You’ll be part of Marie Curie’s England Policy and Public Affairs team, working closely with colleagues across our research, caring services, and innovation teams. We work collaboratively with the Ambitions Partnership - a coalition of 35 national organisations - to drive meaningful change in policy and practice for palliative and end-of-life care. Our work is underpinned by evidence, lived experience, and a commitment to tackling inequities in care.

This is your opportunity to design and manage the delivery of a new and exciting programme of work for the Ambitions National Partnership for Palliative Care and End of Life Care, working with senior NHS and statutory and voluntary sector partners. You’ll also lead an innovative Marie Curie pilot focusing on working through primary care to improve end of life care in care homes. Your expertise and evidence-led approach will help shape decisions at local, regional, and national levels - creating a more equitable system for those at the end of life.

You will be responsible for: 

• Leading delivery of the Ambitions Partnership’s new work programme - setting clear outcomes, managing budgets, and keeping activities on track.
• Developing partnerships across the health and care system, fostering collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Enabling evidence-sharing by producing high-quality reports, briefings, and resources for policy and practice audiences.
• Managing the care homes innovation programme, ensuring learning is shared nationwide and translated into practical change.
• Designing and delivering engagement activities including workshops, seminars, and events to support policy and practice impact.

Key Criteria:

• Proven experience in designing and managing impactful programmes for policy and practice change.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex evidence clearly to different audiences.

About the Choir with No Name

The Choir with No Name has been running choirs involving people impacted by homelessness and marginalisation since 2008, and we currently have choirs in Birmingham, Liverpool, London, Cardiff, Coventry, Sheffield and Brighton. The Operations Manager is a key role within the team, ensuring the effective and efficient management of the SLG’s three sites: the Main Gallery, the Fire Station and Art Block. This includes managing the maintenance and upkeep of the SLG’s Grade II listed buildings and artist-designed gardens, as well as leading the Front of House team to ensure that the SLG provides a welcoming and inclusive environment for all visitors and a high quality of visitor experience. 

The Operations Manager works closely with the Deputy Director and manages a team comprising two Operations Supervisors, the Gallery Technician and contracted and casual Front of House staff and Cleaners. ROLE OVRVIEW 

We’re looking for a creative and strategic thinking individual with strong writing skills to lead the development and delivery of compelling digital content that aligns our key messages to key audiences. You’ll play a vital role in increasing our visibility, strengthening our voice, and positioning Fields in Trust as the go-to organisation for commentary, advice, and support on parks and green spaces.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Develop and implement a digital content plan aligned with organisational strategy and goals, collaborating with media partners and creative agencies as needed.

ClientEarth’s Development Department is responsible for raising and managing funds to enable the organisation to deliver its mission using the power of the law to bring about systemic change that protects the earth for, and with its inhabitants. Meet your Manager

In this role, you will be managed by Lydia Baker. Lydia joined ClientEarth in August 2024 and in her role as a Grants Manager is responsible for managing relationships with key funders. Lydia has worked in the NGO sector for over eight years and has expertise in a variety of functions including grant management, programme management, communications and monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning.  On a day-to-day basis you will work closely with Lydia as part of an established Grants Team that sits within the Development Department at ClientEarth.

Main Duties

• Funding portfolio management - Have a close and in-depth knowledge of their grants portfolio, including a sound understanding of the philanthropic, institutional and statutory funding mix;
• Internal and external communications - Meet with Trust, Foundation and Institution portfolio managers to discuss proposals, provide updates on the programmatic work, and to formally report back on financial, organisational and technical issues; 
• Project management - Effectively manage reporting and the grant renewal process from start to completion including working with multiple teams across ClientEarth’s European and international offices to ensure input from all avenues to complete proposals and reports in a timely and high-quality manner; and 
• Financial planning and budget handling - Work with Finance and Programmes staff to develop individual budgets for funding proposals
• Systems and processes - Maintain funder database systems (Raiser’s Edge) and other organisational databases (SharePoint) on a daily basis

As Research and Insight Manager, you’ll play a key role in championing the voice of our customers, making sure their needs, views and expectations are fully understood and placed at the heart of everything we do at British Heart Foundation (BHF).

You’ll work closely with teams across the organisation, including brand and marketing, fundraising, retail and medical, acting as their research insight partner. You’ll help shape insight plans, lead research projects, and deliver findings that directly inform strategic and operational decisions.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

• Partnering with colleagues to convert complex and diverse business needs into focused insight plans, aligning the right research mix to products, audiences and priorities

Working arrangements

We are recruiting two Research and Insight Managers; one on permanent basis and one as 12-month Fixed Term Contract. 

This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home and at least one day per week, on average, in our London Office. This may vary from time to time, so you’ll need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.

About you

You’ll bring solid experience from a dedicated market or social research role, whether client-side or agency,  with a strong track record of using a broad range of qualitative, quantitative and secondary research methods such as surveys, focus groups and interviews. You’ve led a wide variety of projects, including brand tracking, customer satisfaction, creative testing and proposition development, and you’re confident working across different business areas to meet a range of organisational needs.

You’re comfortable managing research from start to finish – from writing briefs and designing surveys or discussion guides, to overseeing fieldwork, conducting analysis and presenting findings. You’ve worked closely with external research agencies, managing procurement and delivery, and you know how to translate complex methodologies and data into clear, actionable insights that resonate with colleagues at all levels, including those without a research background.

You’ll bring:

• Expertise in selecting and tailoring research methods to varied business questions
• A deep understanding of ethical research practices, GDPR, and inclusive research approaches
• Strong questionnaire design skills and experience using survey software
• Excellent communication and consultancy skills, with the ability to influence and advise stakeholders at all levels
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising effectively and delivering to a high standard
• ​A proactive mindset, always looking for ways to improve processes and working practices

Experience in a health-related field, managing customer research communities or panels, and line management would be a bonus but it’s not essential.
