvement in fair work standards – with major legislative changes on the horizon? Do you have experience of social audits and assessments and the role they can play in measuring progress and driving continuous improvement?  

Then this could be the position for you.  

We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager with sector specific expertise to manage our collaborative programme in the UK apparel and general merchandise sectors following a strategic year focussed on the evolution of the programme from the previous Fast Forward initiative.  

In this varied role you will be responsible for the day to day running of the UK Apparel and General Merchandise programme, provide developmental input and support the implementation of the key recent developments in the programme, as well as ensuring the programme maintains its integrity. You will manage relationships with all key stakeholders in the programme including brands, suppliers, audit bodies, third sector organisations and public bodies.  

You'll also manage the quality assurance of the portfolio of Stronger Together assessment methodologies – including the Fair Work Audit operated in the UK manufacturing, service provision and construction sectors. And you’ll deliver, enhance and promote brand and supplier engagement including training workshops and webinars. 

You’ll work with the Co-CEOs to ensure the programme delivers on target, on-time, on-budget, in line with the agreements and organisational objectives and guidelines.

As a Purchase to Pay Manager within our Finance & Assurance directorate, you'll own the end-to-end purchase-to-pay process that keeps our charity running. From procuring goods and services through to payment, you'll ensure smooth, controlled, and efficient operations while being the highly visible 'front door' of Accounts Payable for colleagues across the Society.

You'll oversee the complete P2P journey. Monitoring purchase requisitions, goods receipting, invoice processing, and payment runs, while proactively resolving issues and managing risks. You're an experienced finance professional with deep understanding of purchase-to-pay processes in large, complex organisations. You'll have:

- Experience line managing, developing and motivating teams, particularly those early in their careers or undertaking professional qualifications, using a high challenge, high support approach.
