About the Service

Ella House is an Accommodation Service that provides support to women who have experience Rough Sleeping, Trauma and Multiple Disadvantage.  The aim of the project is to provide support to women for around 18 months to build skills to be able to live independently. 

The service is a 24 hour service that runs on a shift pattern over the week and has a concierge service covering nights.  Staff will provide holistic support to service users looking at all their needs and putting a robust plan in place.

About the Role

The Activities and Wellbeing worker will provide both 121 and group sessions. Speaking with women to understand their needs and wants and developing appropriate session plans.  These can be wellbeing activities, skills based  or creative depending on what the women require.  There will be a small budget to accommodate activities.

About You

The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with vulnerable people from a strengths based approach.  An understanding of Trauma and how to work in psychologiacally informed environments is essential in this role.  Someone who is motivated and creative and able to build relationships with women and get them to engage in a variety of activities.

We're looking for an efficient, friendly Volunteer Co-ordinator to join our award-winning charity.  The team is based at our busy community centre from where it offers a range of services from community meals, art classes to gardening services and digital support.  We support older and disabled people living in Fulham, London.  Much of our work is delivered by volunteers, so this post is critical to our service delivery. About the Role

We’re now looking for a Programme Coordinator to help us deliver our high-quality programmes and build on our progress. You’ll recruit and support volunteer mentors, prepare and match young people to programmes, and act as a key point of contact for referrers and families. You’ll also contribute to outreach, run Youth Support Groups for young asylum seekers, and support our Youth Advisory Council. You’ll be a strong communicator, empathetic and able to connect with young people from diverse backgrounds while understanding the challenges they face. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Recruiting, training, and supporting volunteer mentors.

• Matching young people with mentors and monitoring progress.

• Coordinating Youth Support Groups for young people seeking asylum and refugees.

The Role

Join a co-operative providing British Sign Language (BSL) Interpreters and developing tech to support to users. The co-operative is co-run and co-owned by its members, who are Deaf people and BSL interpreters. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and Operations Team Leader to provide a high quality and efficient service, helping the business to achieve agreed targets whilst working to the co-operative’s ethos. 

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating the provision of communication professionals for Deaf/Hard of Hearing people across for medical (including mental health) appointments and for other work in a variety of sectors (education, child protection, conference, employment, legal settings etc)
• Accepting and making calls
• Dealing with bookings and general enquiries in a fast-paced environment
• Supporting marketing and business development and communicating to members and external stakeholders
• Supporting other staff where necessary

About You

We're looking for a Democracy Coordinator to help support and grow Arts SU's democratic spaces. You'll play a key role in making sure students are involved, informed and empowered through forums, elections and other democratic activities. You'll oversee our Ideas Platform and work closely with sabbatical officers and teams across UAL to keep these spaces student-led and relevant. You'll also be the operational lead for our student elections - from technical set-up to support candidates and making sure everything runs fairly and transparently. It's a varied role that puts students at the hear of decision-making while making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
